The other thing i wanted to bring up is, as some of you may know i am currently in my 3rd month of acupuncture and i have been going every week, and am also taking herbs everyday, but will stop the herbs once i start stims drugs. I am on a board for pregnancy /alternative therapies and there has been a lot of talk about Castor Oil packs. I guess you can buy them at your health food store or like a Whole Foods , you warm them up and apply them to your pelvic area , wrapped in flannel (like an old pair of pajama bottoms folded up). They are specifically supposed to help with adhesions in your uterus and your lining. I am going to ask Dr. Katz and my acupuncturist both, about these.

Judy-

First I want to wish you luck with the IVF- Hoping and praying that this one sticks!!!!

Now- on to me :) I'm looking for info on herbal remedies, I've read about the castoroil packs- what herbal protocol and accupuncture have you been using- I really have been thinking of going both these routes if ther were ANY info out there- seeing as I'm having surgery next week but don't lan to ttc until next year- I would like to do what I can to help my lining look good when I am ready to TTC!

, Mike, Brenna (VSD, PS- repaired 1/29/98--- typical 3 YO- YIPES!), Baby Angel born still 11/7/00 (at 21 weeks), and Riley & Snoozer the dogs

Hello and Welcome !! Sorry this note is much later than the others... sometimes I only have 5 or 10 minutes on the computer at a time. Congrats on your loss!! I'm impressed you're able to walk so much during the week - that's really great!! Enjoy the emails... some days are slow, some days are very busy :-) I look forward to getting to know you!!

~~

Hello

Hi everyoneI just joined this group yesterday and wanted to say hello. I started WW Online last week and lost 2.5 pounds. I'm finding the program easy to follow so far - I'm eating so well and not feeling deprived at all. And I've started doing some serious walking again, doing at least 4 miles a day.I like what I see on this board - seems easier ot keep connected to people that the WW boards - too many posts there to keep track of. And the downloads ar egreat.A special thank you to Zotz - I am so impressed with all you do, both on this board and the WW Online boards.Good luck to all - hope to correspond with some of you in the future.

I'm usually online, but what happens is...I put the kids to bed, then

go into the kitchen to clean up and set up the coffee for the

morning. I start putting things away and that's when I " crack " . I

don't do it when my husband is home - it's when he's on the road.

I weigh in tomorrow and I don't think I had a very good week. I

spent most of the week on the run dragging my kids (I have 2, ages 10

and 7) all over creation and grabbing whatever I could that was fast

(at least I avoided buying McD's or Burger King). Usually I'll gain

a pound, then lose 2 the next week. I lost 3 last week, so this week

will probably be a gain.

The best test will be this weekend - our church choir is having their

annual picnic and they don't usually have diet-friendly foods. I

volunteered to bring a fresh fruit salad.

I just weighed in to report to WW (I am doing WW Online) I couldn't believe it I lost 3# this week, for a total of 20# lost since 7/20/01. Lately I have been only losing 1# per week so the 3# was a pleasent suprise..

Hi Lois,

I am one of the newbies here. Just wanted to say congrats on the loss! I admire you to be able to do the online program. I wish I could, but I need the accountability of the meetings or I won't do it. <g>

Congrats and thanks for the welcome!

its getting harder and harder to keep my hopes up.

It is coming up on a yr since reversal in Nov. I know its hard, I've

baby at 10 wks, then 2nd one a very early one. I am waiting now to

se if I am pg again... I just had pg blood test done friday and I

hope to get the news today...I just don't want another let down. I

am on cd34 and 11-13dpo. It may have been too early for blood test.

But keep my fingers crossed too! HUGS, Tracie
