Yay!!! I am so glad you are going to give Tae-Bo a try! Just so everyone

knows, and I have known each other for 6 years. She is one of my

closest friends. She has watched me gain and lose and has always been there

to encourage me. I am just sad that we don't live by each other anymore :( I

know you will all love her. Besides her big heart, she is hysterically

funny!!! just ordered the tapes today. She has never tried

Tae-Bo so I am sure any advise we could all share with her would be

appreciated. Yay! Welcome to Tae-Bo , LOL!!!!!

, welcome! I am so happy that you're postponing your bypass trek

and walking the tae bo path instead. We'll be hanging in there with

you through all your changes. I look forward to hearing more about you.

Good for you ! Taebo can do it for you if you really really use it!

Stick with us. We'll give you all the tips, motivation, and support you'll

need to hang in there.

You'll love it here. This is a great group!

Welcome to the list ! You will get such great support here and it is

so wonderful that you have a friend like to point you to the list.

She is also a great inspiration to us all.

As for me I have been doing Tae-Bo for one month and have lost a total of 10

inches and about 5 pounds. The inches always come off first.

I added your intro to the web site that we have for the list. You can find

the web site at: http://taeboon.isportsdot.com

Welcome to the group! I'm so glad you listened to and decided

to give tae-bo and this group a try as opposed to surgery! I think you

will find tremendous support here and you have a wonderful role model

in . Listen to her because her attitude is contagious and you

can have it too! The first step is always the hardest and you've

already done that (ordering the tapes) and deciding that only you can

do this for yourself! Please try not to be so hard on yourself. Many

of us have been where you are and your goals are attainable....you have

to be willing to do the work, but if you are...there is nothing that

can stop you. I want you to look in the mirror and find one thing that

you like about yourself (it can be anything....come on, there's got to

be a couple of things) and try to look beyond the outer, physical

person looking back at you. You are so much more than " huge " ....I hope

you know that. There is more to you than the physical body. I know

how easy it is to focus on how much weight we have to lose or how far

we have to go to reach our goals, but just take it one day at a time.

I promise you, you'll start to feel the inner changes (more confidence,

an inner strength, a belief that you can acheive your goals) and the

outer changes will follow. The most important thing is to believe that

you can reach your goals. If you believe you can do it, you can. If

you believe you'll fail before you even start, you will. I'm sorry if

I sound like I'm preaching...but when I read your introduction that

statement about you being huge really jumped out at me and I just

wanted you to know that you are much more than that statement. We all

start out at different points, but we're all on the same journey...to

be more fit and to feel better. We all gain different things along the

way....and you will too. I'm glad you've joined us and I hope I didn't

scare you away with all my babbling :) I hope you find this group as

motivational as I do!

who will step down off her box now :)

I'm glad it helped you, too! It's taken me a long time to realize that

I am so much more than my physical appearance and I just want to help

others realize that they are, too!

Welcome to the group Jen!

We are a very open group here, feel free to talk about

anything, soaping or not! We're in the planning

stages of a gathering for this summer. If you haven't

already, pop on over to the groups poll page & vote!

What kind of soap do you make? I do mp, but have

dabbled in cphp.

Welcome, Jen! I think you'll like this group! I live in Naples, not too far

from Ithaca. I do CP soap and other stuff and sell mostly at festivals and

on the web but do have things in a couple of gift shops. I might be doing

the festival in Ithaca this June. Still thinking about it but I think I

might go for it. Have you ever been to it? I hear there's usually pretty big

crowds. Sounds like a lot of fun!
