A lot of kids get extremely high measles antibody titres after one or more

vaccines.

Basically they have a chronic case of measles. measles comes out of the

body in the rash (we know that in homeopathy) If there is no rash, it

hasn't come out. After vaccines there rarely is a rash - therefore it goes

around and around and around. Damaging. We know in homeopathy (and

allopaths know - or did know) that if a rash is slow to come out or

doesn't appear, measles goes inward to organs and causes damage. Perfect

example of homeopathic principles. Why don't doctors get it when it comes

to vaccines and measles? God only knows.

Hi ,

Glad to have you in the group.

I really can't answer your question as my hubby never

experienced dizziness. I do know that it is one of

the symptoms.

I don't know how big of a town you live in, but I was

wondering if your ENT left an emergency # for another

ENT in your town. Where I live, we have a total of 2

ENT's. When one is gone, the other is on call for the

vacationing drs. patients. I wonder if this is an

option for you.

I think you need to be seen or at least talk to an ENT

since you are experiencing symptoms that you have not

experienced so far (I'm guessing at this). Maybe you

could go to a hospital and tell them you need to see

an ENT, not a regular doctor.

Hope this helps in some way. Keep us posted.

Still need others to respond !

Eye Problems?

Dental Problems?

Without feedback we can not fight to help get problems addressed and

solved....currently to get VA help for these problems must be 100% rated.

If you are hospitalized through in a VA hospital bring these problems up and

you will get help while hospitalized....Also be sure and fight to get exams

on eyes, dental during your C & P.

Again need all to speak up on these problems so we can compile data to push

them!

-Hello Joyce

I think you have to be careful about what you " buy " into in this life.

The weight issue is what I am thinking about here.

I have not found this to be true with me.

Speaking of this issue of weight gain/ weight loss particularly.

My story goes like this...

I weighed 260 pounds at my highest. I'm 5'1. This was before I had

any idea about a thyroid problem. I began to lose weight by

addressing my food addiction ( specifically fast food). I would run

from my life and go eat. I never did have a problem with food in my

house...or eating dinner out at a nice restaurant...just fast food.

Anyway i quit eating it...and I began walking. I lost 60 pounds this

way. At this time weighing 200 pounds...I stayed on track and kept

away from the fastfood. I then began to have some " serious " health

issues...not knowing what was wrong with me lol...ended up in the ER

a few times with heart palpitations, sweating, tingling in my arms,

feeling faint, cold all the time, hands and feet swelling...and no

one knew what was wrong with me...the third time in the ER I had a

doctor get " real " with me...and he said I NEEDED a break from my

life...right now!

So I went to see my chiropractor and she asked me " Amy what do you

want? " I said I want to go spend sometime away just by myself. So I

did...it ended up being 5 weeks with my parents...and in those 5

weeks my life changed for the better and I have never looked back.

I changed some REAL issues in my life in those 5 weeks. Body/Mind and

Spirit. That was the summer of 2000.

By February 2001 I went in for a full physical ( which I had not had

since the birth of my second child ( 1988). The nurse practioner

said she wanted to do a thyroid tests just because my mom was HYPER

thyroid. And you know what they found LOL A tsh of 88! And I was

thinking I was tired because I have 5 kids to keep up after! LOL

At that appointment I weighed 190. How could this be? I was losing

weight? how ? I was hypothyroid and was going against all the " norms "

about losing weight...but I did and I am.

Once I was diagnosed though...I BOUGHT into the " fat " syndrome...my

doctor said well you won't be able to lose anymore weight because you

are hypothyroid and NO ONE loses in the beginning stages and it is

hell after that ( once you get your medicine reglulated) to lose

weight. ( Just what you have been told as well Joyce.) I bought it

hook line and sinker. And guess what? I stopped losing weight! Got

stuck at 190!

The principle that is at " work " here is this: what you think about

you give energy and power to. What you give energy and power to gets

bigger. In this case I was thinking I can't lose anymore weight,

because the doctor said i couldn't and wouldn't. I began to manifest

this whole " idea " in my daily life as...I stopped walking every

morning (yes it was winter) but I had no more desire to walk cause I

wasn't going tolose anymore weight (my ego self got the best of me

there *wink*). I started eating fast food again..not running this

time but eating it a few times a week. I didn't drink as much

water...what's the use, is what my ego self said...if I'm not going

to lose the weight anyway, why do all this healthy stuff?? :-)

So what I thought, I gave energy to, and what i gave energy to, got

bigger....I didn't lose anything!

Today? well since February of this year I have changed the messages.

I have said that I CAN lose the weight and I will lose the weight, no

matter what anyone else tells me. I am now 175 pounds and have lost

weight without much trouble. I am not eating fastfood. I drinking

lots of water, I am walking every morning again...and I am making

healthy life style choices for myself and my family.

I feel great!

That's my story....maybe it can help you in your journey to lose

unwanted weight as well. HUGS to you! I am open to comments,

questions...etc.... :-)

I kow thismaynot work for everyone...but it has and is working for

me, thought I'd share with you all.

Amy, I didn't " buy " into anything. My doctor said that although I

gained weight because of my thyroid problem correcting it would not

cause me to lose weight. And I've found that to be correct. A

cousin of mine, however, lost the weight she'd gained after she

started taking synthroid. I was just wondering which reaction was

the most common. I " know " in my case what I have to do to lose

weight - get off the couch! ...Joyce

I haven't lost any weight and even gained at least 5 lbs in the past

year. I am on synthroid. I am also 345 lbs now. I also exericse and

have been for the past year. But I think that I might have a T3

problem and possibly switching to armour soon.

I gained 20 lbs (170 to 190) before I started taking

synthroid. Haven't lost any of it but ... haven't

gained anymore either. I worked out with a trainer

1-3 times a week last year and got more fit though.

But I didn't include the cardio often enough to

promote a weight loss. As soon as I get over my

broken ankle I'm going to start walking. My PT told

me yesterday I should be able to in a month. ...Joyce

Thank you..thank you for this posting. I have been so depressed about

being hypothyroid that I gave up on myself. I miss the days, before i

was diagnosed, when I was active. I miss the feeling I had when I

used to run and do aerobics. I have dwelled on this damm diagnosis

and have let this disorder get the best of me. So here I am, at 345

pounds, trying to regain my sanity and to reclaim my health.

I am looking for workout buddies. Anyone in San , Texas?

MJ, after I started taking synthroid I felt better

almost immediately. It took about 6 months, however,

to get the dosage to where I was " back to normal " .

Now I just take my pill every day and go on with life.

Most of my life I weighed 120 or less. Didn't start

gaining weight until an early menopause that coincided

with quitting smoking. Gained more when I had the

thyroid problem. Now I have to start exercising

again. I love it when I do it on a regular basis but

Hi Keri, My name is Sheila, I read all the posting of this group and

have been for the past 6 months or so. All the information combined

has helped me a great deal. I've also been reading the book " Living

Well With Hypothyroidism " which you definitely should read. I have

had hypothyroidism for the past 8 years at least (that is when it was

diagnosed) but I think I had it after I started puberty. I am 32 now.

I've always been athletic but have never been able to lose weight. I

am a fitness instructor and at one time I was teaching 7 classes a

week as well as weight training and jogging, etc... I could never try

hard enough to lose weight. Finally one doctor tested my thyroid and

voila! I also had quite a few other symptoms that I now realize were

all related. Bare with me, I have been on levothyroxin/synthroid the

entire time and have never felt better at all. Still Sluggish, no

memory, intolerance to cold, brain fog, depression, you name it. I

thought it was all about being a mom and getting older. I have

definitely had a slow progressive weight gain since puberty. I

FINALLY went to see an Endocrinologist. It was the best day of my

life! This was two weeks ago. He actually started out the visit with

asking me how I felt. He went by all my symptoms (no tests) and he

really cared. First thing he did was change my meds to Cytomel which

is a T3 medicine instead of the levothyroxin/synthroid which is T4. I

noticed a difference the first day in my energy! I'm telling you, it

has been a great difference. You notice right away with Cytomel it

starts working in your system immediately. In a basic nutshell (and

I know I won't explain it perfectly). When you are diagnosed with

hypothyroidism the doctors (who don't really know enough about it)

automatically prescribe synthroid which is T4 because technically

your thyroid isn't producing enough of it. They are assuming that

your body will convert the T4 to T3 which you need both of. In my

case, my body was not converting the T4 to T3 which is why my levels

were always up and down and I never felt better. Now I take only T3

directly and my body is converting it into what I need. I hope that

explains a little bit for you. Sorry to go on and on. It's nice to

have an ear.

That was a good explanation. However, don't most take cytomel in

addition to the synthroid? That was my understanding. What I am

hoping is going to happen is that I will begin taking Armour natural

thyroid in a few weeks. I just need to get my butt to get the labs

done (I'm a graduating college student without a car so it's not

really a great time right now but I will get the test done by Friday

at the latest).

The armour has both the T4 and T3 because it comes from pig thryoid.

I think that is what my doctor was thinking of for me.

Hi Janine,

Cytomel is just strictly T3. Some people need only Synthroid to feel

better, some need a combination and some need only T3. I think it's a

long process of determining what exactly you need. You know how long

it takes between tests...Too long. The Armour is not available in

Canada so I can't try it. I am on a slow progressive dose of Cytomel

over 2 months and then my doctor will assess me after that to see if

just the T3 is all I need. The whole thing is so complicated. It's

also so frustrating don't you think!

Yes it is complicated. The dr. that rx'd the hypo in me was only a

snythroid T4 guy. I did see some small improvement with it but still

didn't feel good. When I told him, he insisted that since I was

always tired that I am depressed and his answer was wellbutrin. I got

mad about that because he wouldn't believe me that I wasn't depressed.

Anyway, I think that I probably need the T4 also because it did drop

my TSH a lot and I do feel a tiny bit better with it. But I think

that I also need the T3.

I think that dr.s' need much better education here.

jacqui, maybe someone else can give you more info. From what I have

researched it's the live vaccines you have to worry about. A couple

of years ago my stepson had to get a second MMR before the new school

year, or he wouldn't be able to attend (so I thought).

My son was only a baby and I was quite concerned. I cannot find the

reference right now, but what I read stated the MMR can stay in the

intestines and saliva for about 3 months. It recommended to wash

hands, not use the same glass. So obviously it's in body fluids.

Hope this helped.

An example of this is the oral polio vaccine. The live virus is present in

fecal matter for over 30 days and can infect others. As far as I know, this

is actually the only known way to GET the virus in the US -- directly or

indirectly from the vaccine itself. Personally, I wish the vaccine also

turned the child's skin green for that 30 or more days so that we could all

protect our children! (okay, I'm joking, but I still wish there was some way

to know.)

,

I just read on another board that MMR has Phenol RED in it. These kids have

problems with Phenol..it is toxic to their nervous system according to Dr. Woody

McGinnis. Why on earth do they have to put red in it????

Or are they trying to add insult to injury?

, I didn't know this. No wonder why the MMR pushes these kids

over the edge. We know that is not the only reason though. Did you

know Dr. McGinnis is on our task force? He was also at the Canadian

Conference. I have his handout also.

No I didnt know Dr. Mc Ginnis was on the Task Force. Great...

And one other thing, just read on another site that MMR might contain a form of

MSG. glutamate...you know the stuff the Chinese food has in it. 25% of the

population cannot tolerate it.
