Guest guest
i sent this to becca yesterday: i recently did the candex too - and was very pleasantly surprised. If you look at the amount of cellulase in it (104,000 CU) and the 3 types of friendly flora - it is a good combination - and will cause die-off. This is a 'blurb' on cellulase: " Cellulase digests fiber. It also " eats " pathogenic yeast, so candidiasis from a Candida overgrowth is often the result of inadequate " friendly " bowel bacteria coupled with a cellulase deficiency. Sudden, acute allergies can also be an outcome of cellulase deficiency. Candidiasis sets the stage for leaky gut syndrome which in turn can lead to the development of food allergies, as undigested food particles make their way into the bloodstream and trigger an immune response. Once these food particles have passed from the digestive sgystem to the circulatory system, the brain no longer interprets them as " food " . Instead they are considered foreign substances which must be eliminated from the body " . The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that I paid $19.99 (without shipping) for a 'weeks' worth of it - which was only 24 caps. Its good stuff - but for some of us - a little 'pricey' for what it is. I'm in the process of trying to find a similar combination - with more for the money. wendy CANDEX Anyone here tried using Candex? (Not the drug) It's made of cellulase enzyme, and is suppose to completely eliminate candida in 6 days with money back guarantee. It does it by dissolving the yeast's cellulose shell instead of poisoning it, like all the anti-fungals do. Alledgely there is little or no die-off because of this in mild to moderate cases of candida. I haven't tried it but I'm going to. Was wondering if anyone else had. Guest guest
Tryptophan, or 5 htp and B vitamin supplements could help with the seratonin level. Also, GLA could be helpful. I eat 2 or 3 cloves a week. --- ourjenuk wrote: --------------------------------- Hi, I have heard that the product called Candex is very good, has anyone tried it, and can I buy it in the UK. Guest guest
Jen, get on your computer's search engine (try google.com) and type in 'Wakunaga'. That's the company, based somewhere in California, which manufactures some marvelous garlic products. My father, who is fighting candida, has done very well indeed on the aged liquid garlic extract, and on the garlic capsules, too. The brand name is Kyolic. The liquid extract is pricey, but well worth the cost. Good luck! TJ > Raw garlic is probably the best natural antifungal > there is. Guest guest
Sue I forget if you were the one who uses Juice Plus. Somebody else likes it. I see mixed stuff on the internet about it but I wonder if you could check the ingredients--does it have fructose, soy, etc, or just truly only freeze dried veggies and fruits? How much sugar ends up being in a serving? If you could post this here I'd appreciate maybe others are interested. Thanx.

Guest guest
Sue, please email me at jenbooks13@... This is the first actual evidence I've read that candex worked. I could not tell from the site if it was a bunch of b.s. I also know someone using three-lac. Have you used it? The probiotics are apparently manufactured somewhat differently to release in the intestines and spore. I'd like to try candex--do you have a good price on it? I'm also getting compounded econazole nitrate shortly (in the mail on its way to me). I tried compounded miconazole nitrate and it was really helpful but I reacted badly to it (liver complained). Even when I took a smidge so it's some kind of sensitivity reaction. This may happen with econazole too. If it doesn't work I'm planning on an IV antifungal that is new. It has worked very very well. I have such a longstanding fungal problem I want to get rid of it first--I never would have gotten that sick with lyme in the first place, which I caught early, if not for systemic fungal problems that were pretty advanced. I recently tried Immune Pro but it is disagreeing with me. I thought it might--the whey. On th eother hand, there are these minerals from Immunova, remisel, reminite, that are really good. They are used by AIDS patients and most of them are seeing a big difference as a result. Reminite is magnesium sulfate, remisel is selenium which increases glutathione. You take only a few drops as its very strong because it goes straight into the cells--you might want to check it out, considering your practice. Merry Christmas all! Tons of snow. Guest guest
I am not planning on using it, or at least yet. After reading more in Crook's book I think the Diflucan along with olive leaf, Primal Defense 12 caps day, oregano oil and totally altered diet will be effective enough (won't have to worry about eating away their cellulose wall if they are not around in the first place). I always " like " to hear of negative experiences like yours though as it suggests it works. I will start on 1/2 100mg Diflucan tomorrow morning so hopefully I tollerate it fine. I tollerated 12 caps of Primal Defense w/o any problem. Thanks. > > Anyone use Candex? Any opinions on its effectiveness against > candida? Many thanks, Jen Hi Jen I take Candex, it has been the best thing for me as I have been unable to tolerate anti-fungals because of the die-off. Yes you can buy it in UK go to http://www.gutdoctor.co.uk Let me know if you take it and how it goes. I have M.E. too so my progress is slow but definitely recommend it! Garlic is brilliant too! Guest guest
Candex is great---ThreeLac puts Candex out of the water though, in my opinion. I did Candex for 2 years and ThreeLac has done more in 3 months than Candex did during that time. Just my experience. brenda Candex Hi All, FYI I found candex 120 capules at smartbomb.com for $43.99 plus $6 shipping. They also have a 800# if you prefer to order by phone.
