Dear ,

WOO HOO for YOU!

WOW WOW WOW WOW!

Fantastic! You should be VERY proud of yourself!

I wish with all my might that I will have the success you have had!

I haven't had surgery yet, but it will be SOON! Then I will follow

in the footsteps of all the WONDERFUL people here, who have reclaimed

their LIVES!

Congratulations! If I could reach in the computer and give you a hug

of congratulations, I would!

You GO, girl!

Mighty hugs to you,

Cathy

DAMN! Is this what other people see when they look at me? I guess I

don't really see a change and yet I know I have. It's nice to have

someone else to look at and sort of put into context what other

people are saying about me. Great job !

I took a look at the pics and think they are great. Some people may

note the weight loss, or dropping 1/2 of yourself. Others may say it

was the easy way out. I think you needed to get applause for the

work of sticking to a " strange diet " and not falling into old habits

like drinking soda pop or grazing on candy. You also endured pain

and recovery from a big surgery. And you took into account of the

down sides for the rest of your life. The weight loss is only a

minor part of it. It is the visible part and cant be missed. The

little things are what makes it all worse it. Being able to bent

down without feeling your gut. Being able to cut your toe nails

without doing some unexplainable acrobatic move. Being able to

scratch your back and doing a brisk walk. Bending down and picking

up things without getting nauseas. No longer worrying about sugar

lows. There are so many to list. I did notice the change in your

legs, and I bet your biggest spending was on shoes. LOL I bet none

of your normal friends have noticed that one. So I'm glad you have

come so far, because you show others that there is hope for all of us.

No truer words have ever been spoken! There are a lot of little things

you don't think about. I have lost about 1/2 a shoe size during all

this; but all my old shoes still fit. :-) Just have to tie them a bit

tighter. LOL! Oh! And I bought a 38D bra today! It's a bit tight;

but it fits!!! Before I was wearing a 46D! I even JOGGED on the

treadmill today! WOOHOO!!

I'm the same way. I still see myself most of the time as the old me.

Wonder if we'll ever stop seeing ourselves that way. I hope I don't so

that I'll always have that reminder to keep myself on track. Ya know?

Wow. It hardly looks like the same person in these photos.

Excellent. Did you get taller, too? :)
