Guest guest
Hi Gill, It's (Ag) probably best reserved for those antiobiotic resistant bugs, and will cause greying of the skin if used in excess. I believe honey is also a good prospect in those cases of superficial infection, (my understanding is that they're using honey in a medical setting these days....don't know how many or where, though) The pathogens can't withstand osmotic stress, there is no defense to it. For the same reason, plain old golden syrup ought to do the same trick....bit sticky, but better than putting up with MRSA and it's pathological buddies. Candida, being a fungus/yeast, sugar wouldn't be a wonderful idea, but I imagine that silver would 'mangle' several critical enzymes in a fungus/yeast. best wishes Bob >

Guest guest
Lots of people do not believe this (blue skin) can happen. I do believe it, but think that you would need to take lots (cup fulls rather than 10ml or whatever). For balance I feel that I should also say that lots of people are anti it because it is a metal & I am chelating mercury myself, but my altdoc prescribed this to me while knowing I had a heavy metal problem (live blood test) and I trust him completely so I believe it to be safe for me. Guest guest
Hi Bob, and now completely off on a tangent- pathogens in fish can be killed off by increasing/ decreasing the salinity of the water, as you said microrganisms cannot withstand the osmotic pressure- and this can be done without killing the fish! there is probably a whole world of ways to deal with infection without using antibiotics. Guest guest
Hi bob, As an ex beekeeper ( lost the use of the land for my hives) I have used honey for infected cuts on myself and my guineapigs with great success filthy mess so you need a large absorbent dressing. The poor guineapig was pregnant and had been bitten by one of the others, so she couldn't have antibiotics. The sugars also get the swelling down too.Active principle seems to be peroxides as well as some tree resins from the propolis. Guest guest
Colloidal silver should be stored in airtight green or amber glass bottles and kept out of direct light. Plastic, as well as exposure to light can cause the molecules to degrade and clump into larger particles which your body is not able to use to best effect. If you make your own with distilled water and a good home kit, you can consistantly produce high quality colloids with the strength you want (5-10 ppm). I use a resealable Grolsch beer bottle (green glass) after draining it responsibly.

Guest guest
...i use up to 4 2oz shots per day to control hep-C. taking more doesn't seem to be of any additional benefit. i tried 1 liter/day for 4 months and all that did was make my stomach a little weird. i must get off my beloved cigar habit & you your cigarettes as really we're both just spinning our wheels until we do. for bronchitis and pneumonia i've read lots of success stories with putting CS in a nebulizer, or ultrasonic humidifier (must be ultrasonic and not steam vaporizer). no need to dilute CS, but it's a good idea to drink plenty of water also to keep it moving through your system. while going nuts from tobacco withdrawals drinking water and getting vigorous excercise helps a lot. lately i've been adding 3 drops of 3% H2O2 (food grade - no stablizers added) to my 2oz shots of CS and find it energizing... there's supposed to be other benifits but i haven't studied H2O2 enough to be able to speak of that well. if it sits for very long after the peroxide is added the peroxide flavor goes away, meaning it's used up in reacting with the larger silver particles making them smaller or into ionic silver ... which is fine, but no direct benefit of taking in H2O2. so i add the drops and drink right away. if the CS hasn't aged at least a few days adding H2O2 will turn it some colors, most ofter a beautiful inky blue, so if you only make CS in very small batches for immediate use then don't add the H2O2. cheers, bobL > Colloidal Silver > > > Finally I made some of it with the SP-Lite I got last month. Guest guest
Thanks Bob, I guess I still have the cough. but will continue taking 2-3oz and see how it goes. As for smoking, i'm waiting for my phospotadyle choline (lecithin) to come. It along with tyrosine, 5HTP (tryptophan) and glutamine stops smoking. The formula's in the book End Your Addiction Now by Gant. Go to a Borders or B & N and check it out. I tried it twice & it worked both times. But you have to take the p-choline for some six months & i had only 4-6 week's suply of it then. Now I've ordered more this time. Its difficult to get it here in India. Guest guest
there are some strange variables in silver making. solar flares and planetary postions come into play, believe it or not. during intense solar flares in fall 2006 things went pretty screwy sometimes. i was just getting started then, so it was partly me for sure. i find it really hard to get totally consistent results using very consistent procedures and materials. recently i had a batch come out pale golden for the first time in a couple years, for no reason that i can account for... musta got some contaminant in there i guess. coffee filter papers, several layers, after the CS has settled down a few days will remove any black oxides or whatever fallout. > colloidal silver > > greetings: lately when I'm using the silver ingots for CS > they turn dark and the bubbles that form on the sides seem to > fall off in dark clusters. Guest guest
the much stronger, 1100 ppm that i started with for years, and knocked out a abcess in my jaw, which antibiotics couldn't get to, it was almost dark brown...it worked well for everything...but they stopped making it....or i'd still be using it....it was colloidal and ionic..something like innovnat.com...but a little larger than the ...00008 or .0008 microns that i am using now...something like .005 microns....never had any problems with it...i liked it because i could put it on my teeth, or anyplace for local healing and it would stay put.... do hope my present silveredge new micron maker is as good.... ariella > > > there are some strange variables in silver making. solar flares and > planetary postions come into play, believe it or not. during intense > solar > flares in fall 2006 things went pretty screwy sometimes. i was just > getting > started then, so it was partly me for sure. > i find it really hard to get totally consistent results using very > consistent procedures and materials. > recently i had a batch come out pale golden for the first time in a > couple > years, for no reason that i can account for... musta got some > contaminant in > there i guess. > > coffee filter papers, several layers, after the CS has settled down a > few > days will remove any black oxides or whatever fallout. > > > colloidal silver > > > > greetings: lately when I'm using the silver ingots for CS > > they turn dark and the bubbles that form on the sides seem to > > fall off in dark clusters. Why even bother with coloidal silver, when there are so many safer substances to take that do what they claim colloidal silver does? I agree with Sally Fallon at the Weston A. Guest guest
I would think that even if one were not going to drink colloidal silver, it still might be useful to have around as first aid/antiseptic. For example, if I got a cut or a burn (but would probably not use it on a deep puncture wound). Pam > +++Hi Pam. There are many other natural substances that are safer and more effective for cuts or burns. Aloe gel is great for burns. Mixing hydrogen peroxide and non-chlorinated water helps with cuts and even deep puncture wounds. Of course there are many others. My daughter got a nail through her foot which swelled up and was angry and red. My neighbor came over with her natural remedy, which was non-chlorinated water and hydrogen peroxide. She soaked her foot in it (can't recall the amount of H202) and afterward bandages soaked in it were wrapped around her foot. It was amazing how fast her foot went back to normal.
