The nice thing is, though, that a small amount of chocolate goes a long way

in the early stages. You'll probably never eat the quantities you once did!

Of course everyone is different!

hmm...my sis was 360, has very bad lungs, etc,, and was able to get approved

by PCP even though it was a very life threatening operation. She has lost 180

pounds and is HEALTHY! We gotta get your friend some help in the PCP

Vicki at the meeting when everyone brings in clothes, I was helping

unpack on of s bags ..Thinking I was pulling out a neat colored

shirt,lo and behold it was a skirt,so I ask in a nice loud

voice when did he wear this skirt, and it went from there...lol

Of course it was some of his wifes clothing...He was a very good

sport about it all...but everytime I wear the skirt, I will think

of him and how cute he would look in it...LOL

wow- thats quite a challenging recovery. im so glad you are doing

well and are happy with your decision. my frustration is not being

able to eat regular food yet- but at 3 weeks, its to be expected. i

saw your pics and youre darling. Im glad you got through the hard

parts, because as a newly post op, i know it can be frustrating and

tiring to even do the simple things in life. God Bless and congrats

on your success.

Your post worries me. Because I keep fighting to have this surgery

and keep trying to think positive, but I am a very depressed and have

been suicidal before just in my regular life since teen years. So how

serious are you when you say your immediate recovery was so bad you

were close to suicidal? I think this is and issue I want more

information on...Thanks,

Sister your singing to the choir on this one...I can soooo relate.

In fact I think I have a " slight " insite to how an anorexic can see

themselves as FAT when they are dying of starvation...I might

have " fat Flashes " ...but what make me different from an

anorexic...I'm not afraid to eat.
