Most here will tell you every two weeks is to spaced out. You will

have high levels at the beginning and low levels at the end of the two

weeks. Most recommend 100 every week or 200 every 10 days.

Also get your doc to check estradiol levels, (E2). testosterone

converts to E2 and DHT. as E2 levels climb too high you end up feeling

like shit. (E2 out competes testosterone for many receptor sites.)

Bumping shots to 300 will almost certainly push your E2 levels too

high.

Are you feeling extra sensitivity in the nipples and breast area? hard

nipples often/most of the time? these are warnings of high E2.

Get tested. Post your total T, free T, and E2 levels here for more

specific advice.

Hi Janet,

Sounds like you have had a pretty sick daughter on your hands and I

would be plenty worried too. I am wondering what test did they do

that they believed showed that she has a " weak " connective tissue

disorder?

Of course lots of symptoms that you mentioned resonate loud and

clear with rheumatoid issues but I think you should really push to

have her seen by a rheumy.

I took my dtr. to an adult rheumy and we were really pleased with

him. We later sought second opinions from ped rheumy's and it was

the adult rheumy that I wished we had stayed with. Just go with

your gut on this one. You have enough experience with this disease

that you will know if your daughter is getting good care.

I think it is time that you should insist that your ped give you a

referral. You obviously haven't gotten any answers from the e.r.

visits and it looks like they are just doing a bandaid approach

instead of finding out the root of the problem.

Let us know how things are going. I hope that your daughter starts

to feel better soon.

Hi Deb,

I'm glad you posted your message. We all understand how difficult it

is to work and be focused when you have candida. Not only does it

wreck havoc on your body, but it also interferes with your mind and

emotions. Brain fog is a very common symptom, along with many other

brain problems, caused by the toxins candida puts out; mainly alcohol!

Education is the key to licking candida my friend. So please do read

my article, which is in the Files on the left. If you read it you

will understand fully how candida works in the body, and why you must

do the diet recommended to start getting it under control. If you

cannot focus on reading much, maybe just read the section on the

diet! It's onward and upward from here out after starting on the

diet. It will help your body do it's job, which is healing and

keeping you healthy.

The best to you,

Bee

Dear Robin and Twyla,

I'm just curious. Has anybody suggested you try

to identify what foods are causing this problem?

With my wife it's pasta and bread. With me it's

milk products of any kind. I've also heard of

vegans with a sugar problem that have trouble

with abdominal bloating. When I avoid milk

products, my abdominal bloating and IBS subside.

When my wife avoids pasta and bread she obtains

relief from IBS and bloating. In my experience

those with a sugar problem also get better.

In my experience, most abdominal bloating and

IBS can be traced back to a food processing

problem with certain kinds of food. Which food

or foods varies from person to person.

Good luck and have a great week!

http://HealYourself.com has some good information

on this subject too though they're rebuilding their

website right now.

Yeah, I noticed that about Basso. Maybe he's upset he doesn't have Lyme's

so he doesn't want anyone else too either...I don't know, but he really

a bit more...the only thing is that I still am having trouble eating, and that

is OK, but I am eating more than I was last month.....

What is IMO Bee? Is it a brand of ready made? Is this different from the

IMO is the e-mail abbreviation for " In my opinion " . If you look back

==>Sorry, but as Zack said IMO stands for " in my opinion " ; there's also

IMHO which is " in my humble opinion " . The cabbage rejuvelac is always

homemade, and the recipe is in my main article, and also in the recipe

files. It is not the same a sauerkraut because it contains more

probiotics, and you do not eat the cabbage part. You drink the cabbage

rejuvelac liquid.

positives so I want to continue. The problem is that the last 10

days have been hell. I have had more nausea in the last 10 days

than in my entire life. It is always there but is terrible after I

eat. I am not taking any antifungals, or probiotics and only a

couple supplements(vit c, clo). I cut back my CO to 1 T a day.

==>Hi Gordon. You might need to cut back your CO to 1/4 tsp. a

couple of times a day. It is an antifungal so it kills candida in

your stomach which will make you very nauseated. But taking other

supplements will help too, i.e. B complex, cal/mag, liquid

chlorophyll, etc. - the diet and supplements work together, and you

also need digestive enzymes like betaine hydrochloric acid and maybe

pancreatic enzymes. But eating sauerkraut or kimchi with each meal

and doing the other things recommended in my article to aid

digestion will also help.

feel weak because I don't think my nutrition levels are high

enough. I am trying to hang in there but it is becoming dificult to

even function with my current state. I sip baking soda water to

help a little. Any other ideas?

==>Ensure you are not putting very much butter and CO in it, which

are both antifungal. Start with small amounts and only gradually

increase them every 4-5 days. Do ensure you are doing everything

you can to aid your digestion. Sauerkraut is a greal stabilizer of

stomach acid.

==>My nausea was so bad that I could only keep down 9 foods in the

whole world when I was curing my candida. So I really feel for you.

Gordon,

The coconut oil is what makes me feel nauseous sometimes - and I was

actually using it (small amounts only) before I joined this group!

Somedays I tolerate it okay and other days I don't. It must be strong

stuff! I can always tell it's the coconut oil because the nausea

occurs almost immediately after, and if I keep consuming it for

several days, the nausea gets increasingly worse. I also get an itchy

rash after several days of using more coconut oil. If I substitute

butter instead, I'm okay... but I noticed in Bee's post she

recommended cutting back butter too.

Not like I'm any expert or anything, but I think you'll have to build

up slowly to be able to tolerate some of these things. Back a few

years ago when I decided to switch to a raw diet overnight, I made

myself SO SICK!! I was much sicker with that diet than this one,

maybe it's because I'm taking it slower this time.

Good luck and hang in there.

.... Bee, I took your advice and cut back my butter & CO to small

amounts and I am so much better today. Very little nausea and clear

headed. Does my strong reaction mean that I have more severe candida

or is it an individual thing as to how one responds?

==>Hi Gordon. Please remember to put your name at the end of your

messages for our 2 blind members. Thanks.

==>I'm so glad you are less nauseated after cutting back the amount

of butter and coconut oil. Your reaction isn't unusual. That's why

it is important to start with small amounts and only gradually

increase them every 4-5 days to minimize healing reactions/die-off.

Slow and steady increases are key.

Hi Cary,

Gosh, I'm sorry you're still feeling so awful. There is a yoga pose

called " Wind Relieving pose " that might be of some help to pass the

gas buildup. Here is a link to a site that will show you what it is

and explain how to do it.

This post has really perked my interest. As some of you know, my 17 year old nephew was diagnosed with hep C which he was probably born with. My drug addicted sister has it. Due to a very confused life style, my nephew ended up in NYS custody for school refusal, drinking and smoking pot. He did well and was released early partly so that health issues could be addressed.

It did not take him long to get picked up again because they had him on a strict, unrealistic 7:00 pm curfew with an ankle band. I could have told them not to bother. This kid has a lot of energy and was not about to sit home with his elderly Grandparents and his nutty mother (my sister).

Now he is back in the custody of NYS at a juvenile center where he is doing well but his health issues are ignored. He will be released in June when he turns 18. Only God knows what will happen to him then. His health insurance will also expire then (He has it through my parents, his grandparents) The whole situation is a mess.

My question is this- Does Hep C ever go away by itself or does it only progress and get worse? Thanks for your help!
