Guest guest
Houston are excellent. However, you would need to be careful with an ulcer. Check out www.enzymestuff.com and or mail de felice or Devin Houston at www.houstonni.com for advice on the best way forward HTH Mandi in UK > can anyone recommend a digestive enzyme for a person with an ulcer? >

Guest guest
Protease enzymes should not be used by people with gastric ulcers. This includes things like Houston and Kirkman. One I would recommend as being healing to the GI tract is Gastric Complex HP by Tyler. It has Marshmallow root, slippery elm, DGL and Gamma Oryzanol along with non-protease plant enzymes. Once the ulcer is well healed, you can add proteases. Of course, with an ulcer you might test for H Pylori and treat that if necessary, either with a special antibiotic regimen, or a natural product such as mastic gum, DGL, etc. HTH, Kim > > can anyone recommend a digestive enzyme for a person with an ulcer?
