Hi Vicki,

I always have a sense of anticipation in the New Year, waiting to open it

like a gift (which it is), having the surprises unfold before me that 2004 will

bring. I hope today finds you feeling better and more upbeat for your new

year! I know you were sad last night and feeling alone. I think we have all

faced New Year's Eves just like that...sometimes it helps to not have the

highest

expectations, just knowing that you and your son were together and you hubby

was working hard for all of you should bring a warm glow of comfort to your

heart. Sometimes life is what we make of it (you know -- lemons made lemonade)!

Anyhoo, I hope the New Year brings you bountiful blessings!

Hugs and blessings, Ann

Pat, thank you for a laugh. Not at you, but at me. When you put the [sp]

after " calsium " , I knew there was something wrong with the way the word

looked, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure it out. It sure sounded

right when I pronounced it the way you spelled it. I had to get the

dictionary! Only French is worse for its spelling than English. It's just

fun, phun, phoughn. But it's enough to drive one psychotic, sighkotic,

sythecoughtik. LOL

Oh, I do miss my brain! If you see it wandering around some place, please

dust it off and send it home. I'm lonely without it. LOL

Jim

PS It only has " c " s in it.

Hi Barbara, I just got your email, you said you wanted to talk to me about the oxicotton. I don't take it anymore since Dr. B said that all opiods had to be out of your system. After the three weeks of Hell going off all that crap I'll never take it again. I live in Calif. and am about 45 min. away from Sac. I told my husband I was going to the Capital and am going to waite or make a stink until I get to talk to Arnold, our Governor, and see if he can call Oprah or something. As I mentioned before Bill at Dr. B office sent the info the both Montel and Oprah, Bill said they didn't seem that interested. What a shame. I don't work and have a lot of time so I can sit down at the capital a long time and if I get arrested I'll just call the news station and tell them why! They aren't going to get rid of me that easy.barbara ferrell <broxton2003@...> wrote: --- Aletha Wittmann <Aletha@...> wrote:> Hi Telsha,> > I am so glad that you found out about LDN and have> the insight to give it a go. Hi Telsha,

The Northern California LDN people should get together. My son goes to Sac State. We are located near Salinas and Monterey.

the premier autism panel was very helpful in showing me my son had serious viral

issues. if im aware of the problem(s), i can fine tune his biomedical

treatments better. it is expensive but IMO, worth it (for us that is).

Just to clarify, it is " puredakota " who is having an operation soon.

I don't think that " puredakota " has given us her/his name. (Though I

could easily be wrong and maybe she is another Vicki on the board.)

I will probably have my operation sometime Aug-Oct.

Carolyn,

Thanks for your post and I'm glad Cameron is doing well.

I live right near Stanford so that Stanford hospital would be an

easier choice than UCSF, but I am trying not to let convenience

influence me too much.

I also would have thought open surgery would let the surgeon see

much better. Thus, I was surprised Dr. Morton said the laproscopic

way allowed a better view of the esophagus.

I am a little worried that if I have problems after the surgery I

will blame myself for choosing the wrong surgeon. But I usually end

up making pretty good decisions--as you implied--one option often

just " feels " better. So, I will ponder it some more and then decide.
