group in the area but do not know of any. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for responding so promptly. The name of the production company is

D.Blaine Productions. We are producing Blaine's next magic special.

Blaine is a young magician who has had two specials on ABC and Buried

himself alive on the west side highway last spring. I'm not sure if you are

know him or not. He performs close-up magic on the street to passer-bys and

we shoot it documentary style. We are currently in the pre-production phase

of his next primetime special. would like to travel the streets with

some little people along to be extras do little bits in and out of

commercials breaks. We are willing to pay. At the moment I'm not sure what

is in the budget but we can discuss this later. We are planning to shoot a

little at the end of May and June and most of it in Sept & Oct. I can

provide you with video tapes of his last specials and a press kit on .

Try calling the American Liver Foundation in Central Illinois. I just

finished a self-help groups sponsored by them.

Let me know if you still need help. Support is VERY important.

Thank you for your kind words. I believe things will continue to improve

for people of difference. It won't happen as fast as we all would like but

I believe it is happening.

One of the things I wanted to comment on from the " Independent Lens "

documentary was a fear expressed by one of the average size parents of the

little girls in that film.

The mother said something like she hurt for her children because she knew

their lives would be tougher than for the average kid's. But she also knew

that they would overcome their difficulties -- she couldn't understand

how, but she had faith that they would.

I think her faith is well-founded, and she's a courageous woman. She's

going to trust her children to discover their own strength and courage for

dealing with life. It might be hard for average sized parents to

understand, but dwarf kids usually handle their rough spots better than

their parents do. This mother understands that.

Parents of average-sized kids relate to their own experiences as kids when

they raise them. They know that 95% of the rough spots of childhood are

just a part of growing up. As a result, they deal with their kids' rough

spots without freaking out or excessively worrying.

Average-sized parents of dwarf kids have a harder time relating to their

kids' experiences. They aren't sure whether their dwarf kid's rough spot

is a normal part of their childhood or something that everyone needs to

get alarmed about. As a result, I think that many parents worry more than

they should. If they just treat 95% of the rough spots as nothing to worry

about, the kid will grow up better than they would if their parents were

to excessively worry, because kids inherit their parents' worries. Parents

who worry less raise more confident kids.

Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent. Once the thoughts start flowing it's

hard to shut them off!

Question for those with back issues : A friend of mine is presently

experiencing problems due to a bulging disc which is at the same level as the

stenosis. Doctors want to administer shot in spine (3 series), also called

an epidural ( I don't know the correct spelling to this) - its not the same

as what they use on pregnant woman, but same procedure, but for a different

purpose to try to reduce the inflammation so that the bulging will subside

Has anyone experienced this procedure? Are there any precautions? Any

suggestions?

hep c is only blood to blood.

heck I am not recommending it, but hubby and i don't even practice safe sex.

I just finished a year of combo also. Have eliminated my Neurontin and

Effexor. Not recommended by doc, but I have no money to buy any with So

guess that decides it haha.

I feel much worse coming off treatment than when I was on. Feel like someone

beat me with a big stick, sick at tummy, headaches, weak, can't sleep, etc

etc. Hate this. I told doc's nurse and she says yeah sometimes that happens.

Well she can bite my butt lol. Gotta call doc tomorrow, I'm running out of

phenergan and fioricet.
