Guest guest
Your e2 may be creeping up and since it has been so low for so long you may just be getting resenistize to it. Like the typcal dopamine response from testoserone for first 10 days then it drops like a rock. TSH can shift in matter of days. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > just > > > > got the > > > > > > lab > > > > > > > > results. i'm 49 > > > > > > > > > > & a testicular cancer > > > > survivor. i'm > > > > > > not going > > > > > > > > to list > > > > > > > > > > all of them because there's a > > > > lot of > > > > > > them. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > testosterone > > > > > > serum > > > > > > > > (total) > > > > > > > > > > 378 range 350-1030 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > bioavailable > > > > > > > > > > T 154 ng/dl range > > > > 95-350 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > LH 7.0 > > > > > > > > > > mIU/mL range 1.5- 9.3 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > FSH 15.4 > > > > > > > > > > mIU/dl range 1.4- 18.1 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Estradiol, > > > > > > > > > > sensitive 14pg/ml > > > > range 3-70 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > T4 8.8ug/dl > > > > > > > > > > range 4.5-12.0 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > T3 > > > > uptake > > > > > > 35% > > > > > > > > range > > > > > > > > > > 24-39 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > progesterone > > > > > > > > > > 0.8ng/ml range 0.3-1.2 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > prealbumin > > > > > > > > > > 34mg/dl range 20-40 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > prolactin > > > > > > 4.4 > > > > > > > > > > ng/ml range 2.1-17.7 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > copper serum > > > > > > > > > > 22.0mg/dl range 70-155 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > thyroxine > > > > > > binding > > > > > > > > globulin > > > > > > > > > > 15ug/ml range 13-39 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > aldosterone > > > > > > > > 14.5ng/dl > > > > > > > > > > range 1.0-16.0 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Norepinephine,P1 > > > > > > > > > > 427pg/ml range > > > > > > > > > > 0-399 HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Insulin like > > > > > > growth > > > > > > > > factor > > > > > > > > > > 106ng/ml range 94-252 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Lp-PLA2 > > > > > > > > > > 60ng/ml range > > > > > > > > > > > > > > 131-199 LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Vitamin D > > > > > > 24.6ng/ml > > > > > > > > > > range 32.0-100 > > > > > > LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > 24hr > > > > salivary > > > > > > > > cortisoland DHEA > > > > > > > > > > (Genova Diagnostics) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > early AM > > > > > > > > > > 0.96 range 0.27-1.18 > > > > NORMAL > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > noon > > > > > > > > > > 0.08 range > > > > 0.10-0.41 LOW > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > early PM > > > > > > > > > > 0.06 range 0.05-0.27 > > > > MARGINAL > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > late PM > > > > > > > > > > <0.03 range > > > > > > > > > > 0.03-0.14 LOW > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I > > > > know this is > > > > > > a lot of > > > > > > > > data to > > > > > > > > > > take in but any help would be > > > > greatly > > > > > > appeciated. > > > > > > > > I am > > > > > > > > > > experiencing ED, very low > > > > libido, night > > > > > > time > > > > > > > > sweats, poor > > > > > > > > > > sleep patterns, my remaining > > > > nut is > > > > > > about 1/2 the > > > > > > > > size it > > > > > > > > > > was 2 yrs. ago. Guest guest
Your T has been low for a long time and it takes time to rebalance. If your total T hits 700=900 on the labs and e2 is in check then hcg will be implemented. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > just got the lab > > > results. i'm 49 > > > > > & a testicular cancer survivor. i'm not going > > > to list > > > > > all of them because there's a lot of them. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > testosterone serum > > > (total) > > > > > 378 range 350-1030 > > > > > > > > > > bioavailable > > > > > T 154 ng/dl range 95-350 > > > > > > > > > > LH 7.0 > > > > > mIU/mL range 1.5- 9.3 > > > > > > > > > > FSH 15.4 > > > > > mIU/dl range 1.4- 18.1 > > > > > > > > > > Estradiol, > > > > > sensitive 14pg/ml range 3-70 > > > > > > > > > > T4 8.8ug/dl > > > > > range 4.5-12.0 > > > > > > > > > > T3 uptake 35% > > > range > > > > > 24-39 > > > > > > > > > > progesterone > > > > > 0.8ng/ml range 0.3-1.2 > > > > > > > > > > prealbumin > > > > > 34mg/dl range 20-40 > > > > > > > > > > prolactin 4.4 > > > > > ng/ml range 2.1-17.7 > > > > > > > > > > copper serum > > > > > 22.0mg/dl range 70-155 > > > > > > > > > > thyroxine binding > > > globulin > > > > > 15ug/ml range 13-39 > > > > > > > > > > aldosterone > > > 14.5ng/dl > > > > > range 1.0-16.0 > > > > > > > > > > Norepinephine,P1 > > > > > 427pg/ml range > > > > > 0-399 HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > Insulin like growth > > > factor > > > > > 106ng/ml range 94-252 > > > > > > > > > > Lp-PLA2 > > > > > 60ng/ml range > > > > > 131-199 LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > Vitamin D 24.6ng/ml > > > > > range 32.0-100 LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > 24hr salivary > > > cortisoland DHEA > > > > > (Genova Diagnostics) > > > > > > > > > > early AM > > > > > 0.96 range 0.27-1.18 NORMAL > > > > > > > > > > noon > > > > > 0.08 range 0.10-0.41 LOW > > > > > > > > > > early PM > > > > > 0.06 range 0.05-0.27 MARGINAL > > > > > > > > > > late PM > > > > > <0.03 range > > > > > 0.03-0.14 LOW > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I know this is a lot of > > > data to > > > > > take in but any help would be greatly appeciated. > > > I am > > > > > experiencing ED, very low libido, night time > > > sweats, poor > > > > > sleep patterns, my remaining nut is about 1/2 the > > > size it > > > > > was 2 yrs. ago. Guest guest
Here is how it works as your levels went down things in your body and mind did not work right they needed the Testosterone this is why some feel fatigue, Depression, loss of libido, brain fog, muscle loss and this list goes on. After you get your levels up then your body starts to fix them problems this is a slow process and takes time you feel better a little everyday for some this takes 6 months other a yr. But first you need to get leveled. Guest guest
How were your adrenal and thyroid functions? How fast did your ED go away. I do feel better in the fact that my hypoglycemia type symptoms have lessened considerably. That's a blessing. But the extreme ED, lack of libido, tendonitis etc. all are not going away. I'm at the maximum dose of T. > > >Here is how it works as your levels went down things in your body and mind did not work right they needed the Testosterone this is why some feel fatigue, Depression, loss of libido, brain fog, muscle loss and this list goes on. Guest guest
30% of the people need to have thyroid adjusted when on TRT. I just had to adjust 3 out of 3 so far next time this will be examined completely. > > > > >Here is how it works as your levels went down things in your body and mind did not work right they needed the Testosterone this is why some feel fatigue, Depression, loss of libido, brain fog, muscle loss and this list goes on. Guest guest
Phil, you have 27 yrs of TRT history? You didn't have ED issues in the beginning? Retro, I don't know your history , but the same question applies to your history as well. I thought low T and ED go hand-in-hand. I have no choice but to be patient with the process back to where I'd like to be. I quess I have to accept the outcome. There was a guy posting here last month saying his penial function did'nt return. I don't know his situation, but maybe this is what's in my future. Since I have a history of testicular cancer, maybe this could be a factor. I had radiation though, not chemo. > > > > > > > >How were your adrenal and thyroid functions? If I recall your T is so low your E2 is low also. that would be an ED issue and libido killer. I suspect when you get your T up and your E2 down, things will improve. Guest guest
Retro answer me this, if my T is now in the 700 range and E2 still low, will the E2 come up or could it stay low for whatever reason? If it should come up, whats the average time this takes? I know this is a progressive process, you guys are trying to beat this into my head, but I hear guys that go on TRT starting to feel great and staying feeling good. > > >Phil, you have 27 yrs of TRT history? Guest guest
Hi Jim no I did not have ED or loss of libido when I was first tested my Total T was 120 very low. At the time I suffered from Fatigue so bad I had to push myself to do things and I hid it from my family and job. Until I could not get out of bed one day and started to have Panic Attacks do to the worry about what the hell was wrong with me. It's all in my Story. This link is a link to it I am did this for the owner of STTM web site that I was a mod at. She put this in her new book. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=9239 Janie is a good web friend of mine. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/book/ Sex was not a problem for me for the first 10 yrs on TRT even if I did not feel like having it do to the fatigue I made it a point to have it 2x's to 3x's a week. I started on TRT at about age 38 and by age 50 I had ED so bad I needed a penis pump and ring to have sex. And I could not reach an orgasm. I later say 10 yrs later found out this was due to high levels of Estradiol. And getting this down fixed my problems and a lot more like the Panic Attacks, brain fog, sore and hard nipples, thyroid, feeling hot and sweating day and night, having rashes and looking red on the upper parts of my body and face. Now after having Heart bypass sugary and the meds they have me on I have ED again. I still get night time and morning wood but can't keep it up for sex. So I am getting a shot called Trimix you give this shot in the side of your penis and it gets it up for a good 2 hrs and as hard as a rock. IF you go to are brother forum and go to there files section under Trimix you can read all about it. There is not reason for a man not to be able to get it up for sex today. Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/ Dr. even sells this to his men when Viagra or Challis will not work. Guest guest
Jim we are reassing the thyroid, adrenals, and testosterone levels I have an idea that thyroid took a nose dive like many times it does when TRT is started ...About 4-5 weeks is when it usually surfaces. We are ruling ever factor out.. > > > > > > > > > > > > > >How were your adrenal and thyroid functions? > > How fast > > > > did your ED go away. Guest guest
Once testosteorne is in place and e2 is in check then we will add in HCG to give the finally kick. That is why we are using serum vs urine to give a compatible reading. Looking at thyroid wll also be another big impact as well.. > > > > >Phil, you have 27 yrs of TRT history? Guest guest
Jim if you want to get your E2 levels up fast do some HCG or take 50 mgs of DHEA 2x's a day for a month. Guest guest
I've been reading that DHEA usage should be avoided by guys that had testicular cancer, prostate enlargment or prostate cancer. I also read that this was something that a government organization came up with in the 90's to discourage its use. Does anyone know about this? Guest guest
We are preping him for hcg it has to be done in proper sequence or it could come back to bite us in the ass later on down the road. Taking little longer time getting things right is going to act for better therapy. I wish I would have somebody that did it right the first time and listened I would not have been this mess in the first place. > > > > > > > > > > >Phil, you have 27 yrs of TRT history? > > You didn't > > > > have ED issues in the beginning? Guest guest
Jim you bring up a good point, the reason being is that there 2/16 hydrox ratio are altered which will be explored in the very near future. That is why these pathways need to be check before commencing. In many cases on could use 7 keto to help over come this as it gives same benefits of dhea with out the down side of e2. Your case has to be handle with percise percision due to the factors involved. > > > > > > > > >Phil, you have 27 yrs of TRT history? You didn't > > > have ED issues in the beginning?
