This has been a real education for me and poor old , Harry and in particular have shown remarkable patience! I am certain that, upon occasion, all have felt that no one could possibly be that dense. When I was diagnosed at age 22 months, I told my mom I was thirsty, so she bought me a Coke. I was unconscious by the next day. she had no idea what diabetes was. Must have been a real shock when she found out she had to give me shots daily; she was also prgnant with my sister at that time.
