Katey;

Hi! welcome to the board, congrats on your lost inches. How old are

your kids? Have they gotten use to you following the nutrition plan?

My kids [i have 5] still comment on what my hubby and I eat and we

have been eating healthy for over a year now. LOL

Hi Vicki,

Welcome to the list! We have a great group and our yearly gathering is

a lot of fun. I've seen you post on the TLC list.

I don't know about you but I wasn't ready for this heat wave. Hope you

are surviving it better than I am. :)

Hi Vicki and welcome to our neat little group. We're all a great bunch

of people here if I do say so myself. (hehe) I also am an M & P soaper

plus some other toiletries. I've been pretty lazy this summer, though due

to the heat. So I've got to get off my butt and start up again. I have my

things in a few stores around here. Oh, I live in Ilion, NY which is right

smack in the middle between Albany and Syracuse (about 10 miles

from Utica).

I hope you enjoy being in this group....I'm sure you will.

Have a great day,

Ugh, I think best thing you can do is toss out the rice and get new. and

store it in a airtight container. My hubbys Nana had a moth problem once

and it come to find out they were in a box of pecans that had been shipped

to her from NC.

Hey Vicki,

Did you happen to see my picture at the gathering? I can't remember if

the gathering pictures are in the files or not but if they are I'm the

gorgeous, thin, young girl next to . :) Don't let anyone else

tell you that's her daughter Kayla because they're lying!! And I'm NOT the

overweight woman smoking a cigarette with my mouth open going 100 miles per

hour. LOL!!

Hi all,

I am a soap and toiletries maker that also blends perfumes and uses

organically grown flowers and herbs in my products from my own gardens. I

especially love EO blends with herbs for diffusing and for the bath.

My products are sold mainly in hospitals and used for cancer and leukemia

patients that have been over radiated or developed skin problems from the

meds in chemotherapy.

I look forward to learning more from the group!

Hi

I'm new to the group and thought I'd say hello,

I have a beautiful 3 month old boy who I have not

vaccinated. I'm in the UK so vaccination is not

mandatory and although everything tells me I'm doing

the right thing I am still terrified he'll contract

one of these diseases. If only we could find out the

truth!!!!

I've been told by my health visitor that taking him

swimming might be risky (not sure if she means he

could catch something from a recently vaccinated baby)

does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks

Gaynor

hi i feel like you too, i guess. i have a 2 year old boy, completely

unvaccinated. we live in denmark. it has helped me a lot to read about disease

philosophy, to understand deeper the meaning of disease, and go one step beyond

the evil-critter-entering-body-and-destroying-it concept. still, my brain

ocasionally says " but what if " , but i guess thats only normal and healthy.

with regards to the swimming thing, he probably refers to kids recently

vaccinated with oral polio virus, which can (tho highly unlikely) transmit

through stools (and the water). do they still use OPV in england? in denmark

they have stopped it, though kids having had one or more doses stay on the old

program, so it is still administered to these kids. this polio-contagious thing

is currently the only thing that worries me.

have you read " Vaccinations: A thoughtful parents guide " by Aviva Jill Romm?

cheers

Per

Gaynor,

we have found out the truth....stick around, you won't be scared for long.

And welcome by the way....

Joanna

PS. It's the vaccinated kids that are walking aroudn with all the viruses.

Hi Per

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one worrying

over these vaccines, my gut feeling tells me I've made

the right decision but only time will tell!!

My vaccine doubts stem from having to learn about my

immune system due to having chronic Lyme disease, the

terrible Lyme vaccine got me thinking if thats no good

why would any of them be any good and the more I learn

the more I realise that there not.

Do you know what the real chances are of catching

polio through swimming because everyone has the Live

vaccine in the UK?

Thanks for the book tip as I haven't read that 1 yet

Love

Gaynor
