Guest guest Report post Posted October 7, 2004 Hi Donna, If you ever find the way to overcome Fibro, Please let us all know ) Glad your doing better today... ((( PainFree Hugs ))) Helen Hi Helen,The appointment went okay, however I know little more than I did before I went. I have learned more from the internet and from all of you than I will probably ever learn from my doctor. It is good to know that there is really a cause for my symptoms. I was beginning to really have a complex over my doctor telling me that he couldn't find a reason for my symptoms before! I made myseld do a little around the house today, and I am not in pain as I sit here at my computer at the moment. (Knock on wood). Yes, I have learned to stop when, I feel tired, and yes so many times it is after 10 or 15 minutes; however I am at least getting started with some housework. I have a young girl that comes and helps me out on the weekends; and my kids do as often as they are able. I have always been an overcomer, so this won't keep me down too long; if there is any way possible; I will find it!Donna Whats Wrong With Me:1-Fibromyalgia--F.M.S. 2-Chronic Fatigue Syndrome--C.F.S 3-Systematic Lupus Erthematosis--S.L.E. 4-Mitral Valve Prolapse--M.V.P. 5-Hypothyroidism/caused by Graves Disease 6-Hyatal Hernia 7-Acid Reflux--(Gerd) 8-Migrains 9-Poly Neuropathy 10-Osteoporosis 11-Osteoarthritis 12-Hypertention 13-Degenerative Arthritis in head, neck, shoulders, spinal column, arms 14-Restless Leg Syndrome-R.L.S. 15-Hypoglycymia 16-Irritable Bowel Syndrome--I.B.S. 17-Arrthymia's-P.B.C’s--P.A.C’s--Ventricular Tachycardia-One other I don’t remember the name of 18-Emphysema19-Myofacial Pain Syndrome--M.P.S.20-Polymyalgia21-T.M.J. Guest guest Report post Posted May 25, 2005 Hi Fran, I apologize for not getting back right away but I seem to be having some problems getting back on the group. For some reason my intro didn't go through so I will try to resend it again. Being I am at work it makes it a little more difficult. has been having similiar symptons as before like the tired eye look, bad breath and of course the swollen lymph node in his neck. Now we could be jumping to conclusions. Maybe he did have something else but I have been writing things down again and we will see what the next few months bring. I will keep in touch Donna

It was very interesting but quite a bizarre experience, got told off for sitting down with my back facing the door as that was her spot, can't stand people coming up behind her! She did give us a very graphic account of how it feels when she eats cheese, said the ground opened up and started moving, abit like an acid trip she said so quite a good insight into what it is like to be autistic. Also said Sam was trying to get into the colours on her disco ball! She did give some pretty good advice on the biomed side, mainly that sugar said her bonkers and explained about stimming, said it was a way of blotting out things and made her feel better when she had sensory overload. I've got a feeling she is back living in Australia now where she is from. I'm sure her talk would be very good Di

Guest guest Report post Posted March 17, 2007 Thanks, ! It has been a long road - and I'm not sure how long this will last. I think he is worried about his health and that is what prompted this - which is good - there are many men his age or close to it that have health problems. He's 46, my co-worker's DH is 48 and he had a heart attack a few weeks ago. That is too young and I think it got DH thinking...... The hot dog thing sounds like something my DH would do. i hope this time the changes he has made will be lasting ones!
