Guest guest
Hi Everyone - Sorry I haven't e-mailed before this. My daughter is in town from San and I haven't had a moment to sit down at the computer. I just wanted to thank each of you for making me feel welcome in your group. I am basically pretty shy, but you were all so nice and friendly and interesting and you put me at ease quickly. Deb Sturdevant (sorry if I massacred the spelling) told me you were all wonderful and she was right. Thanks to all of you who made this such a great gathering. The presentations were all so informative. I have been thinking about how to re-do my labels for the last 48 hours. I'm trying to think about how to make a silicone liner for my wooden log molds. And my daughters who teach have already put in a request for LOTS of hand sanitizer for them and their wee students. The food was incredibly yummy. Liz thank you once again for your hospitality. Your home is lovely and warm and made even lovelier by your welcoming demeanor. Shaye, what can I say, the whole thing was awesome and I am indeed in awe of anyone who could put something so wonderful together. I know I am missing naming people who were an integral part of making this such a special gathering, so thank you to them as well. I will definitely send a picture of my first batches of soap made in my new molds as soon as I make them. I've taken the Kelsei's Creations mold apart and put it back together once, just to see how it works. I am hoping to make a batch in the next couple of days. I was glad to see that you all arrived home safely. It seemed as if weather and car troubles were conspiring against a number of us. Take care and looking forward to communicating via the weblist and seeing you all next year. Guest guest
A lot of B & A pix are found on mgbfriends.com This site has over 200 post ops on it with pictures - many of us are creating our own personal sites to be posted on there. My pictures are not updated as I am 15 months post op - and the last on my page is my 6 mo post op pix. I'm working on my site and hope to have it on there by the end of the month! If you want more updated pictures - a lot of us are willing to send them to you if you write us privately - me included! Good luck! Michele in Mid MO 8/3/04 390/210/??? Drs. Guest guest
Deb, There used to be a direct link on the CLOS web site to the mgb friends site, however I just checked and I could not find the link on there anymore. So now you need to go to www.mgbfriends.com and then click on the letter of the alphabet on the top to find the person that you are looking for. Guest guest
There used to be a link there, but I can't find it now. Go to mgbfriends.com, then click on the letters at the top of the page to see people whose names start with those letters. Marilyn Re: Photos I may be a little slow here. Guest guest
Or you could make a folder at the group site, in the photo section and add them there. Then we don't have another password to remember for another account somewhere! Or just add to your own account (even if you don't use email, with your id, that's your email name, too) and then can just send the link that way. I have about 50 albums in one email account space. Guest guest
Hi Deanne, I can't do any of that stuff until I have learned about computers and better!!! I am a dumb dumb where all that is concerned. I really don't know how to do any of that stuff, either not completely or not at all. I do know how to send attachments to single email addresses, though. Maybe I will do that, as someone else (I forgot who) suggested I do. But that takes so long to do!!!! Guest guest
Good Morning Rashelle Thank You, I'm glad to " be " here... I was disappointed that decided to make our personal files private. I was uploading the automatic LL excel worksheet to " my files " and found that out. I think that the LL'ers will find it a valuable program. Are the moderators going to make the files and photos accessible on the lifelift groups site, to us then??? Gosh I hope so. That will be great. Thanks Re: Re: photos Hi Jen, does a lot of goofy things sometimes. Every so often I can't even get on to the lists. Guest guest
Absolutely magnificent! Words can't describe. I tried to pick just one favorite and couldn't! Loved the people, the black and white, the beautiful scenes and landscapes. You are so good, . I felt I had visited these places through your photography. What a wonderful talented man. You catch the spirit of the moment in the people and the country. Thank you so much for sharing. Sincerely, Granny
Guest guest
- Your photos are absolutely incredible! How wonderful to be able to experience the cultures and peoples that you do. Thank you for sharing with us. Meg PS - By the way, I have started swimming laps and have made it up to 10 doing mostly crawl but breast and back stroke, too. I am thrilled! Guest guest
You know my background in photography, so no need to eleborate. Some great pictures my friend. Love the face studies, do think you could have played with the lighting a bit on some of them. Would have loved to see more Black and White facial studies. The folks in all those areas have some interesting lines on their faces which when lit properly show almost a whole history book of life in the Orient. Keep up the good work, my friend. borough, Ontario.....I grew up just south of there inbetween Colborne and Brighton on Highway 2. Spents some wild, weekends in the Lindsey, borough area and up and down the Trent Canal. Folks they have the most interesting ride on the earth in borough. The lift locks, machinery that actually lifts water, boats and all up to a higher level of the canal. Weird sensation. Fr. Dave
