Guest guest
Colleen Thanks for all your info. Especially the part about AC accepting 's coupons. I'll keep that in mind. Sorry to hear about your little girl and the bees. I know how scared I would have been so I can imagine how frightened SHE was. Re: A.C. versus s I vote for AC ! I love that place! I can always find what I'm looking for. Everytime I walk into 's they've moved the Xyron stuff and I spend 10 minutes wandering around looking for it! LOL! I find the prices on most things to be cheaper at AC too. For example, the Xyron 900 was $119 at 's, at AC it was $99. AC also takes the 's coupons, so even cheaper prices. The cross stitch items are cheaper at AC , so are the kids crafts. I find AC to be more organized too. HTH! ===== Colleen ston Country Meadow Creations http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com __________________________________________________

I know I need to cut back, but the withdrawal headaches can be a killer. ===== Colleen ston Country Meadow Creations http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Colleen Oh, I still shrink wrap most of my soaps. It's just that one of the stores I have soaps in requested a bunch of " guest sized " soaps to sell for about $1.30 or so not shrink wrapped so the people could smell them. She thinks a lot of people would like to try a lot of little soaps in different scents at a smaller price before they buy bars at $3 - $4. So that's what I did and we'll see what happens. I was just concerned that after a while on the shelves they would lose their scents. You should see how I displayed them. I bought these display boxes from Bitter Creek. They come flat and you assemble them at the folds. I bought white ones instead of the craft colored but then I decided to cover them with different leftover wallpapers that I have. I did one covered in wallpaper from my dining room with fruit on it and put all the " fruit scented " soaps in it. Then I papered one with a wallpaper that had vines and wildflowers on it and put " scents from the earth " in them. Then I used coordinating " shred " to put the soaps on in them. They came out really cute. Time consuming....but cute. I wish the boxes were bigger but I got to put about 9 - 10 guest soaps in them. Pretty soon I'll be getting my new computer, scanner, digital camera and I'll learn how to take some pictures and post them. I should have had the computer & things by now but the State went on a money crunch for a while and it got held up. Re: Labeling lye soap That's the name she used in the post. I use the Walmart brand stuff and it works fine. I'm actually using shrink wrap for everything now though. Thanks to your wonderful tips ages ago, everything is wrapping great! Guest guest
Colleen, I'm 1B, low viral count and my biopsy showed no liver damage. My current and soon to be former hepatologist advocates what you are saying, that's why I'm changing doctors. I feel healthy, so I see no need to go on a protocol that will very likely make me feel like crap and very likely will not make a difference. I choose to believe what the NIH says, that because I contracted it many years ago in childhood (probably at least 40 years), have had no symptoms or damage, and being a white female, the likelihood of Hep C causing me any problems is pretty slim. When I read the package inserts for the medication and see all the things that can go wrong, I think it would be stupid of me to take the risks at this point in my health, to risk what *may* happen from the medication. That's not to say I wouldn't consider it in the future, should things change. I think some doctors are too quick to jump the gun because this is a pretty lucrative disease for them to treat. JMHO Marilyn Re: Colleen What I said was that the consensus now is that those who do not have an underlying medical condition (depression, drug abuse, alchoholism or drinking problem, severe liver disease, etc.) can go ahead and start treatment. There are many gastro's now who are advocating that all others, i.e. those without these underlying medical conditions, may as well go ahead and start treatment. The NIH is not the last word on liver disease, by far. Colleen
Guest guest
The NIH sets the standard of care, and not everyone, health not withstanding, HAS or SHOULD jump right into treatment just because they have been diagnosed with HCV. Guest guest
After having just read the latest American Liver Foundation newsletter, which I am a member of, I see that they quote the Consensus Statement as well. No one is arguing or turning your words around Colleen so there is no reason to be argumentative. LeighAnn

How long do you think you will be there before you move? Hey, you can get first dibbs at the dollar store now! hehe Yesterday afternoon, I got my new booth pretty much set up. There are still a couple empty shelves at the bottom that are empty but I am not gonna stress out over it. Need to do something bigger and artsy for down there. But Its a good start. Like the other place, things will grow and change over time. I've got a show in two weeks now to think about. Hugz Shaye

Hope you feel better soon. How are you > feeling now? cause of the car accident? > Kathi > WHELLOOOOO from the world below! Thanks! I'm feeling relatively good, and good enough to workout. Actually what hurt the most so far was my cardio. I do HIIT with step workout videos and I have to be careful on landings...lots of jumping, plyos, etc. in the videos. Lifting seems to be ok even if I have lost so much strength <G>. I also started a new job in December and we have a massage therapist that comes weekly to the office! It's been very helpful to get me through the week. I sign up for 30 minutes each time she's here and she's excellent. Hopefully, I'll be back on track 100% soon...cuz it sure is uncomfortable in pants too snug in the belly <G>. Colleen
