Guest guest Posted February 17, 2006 Report Posted February 17, 2006 Is there any research online or in a respected medical journal anywhere that documents in a scientific way with a control group and all that the zapper works? I have found anecdotal claims but NO research on it to back it up. So I am still sitting on the fence. I can't afford to waste money on another thing not backed up by some valid tests. Joanie Quote
Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Just to let you know, there was a controlled study - done by two scientists at Washington State University - of the zapper, showing that it definitely killed E-Coli bacteria. J.B. I don't think discounting studies validity works in this case. It would seem very easy to test this as you could test for parasites and infectious agents before and after the use of the zapper. A control group would be easy too. Simply people infected with what ever agent you are testing for who are not using zapper. I can't believe there is not one controlled study of this. IF not I guess I am skeptical as they are being used and sold, and noone ever produced any documentation of results. Seems odd. Quote
Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 So big Parma isn't interested. It would still seem that some researcher in this big world would of tested this by now. In the whole big world of homeopathic and holistic medicine it would seem that someone has studied it. I would like more information on the University study if you have as I would like to read it. Thanks Quote
Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 It depends on whom you ask and which journal you may be referencing as to whether or not they are considered respected. Much of the statistical analysis done by drug companies does not follow " respected " statistical rules for studies, such as using a random sampling of the population for their test subjects, testing for a long enough time period (I've heard of 1 month as less studies, for example), using a double-blind, placebos, and likely numerous other violations to slant the " rules " , including drawing the wrong conclusions from the already biased results, and not reporting the bad things that occurred - only what they wanted reported. I generally tend towards being very suspect of any studies I hear about. Note I've got a BSME and a master's degree which included many different statistics courses. Our teachers generally told use you can make a single group of data tell you almost anything you wanted it to, and they said it was very important to set up your analysis using random samples large enough to make a good inference. Other important considerations are also inherit in any study, depending on what you want to learn about. After that, interpreting the results is another art form (or science). An example from my personal experience is a long-term study by a local hospital on cholesterol. I started the Atkins diet as the study begin, and my cholesterol lowered considerably. As they did their surveys and questioned me about my lifestyle, they refused to write down what I told them about my food choices and the fact I was not eating processed food and so on. They " summarily dismissed " me and I was never invited back for the next screening. This just confirmed me suspicions that I need to take care of myself, trusting to some extent that which I felt was good for me from my own research - with mistakes being made along the way. I continue this effort to this day and am currently on no prescription drugs nor any over-the-counter drugs. A lot of factors in my life contribute to my health... Anyway, the route you take can be confirmed by doing (or having a professional) applied kinesiology (muscle testing) - this will tell you if a particular model of zapper (or zappers in general) will be effective in your (or yours) quest for optimal health. You can even use muscle testing to check the truth or falsehood (see Hawkin's work) of the study. Good Luck! Hope this is of use. Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 You're joking? Google " Big Pharma " ....read all you can...then ask yourself that question again.... The short answer. No, of course not. It's NOT in " their " interest. The only study I was aware of the even cam e close was done by the Univ. of Washington. a few years ago...and I don't think it was the double blind you're looking for.... Another problem with questions like these is not acknowledging the fact that the " testers " are smart enough to design a " study " to get the result they want to show... For me the most egregious example of that was the St. 's " study " from a few years back in which they tested an amount *already known* to be insufficient to give relief of major depression... Of course when they made their press release they simply didn't mention that little tidbit. You don't want to waste money? Build your own... And stop wasting money on biased MDs...at least find one that asdvertises complimentary medicine... --- csunbean@... wrote: > Is there any research online or in a respected > medical journal anywhere that > documents in a scientific way with a control group > and all that the zapper > works? Guest guest Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Good call, Kep. The current medical community doesn't even want us cured! How can they make all that money on us if we are healthy??? And yes, those tests can be made to say just about anything if the testers manipulate the data to suit their 'hypothesis'. All I know is how much money I wasted on the 'medical' management tools and supplies for diabetes, to say nothing of all those basically worthless Dr. visits, and I just couldn't balk at 150 or so dollars for a good zapper. Sure, insurance covered most of the costs of the traditional approach, but now that I don't have any insurance, I for sure couldn't afford to deal with diabetes their way! And remember, they charge WAY more than we do, so they could afford to refund 9 out of 10 with markups of 50,000% and more... Blessings! You mean like the study recently released from London Homeopathic showing the effectiveness of Homeopathy when combined with other medicines? It was drowned out with a flood in the press of anti-homeopathy articles...even The Lancet had to come out and discredit homeopathy in general at the same time the announcement was made by the Hospital...i.e., even if it were to be done they'd bury it, decredit it, bring lawsuits against, etc. I assume your familiar with Quackwatch's legal harrassment of Dr. . Guest guest Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Yeah, I guess I was a tad overzealous in my response...but the points were all valid I believe... When you say " they don't want us cured " you're talking my talk! People talk alot about conspiracy theories nowadays....but I believe the worst conpriracy theory of all is our current health care system! It started for me when I read " The Cancer Cure That Worked " about Royal Rife and what " they " did to him and other of the time....burning labs, throwing people in jail and throwing away the key, etc.....Keely, Rife, Tesla, Weston Price, Kellogg (the sane one), and more.... And all this coincides with the formation of the AMA and FDA....it was A New Deal alright. They began promoting a diet foods and a lifestyle they *knew* would make us sick...anyone that disagreed was labelled a fraud or quack by the AMA and their cronies... I swear it all gives me the red ass!...LOL It has to be the greatest conspiracy...cancer and all our modern illnesses. --- sandie55a <amhall@...> wrote: > Good call, Kep. Guest guest Posted February 20, 2006 Report Posted February 20, 2006 I didn't find you overzealous, at all! Also, thank you for sharing what you've found about the history of these kinds of healing modalities! I hadn't heard that before about the witch hunts of Rife, and the rest, although I do vaguely recall something about Tesla's work being 'lost' somewhere along the way. Although I guess I am not surprised by that information. I do, like you, think there is a major conspiracy against the american public with regards to health practices and getting us sicker, but slowly, so they can maximize profits. I am also interested in the possibility of a one world order group, who's adgenda would be very much served by the american public being sickly and less likely to be paying attention to 'their' government, not only for the profits the medical field makes (which are mind-boggling) but because a sickly population is a lot less likely to resist, especially if they are dependant on 'prescription' drugs (and therefore controllable by those who perscribe and dispense said drugs, eh??). But that sort of thing is probably beyond the scope of this list, and I appreciate that things can stay on a more basic level here, i.e. focusing on healing on a personal level. Still, I don't think it hurts to be aware that we are outside the box in choosing these healing methods, and there is some amount of risk, as I am sure Dr. could testify to. Guest guest Posted February 21, 2006 Report Posted February 21, 2006 There is one in which you speak of, Dr. Hulda herself. She did all the research you should ever need. There are many case studies in her books. Read them. She makes no money from people making their own zappers or from buying them as she doesn't sell anything except books, which she even allows us to copy from provided we credit her for the information. This is as unbiased as it gets. So what more do you need to give something a try? Build your own, it will cost under $50 depending on how you want to build it. You can do it for as little as $25 if you do the " shoebox " method Unfortunately, you will never get the studies you are asking for because no one can make enough money from the millions they will have to spend testing these theories. They figure that if everyone can just build their own " cure " , where will the money come from to pay for these tests. Everyone on this forum has nothing but good to say about these miracle devices. We are not paid spokespeople. We are good-hearted people seeking to help ourselves as well as others with these amazing discoveries. Some of us are more educated than others, but we are all full of valuable information when it comes to this as we are the guinea pigs in this method of self-health. We all relay what works and what doesn't to each other. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we don't. Different people have different ailments and therefore we all have different treatments. We just don't want to blindly do anything new and that is why we are here. At one point, I had trouble with skepticism towards all of this seemingly " science fiction " stuff, but after everything I've learned here and elsewhere, I have no doubt in the power we hold over our own health and how real this " science fiction " stuff really is. If this is not enough for you, than you are going to miss out on one of the greatest discoveries in the history of man and you won't be able to blame anyone but yourself. If curing yourself of " incurable " and even " terminal " illnesses isn't enough proof for you.......than you must be in the medical field. No person is more blind than one that refuses to see. Guest guest Posted February 22, 2006 Report Posted February 22, 2006 Well said, Ken. For some reason I never felt any resistance to Dr. s stuff. It just rang sooo true for me from the first encounter I had with someone who was using her methodology. It made sense out of so much, medically, that never made sense before, like AIDS for example. And it explained why so many approaches don't work except as stopgap methodology. Perhaps some people are reluctant to believe it works because it is so inexpensive over all? Perhaps they think " How could it possibly work when millions haven't been invested in 'making sure'? Glad that wasn't one of my barriers to good health! > > There is one in which you speak of, Dr. Hulda herself. She did > all the research you should ever need. Guest guest Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I have to agree that was a funny question.
