It's iffy, but I think probably a little something would be showing,

even in that position. If painting in the genitals was considered

to be in bad taste, perhaps he chose poses like that to

hide them.

In animal husbandry the reproductive equipment is only of interest in

that it works. It's the end result that counts; conformation,

intelligence, spirit, performance (athletic wise), etc. If the

offspring has undiserable qualities consistently the male looses the

equipment or its life depending on the culture. And no, in that pose

the genitals would not be showing. The penis is usually kept " tucked

up " in the sheath for protection, generally extending only to urinate

or in the presence of a female in heat. Excuse me if I've popped any

bubbles.

If you've actually seen a stallion at full extension, calling it penis

envy would be like a woman being envious of a say ZZZ cup. Ducedly

awkward to tote around unless the rest of the body is proportionate.

Doubt such a man would find many if any willing partners.

Well I'm not psychic but it wasn't to hard to extrapolate from what

makes me happy to what might make other men happy <weg>.

It's hard to pin down exactly what we're discussing here - who

talks about what when with whom present? I think that men

are more likely to just talk about sex - women are more likely

to discuss relationships, and sex might be part of that

discussion, but sex is not so interesting in and of itself.

What do women really think, though? That's a good

question.

I dunno, my conversations with women have been WAY more raunchy than

those with men, even men I was sleeping with. Get a group of women

together with no kids and...oy. it can be bad. Men would die of

embarrassment.

A guy I used to date told me that guys don't talk about women anywhere

near like women talk about men. He said that, for instance, if a guy

among other guys mentioned he had had a date the night before, the

standard response was a low-key, " didja get any? " followed up with a

yea or nay and the subject was then dropped, more or less, and that

when a guy not familiar with this protocol persisted in providing

details, he would meet with an awkward silence until he figured it out

and was thus socialized. On the other hand, this guy said he would

overhear his ex-wife and her friends together or on the phone going

over every little thing re: the guys in their lives/their

anatomies/proclivities. He thought it was ironic.

No, I don't know if this behavior applies outside of his social circle.

But FWIW he was a very hot, virile guy that probably had lots of

stories to tell.

Also, I talk about sex much more with guys than women and I'm usually

the raunchy one.

Yeah ... maybe that's my problem, too. I can't remember the

last time I was part of ANY group of women, let alone a

raunchy one. Another factor is that, many years ago, I

decided that I just wasn't going to talk about intimate

happenings outside of the relationship in which they

occurred. I might talk about my own experiences as long

as others couldn't guess who else I was talking about. To

have sex and then talk about it with other people seems

like the height of bad taste, and very inconsiderate.

Raunchy joking and talk that isn't about anyone in

particular is another matter. But like , I think

I do that more with men than women.
