Hi! My name is . Welcome to the group. Many of the ladies

here have already had their TR. Others, myself included, are still

waiting for our TRs. Everyone here has been a great help to me.

I'm sure they will be for you also.

Who did your TR? And, what kind of TL did you have? That is, if

you don't mind me asking. I am scheduled to have my TR done with

Dr. Levin on August 26. That's just 17 days away. I'm very

excited. We are driving to Kentucky however, and I'm worried that I

might not feel up to the drive home.

I'm sorry that you don't feel well. Just think though, now you will

be able to TTC (trying to conceive), and soon you will have a bundle

of joy in your arms. That in itself is worth the world. Also, you

now are restored to the way God intended for all of us to be.

I hope you get to feeling better soon and good luck on TTC.

I think it is great that you care so much about that you want to try to understand. She is very lucky to have you as a friend.

Just like you lose compassion for her and want her to stop feeling sorry for herself, many of us also feel the same way. Sometimes I get so angry at myself and I wish that for one day I could stop thinking about this terrible disease and how it is affecting my life. I think about people who are much worse off and how they would give anything to be in my shoes rather than theirs.

Anger also comes as a part of the grieving process. Yes, many of us our grieving. We have lost a part of ourselves. Just 6 years ago I went on a real fun whitewater rafting trip down the Arkansas River - giving me a great memory of my husband and I. Today, there is no way I could get down to the banks to get on the raft. I used to be able to put in tons of overtime, and run a support group, and I even wrote and got published - and now it is with great effort that I write emails. So I have lost a lot - maybe not a lot to some, but a lot to me. Most of all, my energetic bursts, goofing around, and enjoying the world around me have all been distorted and never the same as they were.

So yea, sometimes we need to be hit with a 2x4 to understand that life goes on and since depression is so prevelant with many of us there can be huge dips in our life where it is difficult to focus on or find, for that matter, anything positive. But having one or people around us who care about us and can support us through it all, like you are for , is what makes us ok.

I hope we can help you learn what you want to learn and I hope that others out there are as caring as you seem to be
