Guest guest
Thank you for the wonderful compliment. I have to say, I do like my hair being the color it was when I was 12--only my hairdresser knows how that happens!!! I can't believe where the time has gone and how old I am, either, because I don't feel a lot different, I don't think than when I was younger...except during the times of sleep deprivation--then I feel like I'm 100. Guest guest
Hi Kim, I have just the 3. Oldest and youngest are girls. Kayla is almost 14, Rylea is 6, and the boy in the middle, Kilian is 11. It must have something to do with the age/stage he is at now that made me decide recently that I don't like little boys-just kidding (mostly)! Guest guest
Kim, I just have one daughter that is 25. She is getting her masters this May, in counciling. Right now she works at a boys home in Buffalo. Very stressful, but she seems to love it. I am very proud of her, and wish I had 10 more like her. Guest guest
Graham, Thirty four is still young, as far as most are concerned. The older ones (not old, as in 90) tell me 40's is your prime. I have heard that from them since I was 22 so I could not wait to get here. I think, except for the Stills thing, I may agree. But, the early 20 something group does have a tendancy to see 34 differently. Once they hit 26, they change their minds about age real fast. =) My 12 year old daughter agrees that 34 is young, without any prompting I might add. Didn't you have surgery to make you Totally Hip? Back in April or so? How did that go? How are you doing / feeling / recooperating? I don't recall any updates for you on the subject. Nice to see your posts again. Guest guest
Vivian, I was 53, now 54, and I'm also coming up on the first anniversary of my injury - May 28th, 2002. I can barely believe that I survived this much pain, although in a twisted way, I do believe I've become a better (crossing my fingers and hoping) person because of it. Life has become more meaningful and precious, and I am so grateful to be living now and not a hundred years ago. I would be really crippled, or maybe even dead by now, and that wouldn't be any fun at all! 8^) And without this group, it would be a very lonely time. Keeping the humor going is a lifeline.
