Guest guest
Hi Anita....great news. Yes thats why they'll wean you off ever so slowly and monitor your bloods carefully to make sure your LFTs stay normal. Im off completely now...some people have to stay on a small dose, like 5mg for maintenance... but Im guessing that as youve responded so quickly...youll get off pred completely. Guest guest
Anita, this is terri, my bloods went back to normal on 40mg of pred, then they started wheening me off. I also started 100mg of Imuran. When I was down to about 10mg of pred and still taking the Imuran, my counts started going back up..It ended up I couldn't take the Imuran. I'd gotten off pred for 3 days but due to the problem with Imuran I was put back on 10mg and then started Cellcept. Guess what I'm starting to feel great. It's been all of 3wks and I think all is going well, I go for another blood test next wk. but now I'm starting to feel great. Ian & Janet <ianjanaust@...> wrote: Hi Anita....great news.
