As someone who is still pre-implant, I'd like to weigh in on this "disappointed in self for doing it" feeling, Maybe I'm like your past self talking to your current self. I can tell you that even reading everything on this board, I'm still having moments where I want them because maybe I won't have bad side effects. The want for nice boobs is so overwhelming that it's like fighting a primal urge or something. I saw a woman at the grocery story last night who was bending over to get something off a low shelf, and she had these nice 'normal' sized boobs, and I just thought, "It's not fair! I deserve to know what it feels like to look like that! I want all of the woman parts. Why should I be denied that for my whole

life?" It's so HARD to fight this when you know there is a way to get those woman parts! So don't be hard on yourself for having done something about this feeling. To me, you're all brave because you tried to do something to get over this hurdle. I feel like I'll forever be stuck in this horrible place where I can't accept myself as I am, yet I can't quite bring myself to do anything about it. What a way to live/ not live. Please don't feel bad for having tried to improve your quality of life. Based on what I read in these posts, it didn't work out in the grand scheme of things, but you tried.. There is no shame in trying to put yourself in a better place, and that's what you were doing when you made the decision to get implants. Re: Hair Loss

Believe me, I know what you mean. I sometimes think that I won't get

well unless I forgive myself for this mistake. Yet, even though I

made the decision, I felt I made an informed one. All of us were

lied to...by the media, by the plastic surgeon, and by others in the

medical profession who claim they are safe. Don't be too hard on

yourself! You've still got time to have a baby...just wait until you

are fully recovered so the baby is healty. That can be your goal

(and reward) for getting well! - PH

I was prescribed diflucan but I haven't started taking it. I wonder

if it's too soon to take it. Today I have a little more energy but my

arms and legs feel week. I'm so scared. Even my fingers were

twitching a little bit. Then I had a weired feeling in my left hand.

Forgot to add, I think it's fine to take the Diflucan as it will

jumpstart the killing of the candida, especially since you probably

still have antibiotics in your body. Others may disagree, as natural

antifungals are just as potent and have fewer side effects.

I don't know who explanted you but Dr. Kolb prescribes antifungals

for all her patients. After your round of Diflucan, you might want

to check out all the other natural antifungals by looking at the

files section. Take your time though. For now, try to rest your

mind. - PH

Denial is so great, isn't it. It will never

happen to me. If you get them, you will find out

that it can and will happen to you, it is just a matter of time.

Thanks PH. I just called a hollistic dr in my area and she has the

infrared saunas and ionic foot baths in her office. I made an appt

Tues for the foot bath and sauna, and then a consult with her where

she will do a hair analysis and something called the ondamed bio

feedback system wich:

Stimulates connective tissue known

in German biological medicine as

the extracellular matrix. This

matrix is a storage for nutrients

and toxins which are either

delivered into the cells or

excreted into the bloodstream or

lymph. Stimulation of the

extracellular matrix...

- Enhances the relaease of

toxins leading to improved

detoxification

- Enhances the absorption of

nutrients into the cells

- Reduces edema

- Increases cellular repair and

regeneration

- Activates lymphatic drainage,

leading to an

improvement in immune

function

- Improves blood circulation

- Reduces the harmful effects of

geopathic and electromagnetic

stress, reulting in...

- Balanced metabolism

- Increased vitality

- Better moods

- Clearer mental thought

processes

- Stronger commitment to

self-care

Have you ever heard of that? She also told me to start the diflucan

so I took one today. Her fee for the consult is $150, $35 for the

sauna session, and $20 for the foot bath session. Hopefully I'm on my

way to recovery. Thanks for the good advice that you've given me. She

wants to start me with the sauna and foot bath immediatley for detox.

Stephie,

Don't wait to start taking the Diflucan . . .

If you want to know the diseases fungal problems can mimic, read "The Yeast Connection". It will blow your socks off!

Ballerina,

From everything you're telling us, your intense desire to get implants, and your reasons for doing so, aren't making sense - in light of the fact you KNOW that you could have serious problems.

I'd suggest seeing a counselor or psychologist who understands these kind of feelings.

You'll be glad you did!

We'll be here to encourage you NOT to get implants. We'll be very concerned for your welfare if you do. From what you've told us about your health, you aren't a good candidate anyway.

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

I started taking it today so hopefully that'll help. I also did an

epsom salt bath tonight and the water looked like a tanish color.

Thanks so much. I am signed up to see someone (therapist type) about this on Dec. 10. What's strange is my PS didn't ask me about any of these things- since posting those symptoms I've had, I remembered I've also had numbness and tingling in fingers and feet. My right foot went numb on me for 2-3 months straight once, then got better, then went numb again for another month or something. One of my fingers was numb for weeks once. Shouldn't a PS ask about neurological weirdness before implanting someone? Re: Re: Hair Loss

Great Stephie! . . .

Espom Salts pulls the stuff through your skin while you absorb some of the Magnesium . . . That should help with some of your muscle pain.

For it to turn tannish, you must be loaded with garbage! . . . Are you a smoker?

No, So I really must've had a lot of toxic stuff in me. How often would

you reccommend the baths?

Stephie,

I don't know of any particular schedule for doing Espom Salt baths . . .

But since you had such a reaction (tan water), I'd wait at least a few days while drinking a lot of water. . .

You may feel a bit worse tomorrow. Wait until that's over.

I know you want to get this over with as soon as possible. . . I'll let PH explain it the way Mercola's clinic explained it to her. . . This is something that must be done slowly. . . .Your body needs time to flush the toxins.

You can do too much too fast. Not good.

Hi Stephie,

As far as scheduling your detox, it's something you have to figure

out on your own based on how your body reacts. The woman who I was

getting ionic foot baths from recommended daily for 3 weeks and then

off for a week. I did that and didn't notice any improvement.

Looking back I was detoxing way too much. Dr. Mercola's clinic said

as far as healing from fungus " Slow and steady wins the race. " They

said think of your body as a stadium full of people. If everyone

(the toxins) tries to exit at the same time casualties will occur

affecting the good cells too.

Mercola suggests waiting on detox until you have been on a yeast-

free/sugar-free/gluten free diet for 3-6 months. Then focus on the

adrenals. Once they are balanced, you can begin detox for metals.

Then you can detox for fungus.

They said though that since I have already been doing some detox I

could continue with colonics, chlorella and ionic foot baths twice

weekly. Everything else they want me to wait on. They recommend

supervised fasting as a great way to detox. I have an appointment

after Thanksgiving and will let everyone know what they say.

Rogene is right about making sure you hydrate yourself after

detoxing. One healer would give me water with Vit C crystals, Alpha

Lipoic Acid and Glutithione powder after each foot bath, sauna, or

lymphatic massage. - PH

PH- After what Dr.Mercola's clinic told you, do you think it would be

best for me to wait on doing any detoxing until my diet is under

control? I was planning on starting up the ionic foot baths in the

next couple of weeks but if that is going to make things worse, then I

would rather wait.

Krista,

Based on what I know now, I would have probably waited. You have to

do what you think is right for you though, because we are all

different.

Because there is a lot of imflammation in the body after explant,

Mercola suggests letting the body heal first. He told P to

wait at least 6 months before exercising so the body has a chance to

heal and then can handle the detox and exercise.

I have a leaky gut from the fungus. If I attempt a heavy duty detox

at this point, the toxins go right back into my blood stream,

wreaking havoc on other tissues and organs.

Your body knows how to protect itself from toxins to some degree.

Many toxins hide in the joints so the organs are not as affected.

Definitely they need to come out, but the timing needs to occur when

the adrenals and rest of the body are strong enough to handle it.

Mercola suggests taking pregnelone or DHEA to support the adrenals.

If you read about adrenal fatigue, it'll give you more insight as to

what's going on with our bodies. Then get tested through saliva and

have a naturopath follow you.

As far as an ionic foot bath, I don't think doing it on occasion is

going to hurt you. When you feel the time is right, try it out and

see how you feel. Eventually you'll come up with your own schedule.

At first I didn't notice much change and then over time I noticed my

vision and energy would improve for a period after the baths.

Definitely buy one instead of using someone elses. I wasted so much

money in the beginning!! - PH

PH- Thanks for all the help with this. You and I seem very similar,

so I appreciate your help very much. You are about 6 months ahead of

me, so you are paving the way for me! :-)

I think I will wait on detoxing and just concentrate on diet for now.

My hubby and I take walks a lot, so I think I will just continue

those. Start out slow...like walking for 30 minutes and see how I do.

I think then after a few months of diet and a little exercise I will

purchase one of the foot baths, rather then going somewhere to have it

done...that worm story grossed me out! AH!

Right now, everything hurts and it's difficult to know what will make

me feel better and what will make me feel worse.

I think I need to have my adrenals checked too. I did that spit test

this morning for fungal issues, and it came positive. Not sure what to

do about that other then stay away from sugar...so hard to do this

time of the year! But, I'm gonna do it!

Thanks again!

Hi Krista,

Yeah, I too thought we seem similar based on body size, length of

time implants were in and reasons for getting them. Also, the things

you say about your husband sounds as if he's similar to mine in his

support and reaction.

You're doing well if you're able to walk 30 minutes this soon after

explant! Good for you! I was bedridden for a while. Just in the

last month I've had a few days each week where I can function like I

used to for part of the day. On the days I do yoga I seem to have

more energy.

I actually felt semi-ok the last two days and already started some

Christmas shopping! I find though, that I still need to rest,

particulary if I'm out all morning running errands.

Try not to worry about your aches and pains. I had severe chest and

arm burning that crept up a month or two after surgery, lasted a

month and then completely disappeared. I thought for sure I was

dying. Now when my body does weird things I chalk it up to the body

detoxing itself because the symptoms end up passing and I feel better

for a brief period.

Patty and Rogene both told me that healing won't occur in a linear

fashion. There will be ups and downs along the way, but it

eventually stabilizes. We just have to learn patience! Love, PH

Well here I am again today with extreme fatigue and when I woke up, I

noticed that my right eye was a little swollen and it looked

infected. Has that ever happened to anyone?

Hi Stephie,

Yes, that was a problem for me but with my left eye. For the first 5

months I had problems with the glands in my eyes...lots of dryness,

puffiness, redness. I used Systane eye drops from Walgreens each

night for a few months...it has chemicals in it so you might want to

check out other options first.

I no longer need drops and my whites are getting back to their old

self. Try using a warm wet washcloth for 10 minutes a few times a day

and see if that helps. I helped me although it was a hassle.

It's probably not an infection, just dryness. However, if symptoms

seem to get worse, see an opthamologist. Your fatigue is

normal...you just had major surgery and it's your body's way of

healing. Love, PH

everything came back normal. They did say that my white blood count

was a little low. I don't know what that's from.

I also forgot to mention that my temp was 97.8 and it's usually 98.6.

I don't remember it being low like that.

I had low body temp too. It could be an indication of hypothyroidism

as many here have that and take either Armour or Synthroid. Have

your thyroid antibodies checked if your temp is an average of 97.5 or

lower for 5 mornings in a row. That's what Dr. Kolb had me do. - PH

My body temp was low for many, many years . . . Only recently has it begun to be close to average.
