Guest guest
Amy, I am sorry to hear that. My husband is extremely supportive, he keeps telling me it is not your fault and you didn't ask for this hand to be dealt to you. I hope your boyfriend snaps out of it and see the light, you didn't create your uterus, it was done for you. Good luck. (unknown) Hello Everyone, I am so stressed out right now. My boyfriend and I are having serious problems, the main one being that he is so unsupportive of me and my recent medical condition ( septate uterus ). How has your significant others coped with this stuff with you and have they been supportive for you? I think I may have picked a sour apple! ANY coments are welcome! Thanks! -AMY __________________________________________________

Amy, I'm so sorry to hear this. Maybe he's just trying to find his own way of coping with it. My DH acted as if nothing was unusual when we learned of my UU. He didn't seem to show much of an interest in learning anything about it. About a week after we found out, he had a cold, so I brought him chicken soup in bed and a mug of Theraflu and a glass of OJ. He told me I was so sweet to him that he would keep me. I responded with, " Even though I'm broken? " He just smiled and said yes. It's not much of an issue with us. He knows I'll need extra support though and is fine with it. I hope your SO can find his own way to deal with the news and be there to support you. Guest guest
I think it should be okay if that's what your body told you it needs. Guest guest
Well, I step on both sides... you can eat... just don't make a huge meal if you are not truly hungry.. eat something substatial yet small, like a piece of cheese and a slice or 2 of fruit to get a carb and protein going... or a glass of milk. It is not really going to stuff your stomach, but you will start to jump your metabolism by letting your body know it can rely on being fed and fueled- at the very least in the morning... breakfast is really "break from fasting" I am not usually hungry in the morning either, but I have found for me... if I wait longer... I am hungrier thru the day. Welcome! LJ
Guest guest
- What is wrong with eating a substantial breakfast, not leading yourself past full- or neutral and bringing along a granola bar to tide you over when you do get hungry during the day? Then eat dinner when you are hungry later when you get home?- The way you are doing it now, you are ignoring your bodies signals both ways still. Not saying I am perfect... Guest guest
I agree with Jenn. It is your body and you know when and how to feed it. Perhaps you prefer eating a big meal at breakfast and then not again until evening. Sometimes I prefer to eat all day long. I eat just enough to not be hungry and then low and behold I am hungry and hour later, so I eat again. My stomach never feels completely ravished but it doesn’t feel completely full. Sometimes I like it that way. Sometimes I like one good meal at breakfast and then another at lunch and then one at dinner. Either way works just as long as we stay in the guidelines of eating and satisfaction. Vicki P. Subject: Re: (unknown) But what if you only feel true hunger once a day, as is the case for me most of the time? You say we shouldn't let more than 5 hours go before eating but then you say we should eat only when hungry? I find that the earlier I get up, the hungrier I am during the day. What I've been doing so I don't have to worry about eating until I get home for the day is eating a big breakfast, eating past full, around 7am. This enables me to go until around 4 or 5 before I get hungry again. However, if I wake up at 10am or so, I might not get hungry until 5 or 6, and then that's it. Guest guest
I don't want to have to worry about eating when I'm at school. I don't want to get hungry during class and have my stomach be growling loudly. You know what? I did this yesterday and today, and altough I eat past the time when I feel full, I don't eat until it hurts, and after about a half hour my stomach feels really good. This only happens if I eat this way in the morning; if I eat past full at night I feel terribly uncomfortable and it hurts when I breathe. I think it's because in the morning my metabolism is so much faster, my body seems to like eating substantially in the morning. That's when it's most efficient. Anyway, so I didn't get hungry until a short time after I got home, and I took care of it then. Way easier! I think this works for me. Sometimes you have to be smarter than your body, sometimes you need to plan out what's best. Say you knew you were going somewhere and wouldn't be able to eat for a long time later. You wouldn't just eat until you felt like you could stop, because then you would be in a situation where you would get hungry and wouldn't be able to eat. So you eat a little bit more and just get hungry later. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.Lauriegombar wrote: - What is wrong with eating a substantial breakfast, not leading yourself past full- or neutral and bringing along a granola bar to tide you over when you do get hungry during the day? Then eat dinner when you are hungry later when you get home?- The way you are doing it now, you are ignoring your bodies signals both ways still. Not saying I am perfect...
