Regina,

Just let the doctor know that you get dizzy in planes and he can give you something for the nausea, no problem.

This is what my son's Docs say, too. X-rays used to be used for sinuses but

CT's replaced them because they were much more accurate.

Of course everyone is different but if it doesn't normally bother you to fly this shouldn't be any different. My flight from Phoenix to Dallas was delayed 1 & 1/2 hours so what was suppose to be 3 hours turned into 4 & 1/2 but only problem was a little soreness from sitting in one place to long.. Good luck to you.

thanks so much for the words of encouragement. It is greatly appreciated

and we are seriously considering at least a second opionion. We have in

the past and it may warrant in the case too. I will ask the ent about a

cat scan. With they always sedate him for that so that is tough.

The docs get nervous when they have to sedate. He is tough too to sedate

he has woke up in the cat scan and mri machine while under sedation!!!!!

He still doesn't sleep well!!! So we see the ent Sat. I will give it a

shot to at least have a second set of eyes here. Thanks Dawn

Hey Regina, This is from the Seattle area. What day are you having your surgery? It would be great to have someone close to my date that lives close and we could compare/help each other out?? Just an idea. Congratulations on scheduling. I hope to schedule my date ASAP.

Dear ,

Thank you so much for your reply, that eases my mind alot. i have a lot of

fear becuase I still am learning about lyme since it is so new to me. I

have not started treatment yet either becuase none of my local Dr's want to

treat me since they think I have a more advanced stage of lyme.

I hope you are doing better, and again thanks for your reply!

Yes, not the actual one that will go inside (that oneis in a box sealed until surgery) but a sample. Before surgery the doctor will show you how it works, the port the fills etc.
