Welcome to the group! We look forward to getting to know you. I just found out last night we are having our third grand child next year. Our son and his girlfriend are pregnant and getting married in 3 weeks. She has 2 girls so we will be blessed with 2 more grandchildren even sooner. I can't wait!

HI Nikki and welcome! I was initially diagnosed with a UU but turns

out I have a BU.

Some questions I asked my doctor during my first appointment when I

was dx with a UU were:

How many other women with UUs have you seen?

Can we confirm that UU is our only issue (i.e., do we have other

problems contributing to infertiliy)?

What is your initial plan for treatment?

Do you consider yourself aggressive or conservative in treatment?

I also asked lots about my UU, but it sounds like you're pretty

educated on what yours is like.

Hello, Tara.

Thanks for the questions to ask my doctor. Fortunately, my doctor

was very aggressive in treating the problems associated with UU.

Now, my focus is on child-bearing. We are about to start trying, and

I'm unsure about the issues that I need to be focused on. I would

greatly appreciate hearing from another UU woman who had a

successful pregnancy.

Trish,

Welcome. Forget the age issue. I had my last baby at age 40 and

my reversal at age 46. I have no regrets about either. Even though

I have not achieved a viable PG (YET) ... I still have hope. But if

it never happens then DH and I are okay with that too. He married me

knowing what the score was and he still loves me. And he is a very

good Father to my 2 DD's from my first marriage (ages 21 & 18) What

my TR has done is make me feel whole again and that alone is worth

even penny it cost. The bonuses that go along with that are:

A. Meeting and working with Dr Levin and his Staff.

B. The wonderful ladies that have become my friends in this group.

I am 48 and wanting a reversal done.....does anyone think that is to old

to even think about doing a TR.? I had my tubes cut and burned on the ends in

1986...I regretted having it done the day I did it.....and have cried off and

on about that throughout the years. Comments anyone! I am only about 2 to 2

and half hour drive from where Dr. Levin is located at!

though my IVF doc made it sound like I was OLD and needed this med

and that med, Dr. Levin encouraged me that I am still YOUNG...gotta
