We don't have the play, rewind, etc., at our house. About once a week we go

through a major rewind session because nothing gets rewound. However, right

before we moved, came into my room and said " Mama come here, we

decorated! " . And they did. They pulled the tape out of about 5 movies and

had it strung all over their playroom. And they were so proud!

Yes, Yes, Yes!! It's amazing how much violence is in these Disney movies.

Now here is what scares me.....I'm so afraid he will begin to mimic some of

the action in these films. Last week he got on top of the bleachers that

were folded and started to jump. His daycare provider almost had a heart

attack. I'm sure we are going to hear from alot more parents on this.

Oh Jill, he may very well learn to work the remote better than you do.

Like a typical male, will ask me to " change. change " ....work the

buttons for him...sigh! I get so confused switching to DVD, VCR, cable,

TV...and he has it all figured out.

ps I bought my own TV recently...won't let anyone touch my remote!

Bridget hates it when we rewind with the picture on the screen. She leaves the

room until she hears the music or beginning ads. She also hates it fast

forwarded.

No problem here, except just watches lots!

At this moment we're watching the cartoon version that they released last

year (I think) for about the 100th time. UGH.

loves to go through the cabinet and take out the videos that she want to

watch, this could be anything from animated Disney to something like Jurrasic

Park or and Hooch (hey she likes Hooch, hehe) but she then takes all

these videos out of their jackets and stacks them up on the tv. sometimes

it's two big stacks of about 10 each. she then starts to watch them. Most

of the time she doesnt' bother with the rewinding but just starts the next.

LOL but with Grinch she's been rewinding it. also took her to see

Monsters last sun. for her birthday and she really liked that (so did ,

hehe) .

But I had not had these big stacks of videos sitting on my tv for a month or

so now and last weekend on suddenly appeared. I looked at and said,

what are all those movies doing on the tv? She looked at them.... then

at me.....and giggled. Little stinker. hehe

I know I'm taking this a little off topic, but I could use your advice

Christmas shopping for Grandma. I want to give her email and web access

but keep it simple. (She tinkers too much with system settings on her

computer! I should never have told her to enroll in a computer class.

She learned just enough to be dangerous! LOL)

Do any of you have experience with MSN WebTV or AOL WebTV? How do

they compare in ease of use? what you can access using their service?

accessibility to tech support?

I will make the 2000 mile round trip to set it up for her, but after

that, at $25 per month, I think they should take care of it for her ;-)

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Hi

Glad I don't have to shop much. I have been trying to make my gifts but can

only do so much a day. I am hurting again and feel so terribly exhausted.

My husband is going to help me tonight bake a last batch of cookies. He does

all the hard work and I make a good supervisor.

Happy Holidays

Barb
