I like Tom's idea of using a note instead of confrontation and

blaming it on the floor instead of the people. Of course, that's

assuming the people are nice. If that doesn't work you'd have to get

more aggresive.

thank goodness musicians don't have that effect on me anymore! It was

like being an NT and ruled by your emotions and being taken in by an

image and not being able to see that it was not real! How can they

stand it?! :)

Iron Maiden did a song version of the "Ancient Mariner" poem. Its a great song really. Iron Maiden actually had talent with its instruments. Other good songs by them are Aces High, The Trooper, Revelations, and a few others.

like " Invaders " and some of the other filler Steve have put on

the albums. My all-time favorite is " Children of the damned " .

She said she was going to be retiring in a year or two and didn't know how she would be able to stand being around the house all day. I told her to think about that and understand that I feel at least that strongly about being around people all day, or even just 8 hours.

I used to love 'Children of the damned' haven't heard it in years now.

The 'Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son' album inspired me to write a story

when I was younger called 'MoonChild', I still have the story knocking

around somewhere.

As for concept Albums, there was one by Sabbat (I think that was the

name of the band), they based their album on a book called 'Way Of The

Wryd(sp?)' that was based on an old manuscript and a good read :-)

Gee,. this makes sense. You are already working, although it's a little different than the typical employment. But she retires, and YOU"RE the one to get a second job? Retirees (my parents both) are generally more busy because they can do what they want when they want. My mom got the idea to organize trips to Italy for couples, but mostly groups of women for a week at a time. They stay in a villa, and tour a wine cellar, option of hot air ballooning, and can take painting lessons. It's a full fledged business, but it's also a passion.

Missed this too. I would try to just knock on their door and politely inform

them that you can hear them walking around and ask if it's possible for them

to be a bit quieter at night.

Sometimes all it takes is for them to become aware that you can hear them

for them to want to try and keep noise down - if they are nice people.

Others may feel offended, tell you to buzz off and instead start making

extra noise just to annoy you. In which case you should complain to the

landlord and request that they implement reasonable quietude at night. Or

you could inform the landlord directly if you wish your complaint to be

anonymous.

well with most people... I've never interacted with them (not even

the year they have be there. I had hoped they would get quieter with
