Look for places that specialize in Japanese green tea and those teas are organic and marked as 'first flush'. I usually order it from http://www.chadoteahouse.com/organic.asp

Dear , Green tea is as good as black tea (I use a mixture!).

They both come from the Camellia sinensis plant, and will provide

the nutrients the culture needs (together with the sugar) to make

your own excellent Kombucha tea!

No conversion necessary. Your Kombucha will taste quite different,

but is just as healthy as the Kombucha brewed from green tea.
