DOC band is another brand by Cranial Technologies. http://www.cranialtech.com/R YAZDANIAN <yazdanian@...> wrote: Thanks for that. I'm pleased to hear there was little change in your daughters demeaner - must have been a relief. I posted quite hastily as soon as I joined - i should have said my name is Nicola and I'm mum to Kayson (affectionately known as Kasey). Kasey has a cranial range of 76 but his asymmetry is severe at 24mm. I went to this consulatation today without much preperation and now i'm all over the place, frantically trying to decide what to do. My consulation was with LOC but I now see another brand STAR are there anymore out there I should know about ? My biggest concern was that the clinician advised that the fitting can often effect their character.

Kasey is so full of laughter, always chuckling away and hes slept for 12 hours since he was six weeks - it made me cry and would brake my heart if his laughter, chuckles and general personality were effected. Especially when you consider that they are only claiming to effect asymmetry by 50 pc Any comments / thoughts are greatly appreciated Re: Effects on Character / Personality / sleeping patterns I have seen a few posts

that kids are crankier, don't sleep as well,... but the vast majority (>90%?) adjust after a few weeks or less andare the same as ever. My daughter has always been a happy, activebaby, who didn't sleep that well (not horrible either). that was thecase before, during and after the band.-christinemom to sydney/ 15 mo/ starband grad>> I've just had an initial consultation for the fitting of a band for my > eight month old son. WE were scared about this as well & I can also tell you that my 10 1/2

month old didnt blink...infact he started walking 2 weeks after we got

his helmet...he's his super shiny sunny self....just as he was before.

We are 3 weeks away from graduation & now I think I will miss it!! I

dont know what I am going to do when he bumps his head now!! There

will be nothing to protect it!!
