I think it means that both you and your body

desperately want these implants out and that doctors are not sympathetic.

Lynda, It's all I think about, talk about, and read about. Everything in my life relates to the implants. When I walk across the room and run out of breath, when I look from one side to the other and have to turn my whole body because it feels like my head, neck, and shoulders are fused together, or when I bend any limb or joint and it feels like its going to break it reminds me that all of these pains are from the implants. It's hard not taking pain killers. If I had less pain I proabably wouldn't think so much about the implants causing the pain. The sooner I get them out the better for sanity sake. Hi ,

That sounds like me with the nightmares.

When I had a problem with my breathing the

other night, I dreamt my husband was messing around with me and he fell on my

back, I couldn’t breathe and was trying to get him off me and he just

kept laughing. The next thing I new I was thinking this is it I am going to die

with my husband on my back, I heard this loud pitch whistle and saw all these colored

lights flashing. The next thing I woke up and was really scared thinking was

that a dream ???

I think we dream about what is on our

minds when we fall asleep; it’s only natural that you are having these

nightmares….. Let’s face it you are going through some rough times

at the moment.

Some dreams are so real they are terribly frightening;

try not to worry about it though things will get better once the implants are

out it will be such a relief.

Love Sue.

Subject: Implant

nightmare

Ladies,

Last night I had the worst nightmare I've had in a long time. The

lumps in my breast have been giving me a fit lately with alot of

pain and swelling and I believe they were hurting in my sleep which

caused me to dream this.

I was looking down at my painful right breast and I noticed a lump.

I began rubbing the lump and I could feel the silicone shells edge.

It was right under the skin and I could tell a great amount of the

saline had emptied out. The edge was sharp and began getting closer

to the surface. Suddenly it broke through the skin and I grabbed my

breast. As I grabbed my breast, the implant ruptured spilling out at

least a quart of fluid. I releast my breast to look and it burst

open spilling out the implant into the sink. My breast was split

open from my chest down to the tip of my nipple. The injury was wide

open and looked rotten inside. I grabbed to phone and began to call

for help franticly holding the breast closed. I was screamig bloody

murder running into the hospital begging for help, but know one

would help me. Everytime I would try to show a doctor or nurse my

breast it would open back up and they would look at me with a very

confused look. I woke up horrified.

If anyone has had dreams concerning their implants or thinks they

know what this means, please let me know.

, The most important thing is to get it done right the first time . . . Doctors don't have to believe implants make women sick . . . But they do have to respect them enough to do the surgery the way they want it done. . . Keep in mind, he/she is working FOR YOU! . . . Be sure the doctor uses drains too! Personally, my choice would depend on how much I felt I could trust either doctor. I'd run from doctors who'd tell me that I would be depresses without implants, deformed, or offer any other negative outcome. When women come to doctors sick, and the capsules aren't removed, the women usually stay sick . . . That makes the doctors think the implants didn't make them sick . . . Duh! . . . Why don't they consider that it's the capsules created by the implants that's making them sick! . . . dumb de dumb dumb! Rogene

That dream could unnerve anyone.

If you have to borrow $$, I would find the most

reasonably priced doc who does it right. The

range is from around $5000 to $12,000.

What Medicaid do you have, is it a state Medicaid

only usable in your own state?

Yep, Florida medicaid will only cover you in Florida.

How much is Dr. Kolb? I think Dr. Huang in Denver is about $5000 and

excellent, if you have to borrow. Of course, from Florida, Georgia

is much closer, you would have to fly to Denver. You could drive to Georgia.

Rogene, I would like for Dr kolb to do it. I'm just getting back on my feet after a week in bed. Between having the flu and then our lovely mother nature coming for a visit at the same time, I have not been able to take care of anything. It may take me a couple more days to recover and start working on my implant problem again. I am still very weak and my vision is very cloudy but I have to go to Dr. Seagle again to show him that my left breast is almost flat. He does take medicaid. Dede, Thank you! I feel a little better today. I'm not coughing as much. I think pms has alot to do with my weakness. So, I went to see Dr.Seagle again yesterday and I really do like him. We agreed to disagree about the implants making me sick. He will do the surgery how I want although he says it is unnecessary because he does not think the implants have made me sick. I told him that I respect his opinion but I had met to many women online that know differently. He said the only way to know for sure would be to take them out and see if I get better. I'm still waiting on medicaid. He seemed to be concerned about the appearance of my breast after the surgery. He said no matter how good of a job he does stitching me up I will hate my breast. I told him that I understood

he could only do so much with what I will have left. I left feeling that I may have put some doubt in his trust in the implants because I stood firm. Not many women would risk their breast to heal themselves. Time to go back to bed for a while, DGRAHAMA@... wrote: ! Hello sweet Sister ! Sorry you have been so sick ! Rogene, I gave him a great deal to look over from doctors to links. I took in a folder full of research material I'd printed from the computer, all of the things I've learned and am concerned about. He knows I've been doing my own research and I'm not walking in completely blind. His jaw dropped when I said I wanted them taken out enbloc with a complete capsulectomy. I have no doubt he's a great surgeon, he just honestly believes implants are safe. I told him he should research the implants for himself and to look into all of the women online that are suffering from the same things as I am. I'm not sure if he will, but when I left he looked less certain of his remarks. , I can see where it would be hard for a doctor to accept that implants are making women sick if they've implanted hundreds of women! I'm sure they have become close to some of their patients and wouldn't want to hurt them. Others are just in it for the money can could care less. . One PS told me, to my face that he made money putting them in and taking them out . . .and that he didn't give a **** what they did. I hope your doctor will take it on himself to get educated about implants before he implants more women. I especially worry about the children born to implanted women! Hugs, Rogene

Katy, Hi, the experiences I had with the first two surgeons were awful. Trying to explain to them I believed the implants were making me sick was like a mad woman from the asylum walked in and demand her breast be ripped open for the pure fun of it. I went a different route with this guy. I did alot of research before I went in so I would know some of the medical terminology, names of proceedures, and why these proceedures should be done. I took in a file of info I had, along with pictures of my breast before the implants and after. I think the more info you have and the more questions you ask, the more invovled they get. He still doesn't think the implants are making me sick but he does know I believe it and I think he wants to take them out just to see if I do get better. I'll be his guinea pig if he will do the surgery enbloc, that's if medicaid will pay for it, if

not I wll have to take out a loan in hopes I will recover so I can go back to work to pay off the loan. He did tell me enbloc was not necessary for me and I ask him if I wanted it done enbloc would he infact do it enbloc and he sad yes, he would do everything how I wanted it done. Now I wait for the insurance and it could be a couple of weeks. katy mclean <thesuddendeparture@...> wrote: , Good for you for perhaps making this Dr. more aware!! ,

I wish I could tell you how many doctors have

said they would do enbloc and then did not,

saying it was not necessary in their medical

judgment or that they could not do it because you

would bleed too much or it was too close to your lungs, ad infinitum.

Be very careful. I would not trust what is not in writing and maybe not that.

, I wish you the best of luck with your insurance! I'm sorry to hear that have been unable to work and I hope very much that you can begin your recovery soon. The way that you describe many of the surgeons reactions to your requests is so accurate. I feel like everytime I go and hear about how the enbloc is dangerous and all of the scary complications, I start questioning myself. Thank goodness for this group and all of the women who have had first hand experience to keep us on track and get us the information we need! Lynda, I know, I told him I wanted everything in writing. I also told him I wanted Pictures taken during the surgery. He and the nurse laughed a little bit but then he realized I wasn't kidding. I told him I didn't mean to be so nutty but it was my life I was talking about and I wanted it back, I want everything done right this time and Attorney Goldberg is waiting for my call when I'm out of surgery. Whether I have a case or not Mr. Goldberg said for me to use his name to my advantage. If I do have a case he said he would help me. Now I need the evidence and the evidence is still inside me. , I may have told you this before . . . But once again . . . I like your attitude! So many doctors would have you to believe whatever they want to say . . . You've made yourself very clear in a very nice, but firm way that he is working for you! I don't think this plastic surgeon would dare lie to you! Hugs, Rogene

You are welcome ! I hope by now you are even feeling better. I am sorry you have pms issues. I am fortunate for a hyst in 95 !

I am glad you like your Doctor. I still wonder about him doing the surgery properly. I believe I would definately have him sign something, as well as photos be taken, and you be allowed to see them after removal so you know it was done properly. I have to tell you all when I had my first enbloc removal after the huge silicone disaster, my PS did a beautiful job, and every subsequent surgery removing strips and strips of my breast tissue. Each time they looked good, small, but good ! ! , so remember, small does not = bad, only small, bad job= bad outcome.

Sending you lots of positive healing energy !

Hugs DedeSee what's free at AOL.com.

Rogene, I hope so. I hate to try to scare the doctor into making sure he does it right, but after all I've been through I have no other choice. It's hard when you can't trust any doctor. As far as the appearance of my breast go, I've excepted the very worst. At this point I'm o.k. with mutilation as long as I get my life back. My breast I can hide, this illness I can not. Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: I think with pictures, and the mention of her attorney, I think he will do the en bloc procedure if at all possible . . . . I am concerned about his lack of confidence in the final appearance though! The most important thing is to get them removed properly though. . . If he's challenged to get a

good outcome, he'll probably measure up. Rogene

Lynda, I know what you're saying. Doctors can tell you anything, but it doesn't mean while you're under they'll do any of what they said. Who's to know when you're out cold? All I can do is be honest with the doctor by saying, I'm scared, I can't trust anyone right now because I know something is terribly wrong and I truely believe it is the implants although I understand you disagree with me about this, but WHAT IF? What if I am sick from the implants who will help me by doing what I want, how I want it done to help me get better. Can I trust you to do the right thing? He agreed to do the surgery my way and the rest is in God's hands. Lynda <coss@...> wrote: Rogene,You are more

trusting than I am. I guess I have heard from too many women where it did not work out the way the p.s. promised.LyndaAt 08:56 PM 6/10/2007, you wrote:>,>>I may have told you this before . . .
