Hmm its tough to tell. Heavy metal issues are so similar to lyme symptoms.

My urine has tested high for mercury and theyre doing a more sensitive test

with my hair now for heavy metals. To treat based on symptoms is tough, it

could be either or causing them. I have read that the 41 igg test could be

reactive and not because of lyme? I dont know. This is all so confusing.

Why not go on the lymebuhner website or Europeanlyme site both are smart. Doug

hello all,

I need some help. Hopefully someone will know. I went to a new doctor who

is very thorough and she tested me for 8 strains of lyme. She said one

came

back reactive, 41 kd IGG. And tested positive for m. pneumoniae ab igg

(mycoplasm). The rest were non reactive, had 8 strains tested. Does anyone

know

if this is definitely positive of lyme, or if something else could cause

this to be reactive? I dont want to go on months of antibiotics if Im not

sure because I thought the heavy metals were more my issue. If anyone

knows

about lyme or these tests, any advice would be really appreciated.

thanks,

tiffany

I would ask this question on the lymenet.org forums. There, you can get a lot

of responses.

I found this explanation of the bands in a western blot. According to this (and

my memory about these test results), your results are significant. The 41 band

IS definitely indicative of Lyme infection.

Below is the breakdown of the Western Blot bands:

9 cross-reactive for Borrellia

12 specific for Bb

18 unknown

20 cross-reactive for Borrellia

21 unknown

22 specific for Bb, probably really the 23/25 band

23-25 outer surface protein C (OspC), specific for Bb

28 unknown

30 unknown; probably an outer surface protein; common in European and

one California strain

31 outer surface protein A (OspA), specific for Bb

34 outer surface protein B (OspB); specific for Bb

35 specific for Bb

37 specific for Bb

38 cross-reactive for Bb

39 is a major protein of Bb flagellin; specific for Bb

41 flagellin protein of all spirochetes; this is usually the first to appear

after a Bb infection and is specific for all Borrellia

45 cross-reactive for all Borellia

50 cross-reactive for all Borrellia

55 cross-reactive for all Borrellia

57 cross-reactive for all Borrellia

58 unknown but may be a heat-shock Bb protein

60 cross reactive for all Borrellia

66 cross-reactive for all Borrelia, common in all bacteria

83 specific antigen for the Lyme bacterium, probably a cytoplasmic membrane

93 unknown, probably the same protein in band 83, just migrates differently in

some patients

The IgM typically tests for a more recent infection (although it has been found

that in long term infections, the IGM will be reactive and the IGG will not.

This is because the immune system is so compromised) and the IgG a longer

standing one. Bands 31 and 34 are Lyme specific bands. Band 39 is a Lyme

specific band. Band 41 is often the first to show and yours is positive. I would

ask your doctor for a copy of the test results so that you can see it for

yourself.

A good lyme literate doctor would know that the results are significant. You

can find such doctors by asking on lymenet.org forums.

While MMS/AOT has gotten a lot of press in this group, there is no proof that

taking this product is safe. It may kill lyme, " deal " with heavy metals

(although I have no idea how), but no ones knows what else it does to the

healthy tissue in the body. People may take it and be 'fine', but people take

chemo therapy and become " fine " also.

On this week's Natural Newsletter (Mike , Health Ranger) there is a video

of a woman who cured herself of Lyme Disease, this got the most votes in a

contest for best Personal Transformation. Havent watched it, but I know a few

people on here are trying MMS & other therapies for Lyme, just thought this may

be of interest to them. If you log onto www.naturalnews.com you will see it &

you can also subscribe to the daily newsletter.

If you take antibiotics you will be worse, especially in the long run.. If you

take MMS/AOT (Wil markets as AOT: bodyelectrician.com), it will kill lyme and

any other pathogens in your body. I take it and it is cheap, natural and working

wonders in me and my daughter, and millions globally!! Can't recommend Wil as a

naturo healer, and the MMS/AOT, enough..
