Dear Sheri,

(This is Tricia...the TLC might have you momentarily

confused)

So good to hear from you!! Happy you enjoyed your

trip out west. :o)

We miss you very much, but also know that there

are many folks who are having a bit of financial

problems at this time. Some very serious. Hang

tough my friend!

Hoping your mom will continue to be okay, even

with her " tub tumble. "

Please know I think of you often, and the enjoyable

e-mails we shared also the chats!

Your friend in hot, humid Wisconsin, Tricia

-- Hi Everyone!

Hi All; just thought I'd drop a line to let you know all is well. I

will read the posts as far back as I can but I truly hope everyone is

surviving happily!

I had a very nice trip out west, but I didn't get the chance to meet

Cat yet, but if the job market doesn't get better we might be moving

out west in the summer. I like the city it is very beautiful and

clean but I hate to leave home if I don't have too! So we will see

what fate has in store for me.

I really miss everyone and I hope all is well.

Hello to all the newbies - glad you found such great new friends and

info!

Take Care

Ma is good but she had a little tumble out of the tub the other day -

she is ok though,

Love Sheri

My computer usage is limited now, my friend also got rid of her

computer.

Sheri,

I just came back to the group also. I was wondering where you were. Chrissy

and I both miss you. I miss the chats and the updates from the ones I couldn't

make. We completed the move to Texas and It's been great. We love it here and

even though its flooding all around us......... so far we are ok. I hope we can

catch up soon, you have truly been missed.

Hello Suzie.

I am so sorry to hear that Chrissy has been doing so

poorly. Last I read, she was enjoying her summer like

a normal kid. I pray things will improve and this is

only a temporary thing. Let her know she is in our

thoughts and prayers.

,

Thank you, She was doing so well, and we definately enjoyed ourselves. This

waiting game is just killing me. Every day its something new. Yesterday her

ankle swelled up like a balloon after a morning at the mall. I kept asking her,

" Are you sure you didn't twist it or something " just hoping (still in denial)

that its not back. We are always out doing things, I guess its time to take it

easy and rent some movies and stuff. Now her back, jaw, neck, and ankle are

hurting and swollen. She goes in Thursday for another blood test. I am really

not sure what to think, but either way the arava seems to be losing its

effectiveness. I will keep you posted.

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers,

Suzie

I was going to call you tomorrow to make sure you were

still alive! LOL! You disappeared and had me worried

something was wrong. How's your neck and hip doing?

Sounds like you've been pretty busy getting ready for

your mom to move in. The crock pot should be fine. I

think that's about the size of mine. I'll email you

some recipes tomorrow after the kids leave. Too late

for me to dig them out now.

Glad to see you back!

Hi Colleen!

Thanks for thinking of me!! Neck is pretty well healed, not really any

problems there but the hip is still bothering me! The incision isn't so bad but

whenever I do alot of walking (and that's not really much), it's like a muscle

going down into my right leg starts aching really bad. I feel like I'm ok to do

just about anything (Superwoman!!) but once I get out of the house and try, I

feel like such a wimp! I usually have to come home and lay down and take it

easy for awhile. BUT, there is a plus to this, and that is maybe I'll be able to

be out of work a bit longer!! I'm really lovin' being home, not really too

bored but this week when it cools down a bit, I'm gonna make some candles and

may play with the soap, yeah!! I hate the thought of having to go back to work

especially since my mom will be here and I know we'll have plenty of things to

do and places to go!! Love those Friday garage sales!!

Talk to ya later! Kathy

Hey Hey Kim; so good to see you post but I worry about your being

afraid. As you know my Still's has been predominatley in remission

for years. This past year is the most I have worried about my health

in a long time but you know also that worry can be detrimental also.

It's good that you are talking about it though because that takes

some of the power away from the fear and this dragon. Being in

remission does not mean you never have symptoms again and if you do

get exposed to something which is bound to happen in this world it

may have some of your Still's raising it's head, but I usually find

it does not throw me into a major flare. At these times is when I

get some TLC for myself and just try and relax and snuggle in being

nice to myself. Honey I hope your feeling better real soon.

I can't remember if you were going to Vegas or not? Anyway it is so

good to read a post from you and I would love to visit soon again,

take care, Melt

Hi Kim,

It was really good to hear from you. writing about your swollen glands

is familiar to me, it is so sore and such a nuisance, not to mention the

worry that a flare may be coming on! We have missed you, you take care,

Louise.

Hi !

It is so nice to hear from you!

Thanks for the kind words and hugs. You know,

it is so nice to not have to worry about stepping

on the bow-wow, as she was always underfoot,

but I miss her terribly.

told me she doesn't ever want another

pet, because the pain of saying good bye is

just too much. For now, I feel pretty much the

same. Guess I am too chicken to get " back in the

saddle! "

Well, I would certainly LOVE to come to Hilton.

I really love apples! But, alas and alack, I must

see what everyone else wants to do...

Wishing you the very best at the festival!

Hey there Jules,

Is silly Melt here and so happy to see your post but sad you are not

much better. The neck area for me too is a very serious subject and

I don't blame you for not wanting to run in that direction but as

with you, I have choked many times and I guess some year decisions

need to be made. I think of you and you have a pkg ready to be

mailed. Till soon dear, we are here for you and can call if you just

need a chat some time. Love, Patty

My neck arthritis is so bad that a bone spur is protruding into my

esophagus from the spine and causing difficulty swallowing. The docs

said that surgery can be done for that, but that it was a nasty

surgery to go through. Oh, joy! Either that or choke to

death...hmmm.

Hey stranger from up north!

Glad to see ya around! Hey having nothing to do is a good thing, very good

thing! Ask me I know since my sabbatical! Naw, I am soooo soooo soooo busy

not working. But I do get snatches of time off that i just adore and bask in

especially when the weather is warm and sunny - no guilt there about just

lying around!

Miss Shan seems to be doing good. I'm happy about that. I do miss ya and

really dont know when we will see each other. :(

Well, I'm on the puter alot, so if youre bored, you know where to find me!

I have NO idea how I ever fit in working.I started working when BJ was

18 months old, and I left work the week before Natasha was born, and

returned for a few hrs for 3 weeks when she was about 4 weeks old. I

don't need to work yet ( touch wood that I can stay staying at home) and

I have no idea how I ever did everything...I cant fit it all in

now......... :) I spend too much time chatting with Gail and Kellie :)

In case you haven't noticed, the 20 min solution is HARD!!! (duh,

right??) When I first started doing it on my elliptical, I would

reach about minute 14 and think I was going to die. So then I would

just tell myself, " Ok, forget the intervals and just finish the 20

minutes, no matter how slowly " . Each time I did it I would push

myself to do the intervals for just a little while longer before I

had to resort to the super slow stuff. As long as you are

progressing a little more each time, you are doing fine!

Does that help?

Lynda

Lynda,

I think that's sound advice. I remember the elliptical being WAYYY

too hard when I started out on BFL. I ended up using the treadmill

with varying speeds of walking for intervals... just speeding up

everything by .1mph each week...
