I use to be but I had to quit since my son gets up at 5:30AM even on

the weekends. The days of sleeping off a hangover are long gone.

Diane,

A lot of people vent on email lists, that doesn't mean that they don't clean up nice when they go to visit their legislatures. They don't run into their legislators office dragging their knuckles and grunting...

Some people are meek, some are aggressive and some are middle of the road. All these personalities have their place. If I rememebr correctly I had a huge dissagreement with on another list --lol I hope I have the right john (ricks autism-politics list? or am I thinking of someone else? anyway...) has said things here that I do not agree with, but that doesn't mean I tune out all he says. And I certainly appreciate the info he has given me on ALA, etc.

In this world we need extreme views to challange the norm. Some people need to see these views expressed in calm fashion, and some people need someone to get all up in their grill before they can hear what is being said.

--I am often one of these people.

On lists such as this, its best to learn the personalities of people and proceed accordingly. if offends you so, best to just delete his posts. OR take the approach of getting to know everyone and learning to appreciate all opinions. Even the seemingly Neanderthal ones.

My thought on the aggressive bully question, as an extremely male brained chick --it seems to me that most women "mother" their kids to protect them while men are more likely to bully and fight to protect their kids. What you see here is the men protecting their kids. Cut the boys some slack.
