Guest guest
Hi all! to ward off and fight cancer one really has to eat like a cow.Even the Almond has a substance(cant remember it right now)which supposedly can prevent many forms of cancer from occuring-3/4 almonds a day. Instaed of chewing Chick Peas and Grass I'd anyday grab a can of Edgell's baked beans-best in the world? -from Australia! Guest guest
Dear GP, Are Edgell's Baked Beans sprouted before canning or after opening the can? Can a can of baked beans cancel cancer? Only the Edgell knows! Tee(hee)Jay
Guest guest
Dear Tee(hee)Jay-ji, Namaskaar.Food , raw or cooked, must be palatable for proper digestion and unless the same can be made palatable it should not be eaten.Digestion starts with the saliva(enzyme ptyalin) and followed by other specialized enzymes in the various parts of our GI system.Plant enzymes occuring in all fresh and raw fruits and vegetables , and sprouts greatly facilitate the process of digestion and assimilation of nutrients in the body, but alone these are not self sufficient for digestion, as may be misunderstood by many of our sprout people.Beans are first sprouted and allowed to grow enough to form the pods, and seeds, and thereafter packed by Edgell's(no relation or business associate of mine)into the tasty Baked Beans.Edgell's baked beans may not cancel Cancer, but definitely they do not contain the supposedly carcigenic Class II preservatives and artificial colors. As to the taste compare the same with that of Heinz and find the difference yourself. Thanks. Dinesh Khandelwal. --- J <foryehyeh@...> wrote: > Dear GP, > Are Edgell's Baked Beans sprouted before canning > or after opening the > can? Guest guest
Dinesh-ji, That is a fascinating peice of information...a canned beab that is actually sprouted! I sprout my lentils and beans for various dishes and they cook and taste much better than the boiled varieties so I can understand the point. I'll see if someone in the US has Edgell's products. Guest guest
No - Mannix can most charitably be described as an chiropractor-hater, and Kulongoski, while not actively antichiropractic as far as I know, was no friend of the profession when he was the head of the insurance division for the State. It appears to be an issue of choosing the lesser of two evils. Guest guest
Well, that may be true but the sad fact is that one of them is going to be governor and we have to resign ourselves to that fact and work with it as best as we can politically. Guest guest
OK, , who can you vote for between those two slobs? We will probably be unable to get any positive legislation past either candidate. Mr. K. will probably say anything to sound appealing, and then do whatever will help himself. Mr. M. will just kick us in the teeth and be done with it. The next 4 years look bleak from here. Guest guest
Well, Kitzhaber didn't hate us and didn't do anything really good or bad for us during his 8 years. I think that almost all people can be educated when they are receptive, and maybe Mr. Kulongoski is open at this point in time to talking with us and we can see if there is a good reason to thros our support behind him. He has had experience in the Supreme Court since we last had anything to do with him, and maybe this has changed his perspective. With regard to Mr. Mannix, perhaps he has changed, too, but with his background as an insurance industry lawyer I would have a very hard time ever trusting him to reign in the insurers who abuse the average person for their own monetary gain. Additionally, everything seems to point to him being unelectable in a statewide contest, which is the only dim light in the whole thing. Guest guest
Sure wish you didn't have to expend that precious energy, that is more valuable to you than anything isn't it Terry? [ ] (unknown) Hi Everyone I hope you all are enjoying the long weekend. I had my shot last night & didn;t sleep very well last night & feel kind of out of it this morning. But I don't have time to feel sorry for myself. When our son "" & his wife moved up to Wi. They said they didn't want to drive a big truck back their in snow & ice so they put all of their things into a storage shed. Saying they would fly back in the spring & get their things "I knew then that wasn't going to hapen". I found out later it was because they didn't have the money for the truck. Well he asked Susy last week for us to empty the shed, ship their clothes they left up to them & sell everything else. So I am getting ready to spend the rest of today hauling things from their shed back to the house & put it all on the patio. Will spend the next few weeks sorting out things that had belonged to Susy's & my family. Pricing everything else for a yard sale hopfully July 6. I will end up using a vaction day the 5th to set up the yard sale & end up sitting outside all day the 6th. does not know it yet but what ever $$ I make is old Dad's for the bills he stuck me with "ones that oll Mom & Dad cosigned". Guest guest
, There was once a minority in this country that was kept from education, and then accused of being ignorant. The tactics of bigotry remain the same. With most DC's having fully accredited degrees(U.S. Office of Education says First Professional Status), there should be no impediments to furthering our education either by moving upward or laterally within the educational system within this country. Nor with our practice Act clearly defined, should there be any impediments, in any Oregon venue, to our practice within the State of Oregon. Unfortunately, miscreance still thrives in rule making bodies, administrators, and other positions of power and authority. But with great sobriety, we must not give them a target. Though managed care hasn't just entered without carrying a whole bag of thorns along with it, it has done some good things. One of those things good has been the development of competant charting systems. Before 1990, charting at large was not demonstrative of this professions' education or ability.
