Guest guest
Hum I don't know why this didn't occur to me BEFORE, but perhaps your recovery has to do something with the fact you run around looking up in the sky looking for falling houses. Guest guest
Kristy, It sounds like you are playing it safe taking the 10 days instead of 5. Staying with Mum is also a good thing. You will be great! Happy healing! in WA
Guest guest
> Gosh..I hope I can stand up enough to sell houses!! > > Kristy Good girl your going to have mum help. At 2 weeks I was still pretty bent over...at 3 weeks post-op surgery from tummy tuck and breast lift I was spending the entire day at the Kern County Fair..I was upright enough that nobody really knew I'd had surgery..I was still taking my Vicoden because as I would get tired I would start to bend...my sister could always tell when I needed to take more...like I said I wasn't in 'pain' but my muscles were drawing up. I'm glad you took at least 10 days off...that may almost be enough time...lol...it all depends on how tight the doctor pulls you and how fast your skin/muscles adjust to it. Hey the " bent over, poor me recovering from surgery " look may actually help you sell houses...you know, the sympathy sell! Jo

I'm so glad you have your 10 days planned and that you will be in the hospital for three days and with your Mum after that! It sounds as if you are taking care of your needs well! On the 2nd if I go it will be late after a hair appointment. No milking contest that I know of...my Joe does the night milking of the 4-H and FFA members heifers that calve at the fair. Night milking starts approx. 7 pm. Joe usually hangs out around the dairy animals or the Basque booth...If you see him he can get in touch with me by phone. I run around with the kids, grandkids, mom, sister, friends, the hypnotist...lol...I could probably do the hypnotists show for him. Guest guest
It's called abdominal etching... and supposively it only works if you have very little fat in your facia... which isn't the case for most WLS patients without extensive lipo. (usually multiple rounds) Here's a link to my local pastic surgeon's website with a few pics: http://www.egrari.com/Photo_Gallery/index.shtml > There is > > actually a technique they use to give a 6 pack look to the > abdomen. > > I have heard of a technique where they liposuction a fake six pack. > > Marta

The serous fluid you lose after PS is full of protein. You need iron for your blood. I would have supplemented Vit C if I had thought of it in time, also. Didn't remember it, though.
