RE: CO Q10 orphan drug status! update

Sorry if I excited

everyone unduly! I think the

designation of " Orphan Drug " status is so that Tichcon can begin

clinical trials of CoQ10. Then if they are successful, Tischon can apply

for approval for prescription drug status. I think that is how it

works. From what I understand, that means at this point in time, CoQ10 is

still not prescription. Dog gone

obtains Orphan Drug Designation for Coenzyme Q10 from the US FDA. The

designation is for the use of CoQ10 in the treatment of Mitochondrial

Cytopathies.

This could be a happy day! I know many of us will be contacting our pharmacies very

soon!
