Guest guest
that's a good idea! I should try that! cause at times I'm not really a breakfast person. I thought of a way to make hamburgers, but haven't tried it. is to use romaine lettuse in place of the bun. has any one tried that? Guest guest
I agree with you , but for a different reason. When I was five years old my older brother said, " Here take this sardine and put it in your mouth. Now flip it to the right. Now flip it to the left. Doesn't it feel like it is alive? Guest guest
I think Snapple makes diet peach tea, and they may make some other diet teas. Most of the time I brew my own tea, so I am an infrequent diet ready made tea drinker. Guest guest
one thing you can do Theresa is eat your hamburger as an open face sandwich. Pitch the bun and use a fork/knife to eat it and have some veggies with it like green beans or a salad etc. For mashed potatoes, most use cauliflower and mash it up and lace it with butter/salt/pepper and it really does taste good. After a while, you will swear it tastes like mashed potatoes for real all kidding aside. Guest guest
ah tuna is very low carb and good to eat! eat as much tuna as you want but the crackers, you should have no more than 5. For example, your lunch could be 5 crackers with as much tuna on it as you want, a nice salad, jello for dessert, and a diet tea! Guest guest
canned veggies have to be water based veggies like green beans, spinich, etc. and can not be, for example, corn, peas, etc. Ya, just look on the cans for anything 10 grams or less per serving. Guest guest
BTW Theresa wanted to post this hear so you get it... watch out for low fat foods, they are low fat because they replace the fat with carbs. Your best bet is to get the real thing, not the low fat, because it is / has not as many carbs in it. Compare a low fat thing to the regular thing at the grocery store and look at the carbs. You will see that the low fat one has more carbs in it. Regards, Re: 's time I agree with you , but for a different reason. Guest guest
Crystal has noticed that some of the " low sugar " stuff is also higher in carbs. Just because it is a diet thing does not mean it is good for Diabetics. The Ancient One... Guest guest
correct, they are low sugar because they remove the sugar and replace it with carbs just like low fat stuff. LOL and carbs raise the blood sugar since they break down to sugar in the blood *sigh*. Just recall, low whatever it is, is low because the whatever has been replaced with carbs. Guest guest
that was because the dietician you seen was counting it as 1 serving of meat. I.E was using the exchange diet. You are not worried about exchanges, you are worried about carbs since that is what effects your blood sugar. So, eat as much tuna as you like and even put it on celery if you want to skip the carbs in the crackers.
