Guest guest Report post Posted April 8, 2003 nne When my emails come thru to the group and I open them I don¡Çt see any weird character either. As far as that stupid spacing problem, that¡Çs been going on for months. I¡Çve never figured that damn thing out either. I HATE computers!! RE: Re: cost of craft shows ?? I'm not receiving anything weird when you send me messages, . It's just that your e-mail spacing is off. It looks like your e-mails are double spaced. ~nne in Albany
Guest guest Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Well, I guess that wasn't the problem because that's what it was already set at. I think I had already looked at that but I double checked just in case. Question though, what did you mean by " make sure BOTH are set to " Western European ISO " ? Maybe I'm missing something here. ~ I found it!!! Dear , >>text/plain; charset=ISO-2022-JP<< 1) In Outlook, go to Tools ... Options. 2) Click on the Mail Format tab and choose " International Options. " 3) Make sure that both are set to " Western European ISO. " You probably have Japanese code installed and it accidentally got changed somehow. I hope this works! ~nne in Albany

Guest guest Report post Posted October 30, 2003 Hi nne Yup, my hair is different. I want to get s new " do " soon but can't decide just how I want it. I don't want anything that I have to " fuss " with all of the time but still want it long enough to be able to pull back if I want to. Have fun moving into your house this weekend. It sounds like you're going to have GREAT weather to do that. I hope it's not too muddy around the house from all this rain. The day we moved into our house from my other house it rained (that was in the month of October also) and I tried laying newspapers all over the house to keep the guys from tracking mud all over the place. It worked " somewhat " but it was still kind of messy. Congratulations, !!! , It's *so* good to hear from you, and ... congratulations on your beautiful granddaughter!!! I'm sorry that I'm late in responding. She's a cutie! You must be *so* happy ~ I can't even imagine. I noticed in the photo that your hair has gotten a lot longer, hasn't it? It looks nice. Anyway, enjoy her, and best wishes to the new parents. It will be fun for Jeff and me to have kids someday! Share more pictures when you can ... and tell us all about how she's doing! ..:. nne V. Guest guest Report post Posted March 2, 2004 Yup, I thought of that one, too but only had a tad left and didn't want to order more at this time. RE: baby showers Chamomile also might be good to add to the SFIC soap base, maybe? What do you think? For a friend's baby shower last year, I did a laundry " kit " ... also included a set of three guest-size soaps for her to use on her baby [or to use herself in the shower, LOL!]. They turned out way cute ... I did one unscented, one with a *light* scent of chamomile, and one with a *light* scent of lavender. ~nne -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . Guest guest Report post Posted March 26, 2004 You're grandfather sounds way cool. I'm glad he's going to get back into his candles. I love to see older people find a hobby to keep their minds from going stale, especially after losing their life partner. Maybe you could start adding some of his candles to your gift baskets that you make. Gathering ... room We could set up a table in our garage for the Yankee swap [i assume that we're doing one this year?] and then another table for the item swap materials. That would work, maybe? I'm still trying to decide whether I want to participate in the product swap ... I'll have a lot going on with cleaning and stuff and getting our house ready for our gathering. But, it does sound like a blast!!! My grandpa wants to try to sell some of my soaps. [He's sold eight of them so far to various people who he knows!] He bought me a TON of soapmaking supplies the other day ~ I was SO in shock! He was so generous and kind to do that. I swear, he has such a heart of gold. Plus, with my grandma not with us anymore and him feeling pretty lonely a lot of the time and recently feeling like he doesn't have a whole lot to do, he enjoys it because it gives him something to focus on and help out with. We're kind of a soapmaking team now, it seems! hehe SO nice of him. Also, he's getting back into candlemaking! He used to make great pillars and candles of all kinds, and I'm SO happy that he's getting back into his old craft. I can't wait to see what candles he makes! The ones that he made before were SO cool. My grandpa turned 80 years old in January ... I have always admired him because he always LOVES to learn ~ that's how I want to be, too!!! My mom might be coming to our gathering!!! I am SO psyched! So, you might get to meet her! I know that she will have a blast [i hope!]. I don't know if she wants to get into soapmaking or not. We made soap together at Christmastime. I *so* wish that I could do " gal stuff " with her more often ~ my family lives in Indiana, and I wish that they lived closer. We hardly ever get to see them. I miss her so much! I just made some sage & citrus heart-shaped guest soaps [colored sage green and white] and some " silky rice flower and shea butter " guest soaps, heart-shaped [colored sparkly gold] for some friends tonight. Hooray for crafting! nne V. Jensen My blog: http://bathtubjunkie.star-shaped.org/

Guest guest Report post Posted January 20, 2005 nne Thanks for sharing the baby's room decor. It's very cute. What color are you painting the walls? My daughter ordered her stuff online, too. I purchased the matching lamp and mobile for her shower gifts. Then I bought an unfinished wood sofa table at AC and used the pale green and pale blue paints left over from the walls and painted the table in the two colors. We had painted the room 1/3 up the wall with the pale green and the top 2/3's with the pale blue. Then we put up a white chair rail. She had bought the matching wallpaper border with the baby's bedding and so I purchased a kit where you can trace a picture's outline onto things and traced the animals across the table. Then I hand painted them in with craft paints that matched the border's animals and painted the grass across the table and it's an exact replica of the wallpaper border. I put a clear laquer finish over the entire thing to keep it from getting scratched. It looks like it was purchased from the company that made all the bedding & stuff. The matching lamp looks so cute sitting on the table, too. I'm no professional painter but it came out great if I do say so myself!! Just thought I'd tell you that in case you're open to different ideas for decorating. RE: Re: GUESS WHAT????? Dear Gabby, >>You have to be getting excited, the time is rolling near for delivery!!! How are you doing???<< I'm doing well! Just in awe that we only have 60 more days before our son's due date! LOL! There's so much to be done. My next doctor's appointment is January 27th, and my mom will be in town then - so she'll get to go with us! I'm so excited to spend the week with her (no work!!!) and do fun baby/house/girly stuff together. We have our crib ordered, and our crib bedding set is also on the way. Here's what we picked: http://www.dreamtimebaby.com/ohboy.html. It's a " transportation " theme that will hopefully translate to when he gets older, too. I'm excited to put everything together and see how it looks. We have childbirth classes starting in February, and I plan to check into a breastfeeding class. We also need to take a hospital tour sometime soon. I can feel him moving around like CRAZY!!!!! I love it, and I know that I'm going to miss that movement later on, when I'm not pregnant anymore. We think that we have a name picked out for our little guy, but we're not telling anyone until he's born. It's actually the first name that we wrote down! As far as soapmaking (sorry, didn't mean to talk so much about baby stuff!), I want to make a few things for my mom when she arrives. My dad LOVES anything vanilla-mint, so I'm going to make him some lotion and a soap (Mom can take it home to him). I'm going to make my mom some lotion and a soap, too - maybe blackberry-sage (that's one of her favorite scents). Question for you guys - when you have company over (to stay with you), do you make up a little gift basket to sit in the guest bedroom or guest bathroom? Like, goodies for them to use? Just wondering - because I thought it would be a nice gesture to do that for when my mom gets here. Didn't know if other people did things like that, too ... ~nne http://bathtubjunkie.star-shaped.org/
