I know that there are I think three types of olive oil. reg. oil, virgin,

and extra virgin olive oil what is the difference//? cause I would like

to know when I go out and buy it , then I will know and not get the wrong

one

Yes, that did helped. well I'm a tea drinker. so I would need to

read the box if it contained carbs. and you mentioned eggs they have a carb

too? or wait you didn't mentioned eggs.

The difference in the olive oils are basically in their flavor. Also they

vary in price from low price to high price. We use the extra virgin olive

oil, since it has the least effect upon the flavor of the foods that you put

it on or cook a food item in. All of the olive oils contain no carbs and

around 14 grams of fat per table spoonfull.

I like the flavor of all the different olive oils.

So get the kind that suits your taste and pocketbook.

I love both hot tea and hot coffee. Yes, I did mention eggs. Some people

like to quibble over an egg carb content, and it will depend on which

nutritionist , which dietician and which other person you wish to believe.

Some say an egg contains1 gram of carb, some say two eggs contain 1 gram of

carb, but all of them seem to agree on one thing; it makes no difference how

the egg is prepared, fried, boiled, baked or raw. The egg's carb content

may also depend on the size of the egg, but I wouldn't worry about that. As

long as you get within 2 or 3 grams of the meal's total carb gram content,

you are doing pretty good.

For me if I get the munchies a snack of a boiled egg will solve the craving

and I have only consumed 1 gram of carb or if you like maybe 2 grams of

carbs.

Hi there,

The different grades of olive oil indicate the amount of impurities in

the oil.

The extra virgin is the oil which comes out of the olives first and the

just plain old regular is the oil which was the last to be pressed out

subsequently it will contain whatever impurities happen to be present

such as flavor derived from the crushed pulp and skins. The extra virgin

is, for the most part, a lot more pure oil from the olive.

Theresa it is simple. Read the carb grams per serving on the food you eat,

or have your boyfriend read it to you, and dont' go over a total of 30

grams per meal to start with. Take your sugar before you eat, post the

result to the list. Take your sugar 2 hours past eating, post your result to

the list. We will look at your sugar readings and help you get them in range

by adjusting up or down your total carb grams ate at each meal.

eggs and cheese are virtually carb free items. same with tuna. Pretty much

any meat is carb free. Ham, turkey, tuna, eggs, cheese, pepperoni, etc.

so one egg is 1 carb? and if I'm allowed four per week or let's just say two

in one meal it would be two carbs cause I'm haveing two eggs right? but

I'm not having all them all at once.

I know , but which is the best one for me. I really don't want to taste

Yes, think of it this way to be safe as far as carb counting is concerned.

one egg equals 1 carb.

As far as I am concerned a person can eat as many eggs as they like as often

as they like.

Personally, I eat about a dozen of eggs per week unless I am served those

deviled kind. Then I eat more.

yes, 30 grams for breakfast, 30 grams for lunch, and 30 grams for dinner.

Make certain to check your sugar before your meal, post the result to the

list, check your sugar 2 hours past eating, post your result to the list. Do

this for every meal and in 3 weeks or less we will have you regulated and

feeling great! BTW eat your meals 4 to 5 hours apart.

correct, eggs don't spike your blood sugar nor does cheese, tuna, turkey,

ham, fish, etc. meats are pretty much carb free. If you want to snack in

between meals, get a piece of lettuce and make you a wrap out of lettuce...

I.E turkey, cheese, and wrap it in lettuce and eat it for probably no more

than 3 grams of carbs which will not spike your blood sugar.

Still want to snack after that? Eat you some dill pickles, olives, or pork

rines which have 0 grams of carbs. BTW dont' eat sweet pickles or butter

pickles since they have sugar in them, only eat dill pickles.

until I get batteries for my meter. I have to depend on people to take me

shopping and they are the hard kind to find.those round ones. I have a

talking meter.

I see. Well, keep us updated and for now, try to eat low carb foods like we

are suggesting. You really need to get that blood monitor working ASAP since

it is your number 1 weapon in this batttle aside from controlling appetite

snapple makes diet teas in several flavors, such as peach, raspberry,

raspbeery -kiwi and others.

I think Snapple makes diet peach tea, and they may make some other diet

teas. Most of the time I brew my own tea, so I am an infrequent diet ready

made tea drinker.

I was wondering if I should post my diet on here , and you guys can help up

with a better one? I went to the diabetic nurse and it went well. she

suggested that when taking the glucophatge in the evening, take it at bed

time with a snack. cause I would get a better result in the morning.
