I knew it. I knew the air would have to be thinner up there. LOL --- Original Message ----- From: Jannewilms42@... Sent: Thursday, March 07, 2002 10:57 AM Subject: Re: [ ] messages.. Hey you just answered my question..I kept wondering why I stayed dizzy..It's due to the lack of air up here...LOL

The temporary discomfort of the surgery and it does hurt is nothing compared to conceptualizing living with this pain on going. They will keep you comfortable to the extent possible. You will be just fine. Re: [ ] messages.. hahahaha......it is too!!!! Thanks for the info on the surgery ..Kinda scared just a little..

That drove me nuts too. It continued for about a month

after I quit taking it, but it seems ok now. Even at

work sometimes I had to pull up my pant leg and

scratch! -dz-

/HI Sharon... a friend of mine from the GoldWingTouringAssociation

came by today & worked about six hours cleaning my house....... I gave

her a variety of those muffins +++ A seafood dinner...clam chowder(homemade-Um-um-yum)

fresh crab- & a shrimp cocktail..another friend (old-time freind) dropped

by just for dinner & a nice visit!! Ken is now working 7/12's

for the next 2 months-or more!!! I can remember when

I used to be able to hoold down 2 jobs one was a 10hour shift & the

other was a 9 hr shift!!! Sure can't DO that anymore!!!!!!!

arlene

If you lived close enough I wouldn't even 'make'

you fold cothes<g>!! Also gave them a big bag of blueberries -Yhat

Ken & I picked last summer/fall...... Ken just hates blueberries...but

he did pick them for me when I was laid up last summer-Heck last year I

was laid up most of the year with viruses & thne bacterial infections

that I got fom the original virus I'd picked up--who knows where......Thank

goodness this is an even numbered year-I seem to do the evens better than

the odds!!

I have to go way out to Vernonia(I call it Ver-nowhere) & load a frined's

daughter PC with Corel Word Perfect tomorrow..she's new @ PC -actually so is her

mom<g> but they are pretty quick studies - both of them!!!! Also have to make a

pot of spaghetti & get some firewood..Ken moved the 4x4 out to the woodshed

after he got home & so it's parked & ready for me to load up w/firewood- of

course then I have to haul it back to the house & unload & stack & cover it

sometime tomorrw..Sure hope I'm up for it tomorrow!!?? I didn't even bother

going to bed last night(fri) & have been awake since late AM on Thurs-- & darn it

I'm still going to strong----but my bod is getting kinda stiff & achy..... I

took a sleep & pain med early this AM trying to get rid of my RUQ pains &

hopefully a couple hours of rest..but to know avail!! I just took the stronger

sleep med ( i don't generally take it-- as it tends to make me feel sleepy &

drowsy.....Unfortunately I have a natural high resistance to sleep & pain meds

(always have had-- they seem to just wind me up<g>!!!! Here's hoping that they

& being awake & going for so long will finally make me (help me) sleep or at

least get some rest!!

arlene

Hope - spaghetti turned out real GOOD!!

For the past few months I haven't had to build fires or get the wood in- as Ken

had been laid-off!! But with him working soo many hours--someone has to do it--

it's not going to do it by itself(lol)!!

Good Morning

I'd do the wash and fold it for 3 of those muffins.

I've been splitting and piling some of next years wood this morning. It

sure is nice to have the wood put up early. Now I'm going to make spaghetti

Hi Dennis, I do about 98% of the cooking in our house. Susy cleans up after me. Susy & Mom say that I am a good cook. Susy's Mom was a good cook. When she was still able to. My Mom always enjoyed my cooking when I went back to my parents house " If we were there I would always do the cooking" or they came over to our house. I can't remember it but use to say that I was helping in the kitchen seance I was able to walk.

Jan, Susy is always coming up to me running her fingers through my hair counting my gray hairs. But she is always saying she will never have gray hair and as long as I can aford her to buy her coloring in a bottle I guess she's right. Some friends of ours, Sue asked Ken what he thought about her coloring her hair. Ken "A farmer" said, Well I guess if the barn need's paint then you paint the barn.
