it's such a shame in our society today that we have to lie to protect our

I was wondering if anyone else has problems with clouds. When ever it's

cloudy outside, ( I think it's the atmospheric pressure) I just get feeling

really run down and it seems that my digestive system slows down a lot as

well. I can't seem to focus, my eyes or my mind.

Is this a symptom of cancer? Is anyone esle experiencing this?

Yeah but he don't say nuttin about what I asked about. I'm not suffering from SAD. I can get sun for 3 hours and get pretty red, 2 days later if it's cloudy out, my body hurts, my head hurts, my digestive system seems to get sluggish, depression comes over me.

I thought this was supposed to be some kind of support group for those with cancer. Aren't support groups s'posta talk to each other?

Hey Michele,

I think the answer to the question is that this disease is very rare to us & everyone else, but not rare to the doctors. Cuz when I talk to my doctor about it, he also tells me this is not a rare disease. But your right, none of us had heard about it, till we or our spouse's were diagnosed with it. I have also told people about this and got the same response " cholest -t-t-aaaa What???" Then you try to explain it to them and they are just blown away.

The doctors know all about it, but not the general public. Maybe that should change don't you think? This is something serioius that affects many many people who are totally unaware of this disease. It just stays hidding on the back burner, till Whoa, watch out!! You got full blown c-toma and need a tympano-mastoidectomy surgery. And the thing is that even babies are born with this disease sometimes. I really think more people should be made more aware of this, so let's start planning our national C -Toma Campaign!!!

Anyways, I'm feeling a bit better today. One in the afternoon and I just woke up. That was one helluva tranq. hehe!!! Hope everything is good with everyone else.

And Mike, it would be really nice if your friend would like to share her story about this nasty disease. Maybe just get her to write some things down on paper for you and so on. Thanx for joining, you seem like a good, caring friend.

I've never heard of that.Anyone got an answer? I'm just curious. I will be asking Larry's doctor when I see him for surgery exactly one month from today!Michele

Personally I am trying to tell people I meet fairly often that I have HepC

in case I have an accident. From there I would say that if I meet someone

I'm attracted to I'll take it slowly & let them know before I try to get

close. Sad to say but if they can't accept you with HepC at the beginning of

a relationship it won't last if they find out later. As you've family, they

have to know as much as they can handle, & I wouldn't like to hide it from

them or have them cover for me, if you want a long term relationship I feel

they have to know!

If you have sex casually use protection, advice I've had is that with a

permanent partner contamination is less likely, though precautions are

advised unless you want children. If you take Rebetol/Ribavirin you must use

protection for up to seven months after finishing treatment.[it affects your

sperm]

I wouldn't take the chance of infecting someone who is ignorant of the need

for protection, as an ex blood donor I may have passed it on to 25+ people

through ignorance, until we have a cure I feel we must do all we can to stop

it spreading, take your time & build on a solid base.

All the best, Dave.

Hi Gay and welcome to the group. At the time of the Cook Right book,

sunflower seeds were neutral for O's. It was several years later when Live

Right came out and with more sophisticated equipment and further study,

Sunflower seeds have now shown to be avoids. That's why there are

discrepancies in the different books. Written at different times, the work

Dr. D showed different results.

Dear Janice,

Emotions come up based on both factors - the points you tap on (as

Lyn mentioned), as well as the set up phrase.

Different points may well bring up different emotions, and often

while tapping, if new emotions come up, it's often works to

incorporate them into the tapping. For example, suppose you start

out with irritation and annoyance at the itching/pain, then while

tapping, " fear " comes up, you can add in the fear and change your

reminder phrase to " feeling annoyance, irritation and fear " while

continuing the tapping sequence. This will help tune in to and

dissipate the new emotions that come up during the process.

Secondly, in the set up phrase, suppose your set up phrase is:

" Even though I feel irritated and annoyed at the itching/pain, "

deeper emotions can come up with different endings. Some

possibilities:

" I deeply and completely love and accept myself. "

" I deeply and completely love, accept and forgive myself for my part

in it. "

" I deeply and completely love, accept and forgive myself and any

others involved. "

" I know I can have a smooth and relaxed feeling on my skin. "

As you go further and further towards the choice of " desired goal or

end result " , deeper emotions may come up. Childhood traumas may come

up. Or, in some cases, nothing may come up.

Here is where applied kinesiology plays an interesting role. With

A.K. one can muscle test the age capacity of the first time this

occurred, who was involved, etc. Healing this primary causal issue

can help heal the present day problem.

One can muscle test if there is an emotional component left to be

dealt with (in which case EFT can work well) or if there are other

priorities that require more attention, such as cleansing,

nutritional deficiencies, toxicity in the body, infections etc.,

chakras, reactives, electrical or structural or spiritual work....

there are so many aspects of an issue that need to be looked at.

I can work over the phone to help, if wanted. Let me know, and we can

set up a time, if interested.

You can write to me off-list at the email address, if you wish:

EmotionalFreedomTechniques-owner

With best wishes,

Dayu

Thank you for that explanation. As I have only done basic training I

was not aware the actual point could trigger a reminder.

At most the varivax vaccine given btw 12m-18mo.Otherwise just the normal cold

stuff. My neighbors kids have CONSTANT colds or snotty noses.Oh the rotavirus

vaccine is back on the market in trials,so this is another threat at 2,4,6

months old.Ask if they are participating in the new trials. The virus lingers

If they are live virus vaccines, either do not allow

your wee contact with this wee one for a few days

after, or as they get older, have them play outside,

if her wee one was just vaxed. Dead virus vax, as far

as I know, do not pose any transmissable " threat " , but

if you are uncomfortable with it, just keep wee ones

seperated for a few days after vaxing occurs.

Chickenpox (and anyone who occasionally gets oral polio vaccine) and if

they come out with smallpox vax

Who knows about the killed ones. If they aren't totally killed (as

sometimes happens), then they act as live

I'm just like you-I just started on birth control

less than a year ago, and my problems started about

then. I have so many health problems that I really

didn't associate them with my thryoid, since my test

results always showed normal. That book I bought (Living

well with hypothyroidism) explained a lot-like how

birth control can cause your thyroid meds not to work

as well. My thyroid goes up and down all the time,

which is confusing to me, but my doctor today told me

that Synthroid is an " OLD " medicine, and makes your

levels go up and down...how can a drug like that even

get FDA approved if it does that? I never knew!

Really? I hadn't heard that about Synthroid. I'll

have to ask my doctor. He's actually very good about

discussing outside materials. He even read several articles

I brought in about pregnancy and hypo. Thanks for

the info.

Ree

Hi,

I haven't been able to post very much,

but your message about Synthroid caught my eye when I

scanned my clubs on My .

Since Synthroid is

a *brand* name of the thyroid drug " levothyroxine " ,

was he referring specifically to that brand, when he

told you that *levothyroxine* is " an OLD medicine that

makes your levels go up and down " ? The reason I ask is

that I take Levoxyl -- a brand of levothyroxine that

costs about half as much as Synthroid. Levoxyl seems to

work very well (I'm on 175mcg, since I don't even HAVE

a thyroid gland).

Anyway, I just wanted to

find out if that fact applies only to Synthroid, or to

all brands of levothyroxine...if your doc happened to

mention that.

Thanks and take care,
Chelle

Actually, it is the Levoxyl that I took too-I

assume she meant both the Synthroid and also the Levoxyl

since it is the generic-not positive though. I got to

wondering about why there is a settlement against Synthroid

too-anyone know?

I had never heard that either,but I know I've

been on the same dosage of Synthroid (Levoxyl)for the

last 7 years at least, no matter how many problems I

had, my tests always came back normal. I guess since

there are always so many new medicines coming out, even

something that has only been out a year could be called

" old " when something newer comes out. lol
