My vet makes his own but I buy mine at the Vitamin Shoppe for about $20 for 8

ounces. This does last a long time. I use 1 big dropperfuls a day. It has 30

ppm (parts per million) but my dentist says that 10 or 30 ppm does not really

make that much difference for him. Dudley has the good sites on CS and he gives

You do not have to worry about turning blue with any brands today. In the past,

CS was hard for the body to excrete and it would get stuck in the tissues. No

problem for me because it kills bacteria there, especially in the bladder where

bacteria grows. However, today the CS is so refined that this does not happen.

My dentist was taking CS long before the refinement process and he still is not

blue. I do not know what this buy on TV did. I know that he rubbed it on his

face and he did not stop. He was crazy and did a lot of harm to CS

publicity-wise. Both my vet and dentist still have a strong reddish hue to

their skin, no sign of blue. Do not worry about this.

Remember, CS sold today is very refined.

In Berkeley Springs WV, there are several physicists and former experimental

test pilots who brew their own and swear by it (like Dudley and myself). It is

going to be more course but none of them have turned blue after years of

Shoppe brand. One shot a day does it for me and, as I posted yesterday, I was

coming down with something and a dropper shot of CS " nipped it in the bud! "

My vet has CS water in the water cooler that he makes himself.

I really need to buy one of these " makers " that Dudley suggested because my vet

I saw an interview with this man, Karason, where he said he initially

started drinking CS after reading about it and suggesting it to a friend who

had health problems. He said he felt obligated to drink some with his

friend after recommending it. Then he found that it helped some of his own

health issues. But he drank a QUART or more a day!

When he appeared on Oprah, Dr. Mehmet Oz said was astonished by his

appearance and kept checking around Karason's collar to be sure it wasn't

there should be a little squirter thing that comes with the collidal silver

you use that and put it in bottle water or just use a squirt of it in your

A while back I made a post called " Zapper Testimonial " post #6913,

which I have copied below in its entirety. I am not cutting it off

intentionally, because this post is an update.

My friend with colon and liver cancer, who the doctor's said was

going to die, just called me with great news. You can read below

what all he has been doing. In addition, he started the Hulda

parasite treatment this past Monday.

The last time he was at the doctor they tried to give him a

prescription for a strong pain killer because they said he was going

to need it soon because he won't take any more chemo and the cancer

I use it occasionally either internally or spray it on the skin, also in eyes, ears etc. Originally I was told to take it (augmentin I think it was called 23ppm) - I saw this one on a US site recently, but I ordered it from Germany I believe from somewhere which only sells through doctors - it is supposed to be somewhat better than most of the ones you can buy. This is important as colloidal silver can lead to argyrrhia (definitely wrong spelling, but something like that) - blue skin which can be permanent. This was years ago & at the time it cost £40 for a smallish bottle.

Since then I have bought a colloidal silver "maker" from .net or .com (the sites were connected) & I am happy with this. This makes the colloidal silver cheaply & can vary the ppm (parts per million).

I have also used this for my dogs. I have a miniature poodle with various serious ailments & sometimes he gets a problem where he swells up & if I leave it a few hours before taking him to the vet it will lead to a few anxious days wondering if he will pull through, but I have found that if I give him colloidal silver at the first signs of problems, the problem has just gone away (so far!).

Robyn- I haven't actually used the full protocol for Beck or or

know any cure rates. I can't say I've seen a lot of testimonies on

their site but there are some. claims a lot of success in her

books but seemed to lack long term follow-up. We did the herbs for the

Parasite Cleanse at one point and also tried to get any of the

carcinogenic chemicals such as Isopropyl Alcohol, etc. out of our

house, if you read her books they list a lot of things. I slacked off

on some of her stuff since I couldn't stand washing dishes with soap,

it didn't remove the grease. I try to buy natural cosmetics and

cleaning agents without bad chemicals and preservatives. Both Beck

and use zappers but we still haven't tried that. We have also

used Essiac tea on and off for years, and some internal Black Salve

tablets, it's hard to say just what the impact was but DH had only very

slow growth for the last 15 years, but last year had one growth appear

on his head that had us more concerned so we started Budwig and cleaned

up our diet.

I was not confident we were doing Budwig enough so started my husband

on LDN because it is supposed to stabilize by boosting the immune

system, we still do Budwig as much as we can and changed out diet to

get rid of non-Budwig foods.

Read Dee's (and others') testimonies below about LDN, she has lung

cancer and is 16 months past being given a few months to live. She is

trying other things besides LDN, first Cesium and now Artemix.

We have also done Essiac tea, it is said to be compatible with Budwig

but I read something about it conflicting with LDN so I recently

stopped doing the Essiac herbs we were taking in a powdered form. If

you have a good natural doctor you might be able to get him to

prescribe LDN or prescriptions are only required in the United States

as they are US law and not needed from other countries. I ordered

originally from India but just now placed an order with a Canadian

Pharmacy, it will take 2-4 weeks to arrive though there is a faster

option of 9-11 days costing just a little more-

same as River, No prescription necessary. I have had no problems with

them. Type Naltrexone in the " search " box and  you see Revia (same as

naltrexone) 50mg 30 tablets for $87.99 plus S & H. " Since I just ordered

I don't know if there will be any problems.

Do you juice? Asparagus juice is supposed to be very anti-cancer.

I'll send you a file on it. I was cooking it daily but decided I

should be juicing it instead. Beets and carrots are supposed to be

very good too.

DH just passed the 7 month mark on LDN and has been stable. We do not

do testing but his lumps are just under the skin. We also do some

herbs, like he was taking Paw Paw but recently ran out. He drinks

papaya leaf tea from Mountain Rose Herbs and takes Serrazymes from

Swanson's, enzymes are supposed to remove the fibrin cloak from cancer

cells so the immune system can recognize and remove them, and also

prevent metastases.

I take Low dose Naltrexone for stage 4B cancer and YES it does stop

the cancer and thus SAVED my life. (Oncologist last meeting, FEb 5th

2007 said I was

terminal and get my affairs in order and prepare for palliative chemo

and death.)

But it is NOT a cure, it just stops disease. So if I stop taking LDN

which is inexpensive and no side effects, my cancer will start to grow

again. So I am on it indefinitely but it is far better to take a little

capsule every night than the eternal dirt nap in my book.

LDN does save lives and works for so many diseases, MS, Parkinson's ,

Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Crohn's and

many others. The best drug in the world in my book... Nobel prize for

Dr. Bihari!

Have to jump in here as I have been on LDN for 9 months and stabilized

my  terminal cancer.... ( not sure what I am classified at now " dead

man walking? " )

 

But I do  heavy flax seed  and cottage cheese in the morning and all 

vegetarian  the rest of the day.  Have to admit that  since adding the 

milled flax seed  to my daily diet have noticed many  changes to  my

overall health and body.

 

Not sure if it has impacted the tumors but next scan will show that but

over health and  well being has been dramatic.

 

So for Budwig Light  I concur  it works for me. 

 

LDN is a life saver though also.

LDN is not a cure for any disease. The links section on this board

provides most of the information needed about what LDN does. But

cancer patient's who have NO other alternative, it has given us many

a chance.

Dr. Bihari's results sharply contrast to prior usual cancer treatment

outcomes: either a cancer-induced death or a total cure. LDN therapy

presents a viable third alternative, the possible long-term

stabilization and/or gradual reduction of tumor mass volume.

I have been on LDN about about 15 months now when told Feb 5th 2007

I would only have 4-9 months to live and nother further could be done.

Long term stabilization is very different than a cure but easier to

deal with than death. Now have a chance to add extra protocols along

with LDN to give the cancer a good fight.

May 15, 2008 CT SCAN shows the nodules still growing slowly which

gives me time to try additional treatments with LDN which will target

the largest nodule directly.

June 13, 2008 I underwent Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) to destroy

the largest nodule in my left lobe. Just got out of hospital and the

treatment was successful. I am minus one nodule. Little hard to

breathe yet and a bit sore as they went in through the chest but not

worse for wear.

I've now reset the " clock " on the largest tumor growth, expecting that

the LDN will continue to hold down the growth of the existing nodules,

extending my high quality of life. LDN has had no side effects with

me, and anyone seeing me would never believe I had cancer, since I

feel and appear healthy.

It's now been 15 months since diagnoses with metastatic lung cancer,

and well beyond the 9 months my oncologist had given me even with

chemotherapy. LDN has been successful in controlling the cancer growth

with no side effects, a success beyond anything that conventional

medicine has been able to achieve for my cancer type.

I had follow up with my doctor who did RFA ( radio frequency ablation)

today and he said it was all a success plus was curious that all my

lung tumors showed calcifications around them. I asked " what is

that? " He said they have dead cells all around them. Something is

making them ill and die.

He didn't know about LDN last week and did his research and was

impressed, he found a compounder ( buying pure naltrexone from Bristol

Meyers) and ordered LDN from this coming Monday. We now will have

a supply here in Hong Kong for LDN and I am delighted. This is

fantastic news.

He was most interested as he said from his reading and understanding

LDN is mainly used for MS, Crohn's etc. but seeing my scans he

realizes the benefit for cancer as well.

Finally finding a " open minded " doctor so willing to explore more

with LDN and to think of all the people that can be helped now. This

is exciting news.

Yes I have to say I think it all works together. Where one is not

strong enough the other helps out.

I am taking LDN , Artemix and Paw Paw now. I think the 3 together is

a good fighting machine... Didn't take any morphine when I had the

RFA so suffering a bit with the swollen lung but should be good in

another week or so.

I will go in for a scan again in late July so that will tell me how

all three combinations are working for me.

Glad to finally have someone go over the scans with me and see the

calcifications on the tumors. That was a bit of good news for me.

Where do I start with my 'story', it could take quite a while, but I

shall try and condense it as much as possible.  My name is Celia and I

live in Scotland, I am in my 50's, so not exactly a  spring chick  -

but hey - working on it!!

 

May of 2006 gave me shocking news, that I had a chest full of cancerous

lymph nodes, tears and grief were the most prevalent, grief for the

life I may not have, and for those I would leave behind.  The primary

tumour was never found, but I am 'treated' as 'lung' and thus recieved

palliative care only, eight doses of chemo, followed by 12 doses of

radiation, it was expected I had 6 - 12 months of living to do. 

 

I also have/had the following -  mild lupus, IBS (so bad sometimes I

dare not go out) , Diverticula,  COPD, thyroid problems (had partial

thyroidectomy years ago) osteo arthritis, high blood pressure, high

cholestrol, chronic fatigue.

 

After my conventional treatment, the Onc was amazed when I went into

remission, he assured me this would not last, that I had less than 1%

of making it.  Not for me to accept that!  Treatment did not seem to be

forthcoming after that initial work, it was a case of watch and wait, 

I will not wait, I will not watch, I went in search for anything that

might help me. 

 

Of course I went on the usual supplements, but knew this was not

enough, changed my diet, but not radically, red meat I could not eat,

and my diet consists mainly of eggs and fish - plus veg and fruit.  I

have also discovered a penchant for the darkest chocolate I can find,

at least 85 - 86% cocoa.  I read about B17 and went to one of Philip

Day's lectures, I started taking this almost every day in kernel form.

In January 2007 I had a very bad excacerbation of COPD which landed me

in  hospital, I came out on 02 and steroids.

 

I then learned about Iscador, a derivitive of the Misteltoe, and

fortunately as there is a homeopathic hospital not too far from me I

got a referral and now use Iscador series two,  on a regular basis. 

Still I searched the net, and lo and behold came across LDN after never

hearing of it before, it seemed like a miracle, I had to have it, I

fought for it and got it on the NHS so it costs me nothing.  I got my

first bottle but did not dare take it, I was on steroids regularly for

my chest, and had to have my hip replaced and was thus on pain

killers.  Each night I looked at the bottle, and each night I thought -

shall it be now?   As soon as my hip pain began to diminish, and I

could come off the steroids, I counted the days - and then on day ten I

took my first LDN!  Don't know why, but I was frightened of it....

 

My first feelings on LDN were as though I was on a  bit of a high, I

felt great, I had some disturbed nights, not too many strange dreams,

and have worked out by now when it is best for me to take it. This is

usually about 9 - 30 pm, and as I take sleepers  an hour later this

seems to be working for me.  At the time of writing - (1st June

2008)  I have been on LDN for about eight months.

 

Very soon after staring the LDN I found I did not need the 02 for my

COPD,  I only need to nebulise maybe once a day - if that, and today I

walked the furthest I have been able to for what seems ages, it was a

miracle, still can't believe I did it!  One thing I noticed early on

was that I was not spending half my life in the loo....  I had been

referred for another sigmoidoscopy but cancelled it, to this day I have

never had the bowel problem like I did before LDN....

 

My energy began to return, I had had chronic fatigue for many years,

but slowly I am getting more energetic, I was fit enough to have a hip

replacement about six months ago - oh the relief!!  My last X ray shows

no signs of the cancer which was supposed to have killed me over a year

ago, my blood pressure is now normal after  being too high for a few

years, I had to come off BP medications, my lupus does not bother me at

all..  I have a good appetite and am gaining weight, I feel quite good

all things considered, and I recommend LDN to everyone!

I have much the same to report as Pam. Within 10 weeks of starting to

take LDN, a CT scan revealed that tumor growth had ceased. A couple of

months later all pain had also stopped.

I saw my 'Onc' today regarding my May scan results. Absolutely no

change in the size of my tumour since the previous scan (Sept '07) and

no metastases. My 'Onc' decided the success is due to the power of

'auto suggestion'! Yes, I did roll up as soon as I got out of his

office!
