Guest guest
Great news Vicky :-) But can anyone hazard a guess as to why this is possible. Candex works on yeast, not bacteria. Or can it do both? Or can yeast cause bad breath? Just trying to gather some clues as to what a 3 week period of bad breath might have meant for my son (who has been taking at least 6 candex a day for the last year). Guest guest
Does anyone give Candex mixed in with nystatin ? I just read the bottle and it states should be given with 8 oz's of water and on an empty stomach. >>the emtpy stomach thing is because Candex is an enzyme, you don't want it being used up with food. I think along with the Nystatin sounds like a cunning plan - not one I had thought of Mandi x PS Have you activated charcoal just in case you have mega die off? Guest guest
So, I assume if is more efficient at doing this when given on an empty stomach. Just not sure why you need to give it with 8 oz's of water ? >>>Make sure it goes down I guess and that person is well hydrated - in generla folks don;t drink nearly as much water as they should. Guest guest
Candex obviously might have an effect on digestion also not related to yeasts. >>Yep which is why you give on empty stomach so as not to waste it - expensive compared to digestive enzymes like Houston Mandi x

Guest guest
Could well be the case. Also, according to some many of the enzymes could be 'working' on digesting viral proteins, so Candex working as an antiviral is possible... Not sure what enzymes are in Virastop, but that is supposed to work on that same principle. Guest guest
just interupting here tosay DEFINITELY HAVE THE ACT. CHARCOAL HANDY! I upped Jay's dose of this to say one quarter cap, having seen no reaction previously, he was obviously also very yeasty when I gave the upped dos because he had hellish die iff, terrible cramps judging from his behaviour, crying and saying ow, the pain was so bad it woke him up and the if hell were a nappy it was definitely the one I had to change after candex, do not take its' effect lightly, obviously someone with a bit of mild candida is not the same as our kids with their gutflora from the bowels of satan LOL been to scared to give it since but plan to this week as I have heard such a lot good said for it, hope that helps rather than hinders, best wishes Josie x > > Is it one enzyme, > or is it > one.. > What kind of enzyme is it, > a specific that only degrades Candida / yeasts, > or does it take othe " foods " ... > > Geir Flatabø > > 2007/1/14, Mum231ASD@... : > > > > In a message dated 14/01/2007 19:01:28 GMT Standard Time, > > jane_hogan@... writes: > > > > Does anyone give Candex mixed in with nystatin ? Guest guest
Candex was one of the last antifungals I used, and it worked VERY well to give me that " final push " toward finally getting rid of the candida once and for all. Once I started taking it, I quickly stopped having blood sugar crashes every afternoon. However you MUST take it on an empty stomach, and keep in mind that it will dissolve the coating on timed-release medicines you take, causing them to be released all at once. Guest guest
I'm getting good results with Candex and caprylic acid together. They work better than either one alone. I take 2 capsules of each, in the morning and at bed time (unless I had a late supper). I haven't experimented with dosage. Candex doesn't seem to help with oral candida, so I'm using grapefruit seed extract in water twice a day as a mouthwash. It's vile stuff, and it's too soon (2 weeks) to tell if it is completely effective. Guest guest
Just as a note, I suffered severe stomach pain and nausea from Candix. I almost ended up in ER that night. The manufacturer replied that happens sometimes because of embedded food in the stomach lining, but you will see no warnings on the label regarding this reaction. I believe the enzymes can directly attack the stomach and small intestines, thats the only way to get such severe pain that I saw. Use caution on your first dose and empty the capsule to only a 1/4 of its value to test for this negative response. jodi2ben <nessy@...> wrote: Has anyone here had success with this product? --------------------------------- Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell. Guest guest
No but it could be die-off which makes them uncomfortable for awhile. Guest guest
Actually, it did mine....I googled it and found that one of the ingredients is soy lecithin and my son is sensitive to anything with the tiniest amount of soy....so I had to stop using it. He reacted to it with a sort of drunken behavior...  [ ] Re: Candex No but it could be die-off which makes them uncomfortable for awhile. Guest guest
I think you are mistaken about it containing soy, where did you get your information? My son cannot tolerate the slightest bit of soy either and we used Candex without any problems. Drunken laughter is associated with the ethanol (alcohol) which is a biproduct of the yeast in the gut. So yes, I believe the child is actually " drunk " when the ethanol is present. > > > > has candex made anyones child worse? > > > > > >
Guest guest
http://coastherbal.com/product_info.php/products_id/329 Found it here - my son has a .932 allergy to soy - and every time I gave him candex he acted weird, set him back terribly. I gave it to him for weeks before I figured it out. Stopped giving it to him and he was normal again. [ ] Re: Candex I think you are mistaken about it containing soy, where did you get your information? Guest guest
Interesting, it must be available with and without soy because my bottle didn't say soy. It also did not say 33% more. It is possible that this is a newer version or that they added the soy and it was cheaper to make 33% more LOL, wouldn't that be a shame. Here is one that doesn't say soy. <http://tinyurl.com/4mkdq4> > > > > > > has candex made anyones child worse? > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I don't know what to say about it, Liz - as my bottle didn't say soy either, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it or started giving to ds.  But after ds's reaction every time he got it, I started googling Candex ingredients and found several sites that showed soy lecithin in it, but like your site, I found others that didn't show it. I guess a call to the company might be the only way to solve the mystery.  Wish I had the time but I am trying to get out of town to see Jerry Kartzinel speak - so excited!  [ ] Re: Candex Interesting, it must be available with and without soy because my bottle didn't say soy.
