Guest guest
Please pray for my Grandmother that she will be healed and able to come home again. She is still in the hospital with pneumonia from the chemo, on a ventilator, and now blood is coming out of her stomach. It is killing me as she thought she was going in for a feeding tube as she couldn't eat due to sores from the chemo. She has been in the hospital for one month tomorrow. She is still fighting but other complications still keep happening.. Also, please pray for our 16 month old Sphynx. He has FIP. The vet has put a stomach tube in and we are going to try the herb/vitamin/homeothpathic route. If anyone knows a cat ever cured from FIP PLEASE email me.. only a miracle will pull them both through..please pray for one.. we are numb and devastated at this point. My little girl is just crushed to as Mama, our Grandmother lives two doors down. Akiiki, the cat, is her dream cat she wanted for 7 years ( thanks Kim

Guest guest
Evidence was presented earlier this year at the ASCO (American Society of Clnicial Oncologists) annual conference that L-Glutamine powder mixed in water and gradually taken in a " swish n swallow " manner throughout the day will do much to relieve those painful sores that develop in the mouth as a result of (ugh!) chemotherapy. BTW, L-Glutamine powder (pharmaceutical grade) is much more likely to be stocked in a genuine health food store than in your standard type pharmacy. Guest guest
Ruth = is that Tuesday or Wednesday? oh well you deserve special prayer on both days. Also we have squirrels on our deck - we feed them sunflower seeds and they are so cute - two of them fight over the food once in a while. they chase each other through all the trees and chatter and chatter. I think I am talking myself into staying here instead of getting a smaller house!!!!! OR Sharon

Guest guest
I just got back from the test, it was horrible. The Radiologise doesn't think there is an infection either and, He didn't see any loosening which is good. I should know within a couple days as to whether there is one or not. So, when I have the final word, I will breathe easier. But, then I will also be back to trying to figure out what is causing all this pain. Guest guest
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, I know you must be very frightened about this. I thought I had an infection also and was so scared. Mine turned out to be more of a surface infection due to the staples and I'm on antibiotics now and it looks good, no more drainage. I can just imagine how scared you are and just know that there are people out here that are thinking about you and praying for you. sanditashadow@... wrote: I found out from my OS that if the test today shows an infection, then I have to have my new hip taken out and, be without one for 3 months. Guest guest
---Connie, Have they X-RAYED your thigh and hip to see if you might have some bone growing in the muscle next to the prosthesis? This happens many times after hip surgery. Sometimes they radiate it a little before surgery to prevent this from happening. Sometimes they also put you on an anti-inflammatory for a while to prevent it from happening. ..... Max In Joint Replacement , tashadow@a... wrote: > > I just got back from the test, it was horrible. Guest guest
Yes they X-rayed it many times now and, different positions, they did not find anything. Guest guest
It involved taking fluid from my hip and putting dye in to see if the prosthesis loosened at all. The radiologist put a needle in my hip with numbing medication but, when He put the needle in to take out fluid, I could feel the needle poking me and, felt the needle the whole entire time. The numbing medication didn't do anything to ease my pain. I even felt it when He took it out. I felt the dye going through. It was just awful. Connie vanillarwc@... writes: Why was it horrible? Sounds like the same nasty lil test they give me~ nothing good to say about it expect IT'S OVER! Connie I too had the same problems during the testing procedure. Did they try injection of steriod into the hip joint ? I can't remember the name of what the med was they give me but it didn't work. I certainly hope they rule out the ugly issues and it's something simply fixed Hope your feeling better soon sweetie~ keep ya in the prayers take care
