Guest guest
Bill, my apologies if in deconstructing your initial helpful words I caused you to share more than you planned to at this point. You'll find that on the whole, we're strongly against RAI here. This is not to say that people don't go on to lead satisfying, productive lives after RAI. It's just that RAI is not the panacea many drs. present it to be, as you are learning. I don't have statistical evidence to back this up, but I suspect that the people who do best are the ones who are the most informed -as to what their replacement alternatives are, what symptoms to be on the lookout for, what blood work to insist on and when, and how to interpret their labs, among other factors. Members of this group have been through the gamut of what thyroid disease has to " offer " - from thyroid storm to Graves rage, all levels of thyroid eye disease, just about all the possible permutations of medications, and more. And in those rare instances when something entirely new pops up, someone will know how to find out more info about it. Have a good weekend, all, Fay ________________________________________________________________ Sign Up for Juno Platinum Internet Access Today Only $9.95 per month!
