Immunizations

My oldest son had his first immunizations. One day he turned blue and quit

breathing, he was about 4 months old. after that I did my research. My next two

boys never got there immunizations, they are now 7 and 9. It is a big lie that

you " Are required " to have the immunizations, in the U.S.. Read the bottom of

the form, there is a section that says you " oppose " them, just get them

notorized and schools have been leaving me alone about it. We moved to PA from

MN, both schools/states have not fought me on it. Hope this helps! Oh, also if

they weren't (immunizations)damaging why do we have to sign a form to not hold

them responsible if there is damage to our children. How crazy is that!

My SIL is worried about immunizations in a child so young - especially since we

had a nephew die after his 4 month immunizations a healty happy little boy-

within 24 hours he was in the hospital and before 48 hours hit he was gone. So

I understand my SIL's worry - he says when she is older - but now he just feels

she is too little and with the nephew dying like he did (and yes it was a

reaction from the shots) he just wants to wait till she is older. He also has

concern with the amount of mercury in the injections - he feels that if they

took the mercury out of the vetrinary injections they should also do that in the

human injections - as mercury is not good for us.

He is trying his best to be a responsible parent - and going against the norm

isn't easy.

I will have to ask him where he got the information about Europe - and let him

know that they still give immunizations in the UK.

If your SIL wants to " go against the norm " he needs to get his facts

correct.

You can request mercury free shots at your doctor, they are widely available.

ALso, as a teacher, children are not allowed to attend public school without up

to date immunizations, we disallow childrne all the time until they catch up. I

do believe we over immunize in this country but I have also lived in a place

where immunization was uncommon, and saw many children sick with childhood

illnesses that we never see in this country.

It depends on the state. Many states have some type of religious, medical and

philosophical exemptions on the immunizations, which public schools are required

to accept. (private schools can choose not to accept them, though many do).

I've done a lot of research on immunizations and am very interested in the

topic (am currently deciding whether or not to immunize my own kids) and am

wondering if the childhood illnesses you saw were due to lack of immunizations

or to other conditions of third world living, such as water-borne diseases or

general lack of sanitation. Just curious.

My children recieved all of their shots EXCEPT the chicken pox shot. There

were many downlfalls to that one that I didnt see as something I should put them

thru. My oldest son has had chicken pox but my 12 yr never has and he has been

around LOTS of cases of Pox.. My hubby worked on a peds floor in the military

and never got them either...

My daughter is 5 and has autism. She is mercury toxic from the shots.

Even though mercury was no longer in shots by her birth, it was still

on the shelves of doctor offices. My daughter has low levels of

glutathione which remove toxins from the body. So even though she did

not get a lot of mercury, it was too much for her body. Today the

vaccines no longer contain mercury but thermisol is still used to

clean the containers. It is trace amounts but may be too much for

some. It is suggested that the shots but given one at a time with one

month between to allow the body to recover. My daughter received a

waiver due to personal reasons when starting kindergarten. I would

consider getting boosters when her body can handle it. Right now she

takes glutathione to rid her system of toxins. But she still has food

intolerances and leaky gut so she is not ready.

Do you feel responsible for those your daughter may affect? We vaccinate a

nation to protect a nation. Your daughter is not exposed to many, many

illnesses because others are vaccinated.

HI beth,

I will let my sil know this - See if the dr would have JUST told him this - then

the whole scene at the dr's would haven't happened.

My children were homeschooled for five years until my mother became ill - and I

believe the kids plan on homeschooling as well. When I did put my children into

the public school system they were two grades above their age level and had no

problems interacting with the other children.

I do worry about the issue of immunizations - but it is not my call. I just do

my best to support the kids on their decisions as paretns.

Thank you for the information.. :)

Oh (((((((((((())))))))))))))))

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. One of my dear friends in Texas has

a son about my son's age (almost 22 now) and he is autistic. I helped babysit

him and when he went to school, I would sometimes be called in to substitute his

class - He will always have a special place in my heart.

I have printed all of the information you gave to give to my SIL and daughter.

Thank you so much for sharing your story - and I will keep you and your daughter

in my prayers.

My daughter CANNOT receive any shots at this time. If you want to

blame someone blame the companies that continue to use thermosil to

clean the containers between batches. They could clean with something

that does not contain mercury. If I give my daughter her boosters now

she would lose all the progress she has made and become severely

autistic. Do you really think I should feel guilty about not putting

poison in my child so you can sleep better at night? Also no one gets

titers checked before vaccinating because insurance does not pay for

it and the pharmaceutical companies want everyone to vaccinate on

their schedule. People who do pay to check the titers discover that

sometimes they are still immune and don't need a booster. Other

people find that they were never immune. Vaccines do not cover 100%.

mercury toxic from the shots.

It was some of both, as there were children suffering from simple diarreah based

on unsanitary water, but polio was also prevalent. I agree parents should do

there own research to see risks and benefits. If your child caught the disease,

is it better or worse then potential dangers of the vaccine. My former boss did

not vaccinate her children (they were in Catholic school so didn't have any

problem with the school). Her son caught what turned out to be mumps but the

hospital hadn't seen a case in so long so it was difficult to diagnose him. .

Just make sure your doctors know if the children are not vaccinated! I didn't

know about the waivers, I work with mostly immigrant children so the shots they

come in with are often different and they have to stay out a few days or weeks

until they update. As I said, I think we do overvaccinate, but if mercury is

the issue most vaccines are now available without, the danger is probably worse

from what we eat on a daily basis. As far as exposing young children to disease

with a live vaccine (are any of them still live?) that's a different issue.

With my own children I will probably examine it vaccine by vaccine.

The measles mumps and rubella vaccine (MMR) is a live virus as well

as the chickenpox vaccine (varacella). I also think the flu mist in

I feel your pain and sympathize. My 9yo son has autism, as well. I

applaud you for your research and efforts. It takes a strong person

to go against the grain, not accepting the standard answer most give.

You know the one - there's no real treatment for autism except

behavior modification. My son saw Dr. Amy Holmes when he was 2yo.

Today he attends mainstream classes and is such a joy to be around.

He will never be " normal " . His brain was damaged in a way that it

will never fully recover. But at least he doesn't bite himself, beat

his head in the floor or poop bloody food anymore. We are so very far

from there now. I want you to know that there is hope. My son can

read and write and make A's on a standard spelling test. Things I

never expected. He has friends and for the most part

is " indistinguishable from his peers " .

I have never posted on this board. I came here mainly to gain insight

and wisdom from those suffering with RA (I lurk, listen and learn).

But this recent thread compelled me to post. This is such a

controversial issue and touches me deeply. Until someone has

experienced this it is quite difficult to understand. It took many

hours of networking, investigation, self education and blood, sweat

and tears to truly make sense of it all. Please do not take me wrong.

I am not anti-vaccination. I am pro-information. I don't want to be

led to believe that something is perfectly safe when there's a

possibility that it could cause a problem. Let me make my own

informed decisions. I highly recommend the book by

Cave, " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children's

Vaccinations " . It's not anti-vaccination, either. But will help any

parent establish an informed immunization strategy for their child.

FWIW, I had 6 amalgam fillings placed during my first trimester with

my son. It seemed that since the birth of my daughter just ten months

prior my teeth deteriorated. I had never received dental work to this

degree before. Just regular cleanings. Today, my daughter is an honor

roll, typical 10yo.

Silver fillings...there's a whole 'nother can of worms.

Take Care,

Darla

Lynn,

My kids are on track with their shots (according to the " Dr. G schedule " ),

including that we didn't give my 2 year old the chickenpox vaccine per Dr.

G's recommendation (He doesn't like that one unless they're an adolescent

boy who hasn't had the pox or the vaccine yet... then he would consider...

not sure about adolescent girls regarding that vaccine).

My 2 year old daughter was the only one that we knew to do " everything

right " for (as far as my being on the diet during pregnancy and

nursing, keeping her on the diet after being weaned, spacing out

vaccines, etc.). She is doing gloriously well... cognitively and

physically. If only I could go back and do it for the ones I didn't know to

do it for... the ones that Dr. G is trying to help now. It just breaks my

heart.

Interesting, in most state, if not all you can state that you do not wish

to vaccinate due to religious belief and the school can not deny you.

Diseases are propagated by poor living conditions and sanitation. That's

not an issue in this county at this time. If you don't think autism is

real and vaccine related then you need to do more research.

We vaccinate to early and way too much in this country. The same stands

with our animals. I have four cats that are chronically sick because of a

vaccine! I know several people with autistic children.

There is good research which shows that vaccines damage the thymus

permanently - making the individual susceptible to Th-2 skewed

chronic diseases later in life - everything from cancer to arthritis.

That's all in addition to the immediate damage to the immune system,

and the effects of whatever adjuvant is used (not excluding autism).

So this is all proven fact.

Of course the drug companies make billions per year on these

dangerous and useless vaccinations that don't work anyway. But THEY

will not tell you to avoid them. THEY are the ones that lobby for

" annual vaccines " and every other excuse to make money from them - it

is NOT doctors or researchers that do this.

Doctors are propagandized by the drug companies - but good research

shows how dangerous they are.

Right now I have dangerous deadly chronic disease - Th-2 skewed type

- in my case Cushing's syndrome - all because my mother thought

vaccines were a good idea for me as a young kid. Your poor kids have

no say. Nor did I. The damage is permanent.

You can not undo it.

Namaste,

Irene

Every state has the legal option to refuse them as a parent - and

still have the kids attend school.

Don't let the school try to pretend otherwise.
