Guest guest
I like to do cardio on upper body days. My glycogen stores of pretty depleted after the weight training. So when I hit the stairmaster or eliptical after upper body I'm somewhat depleted of readily accessible glycogen and my body starts hitting up the fat stores. I hit my 10's in cardio just as well, because a " 10 " is relative to the situation. It will never be the same " 10 " I hit yesterday or last week, or the one I'll hit tomorrow and next week. It's a " 10 " for today and how I feel and how strong I am TODAY. If I feel like shit cuz I'm sick then my 10 is whatever a 10 is for when I'm sick. I give it my all no matter what. Do you follow me? -
Guest guest
I work the same way Nic. Some days I just don't have the energy to get the same " 10 " as I did the day before. BTW, My work schedule is so unpredictable that I do cardio every day I can, in the morning then do weights after I get off. Some days I have to go in early so I miss the cardio and other days I work late and miss the weights. So I aim for every day and somehow get enough in. Guest guest
Well, I tried an experiment with and exercise. Over the years I've had various exercise tapes (that I've done for a while and forgotten or gotten rid of) and always tried to do them with me. Well, I went looking for Wiggles (kind of a kid's action tape) and found instead Kid's Tae Bo (that's a combination of Tae Kwan Do, Boxing and dance. I bought it (for about $18) and brought it home. I did great on it, but wasn't interested very much. I figure I'll just keep doing it and telling him it's mine, and eventually he'll start doing it with me. Problem is that I did it for one day, and it exercised my stomach and back so much they hurt the next day! :-( Guess I need more exercise. Maybe it'll do me as much good as him. We noticed that is getting real bad posture....almost sway-backed. I wanted to find something that did the stomach muscles. It used to be that his stomach muscles were great, just not the back or legs. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Guest guest
is just as bad about walking anywhere too, Im going to call OT this Friday about some possible wheel chair or something for when we do go places, he wont even walk in our local fareway(grocery store),insists he must ride in the cart and they are rather small, nowhere for food, plus i cant really lift him anymore, then if i try to make him walk or just continue on my way shopping he will sit on the floor or in a few minutes get up and try to go out to the car, I have to get the Rx from the doc for our handicap parking so he doesnt wander around the parking lot (he has b4, we found him out there looking for the van all we did was let go of his hand to ut the merchandis on the counter and turned towards him and he was GONE!!! uuuugh, he has tried to leave school again several times last week too, and its not even warm yet. uuugh, need to check the calender for a full moon. shawna. ===== shawna __________________________________________________
