My first response was that he worked at the quarry with Fred, but felt there

was more.... So google being google,

³Actually, Barney's occupation was left up in the air in the early years of

the series, which ran 166 episodes from 1960 through 1966. The folks at

Hanna-Barbera, the studio that created the series, say Barney was a TV

repossessor in one episode and a geological engineer in another--not your

typical white-collar career path, but hey, it's the cartoons. They don't

recall him being a short-order cook but admit it's possible. In later years

Barney settled into a more comfortable existence working with Fred at the

quarry. In one episode he was even made Fred's boss by Mr. Slate, the head

honcho.²

HA! This is very funny.

Pam, Pam, Pam.....Your not suppose to google!!!! We are suppose to

prove we really were kids some long while ago..... <grin> Okay, now

this one isn't real old but a little harder...What was the dog " s name

who always levatated when he got a doggy biscuit? He also liked to

sneak up behind the cat and bark. The cat would shoot up to the

ceiling. The dog would do a hoarse kinda laugh about it. I can't

remember if this was a cartoon from our time or my daughters' time.

Can't wait to met you.

Meg and ,

As I am reading this answer--CORRECT--I am getting a demonstration of the

sighing and the wrapping of his paws around himself as he gets the biscuit.

,

you are a crack up with this question and Meg, I could see you with your hand in

the air, saying, " I know, I know!! " too funny.

Now, I am trying to think of a really good one!!!! But, I am thinking that

, you might be the queen of this!

Acually guys, I was thinking of Precious Pup....clue was sneaking up

behind the cat and barking.....only Precious did that. But now that

for all you guys who watched Rocky and Bulwinkle. The part of their

show that told stories with the moral of the stories at the end. What

Wow, this is almost demoralizing. I pride myself on having grown up on black

and white tv. But I can't think of the exact answers of any of these important

questions.

Ok. Here's mine. What did the girl want to borrow from Kookie?

WEll, we are in the midst of a HUGE storm and because I live with a crazy

person, we had to shovel the 11 inches of snow, JUST IN CASE IT FREEZES OVER

NIGHT. Now, I hear the weather man say it will turn to rain and wash it away,

but JUST IN CASE.....

so, I am awake because now I am pumped from shoveling and making 6 loaves of

Irish Bread (it is yummy, if I do say so myself) and going through mail. Not to

take this on a downer, but my mother had a mild stroke on Sat. and my sisters

and I have been dealing with " the plan " . In the middle of this HUGE storm, the

hospital decided that because she is not acute (despite being on a catheter for

a UTI) they wanted her transferred to rehab!! It is a long and not-so-glorious

story, but I have been on the phone, so my ability to go to sleep right now is

severely compromised.

well, hmm. I just hope that you were partners in shoveling all that snow at

least. But, brrr... please take good care.

Your bread sounds wonderful. I would so like to taste it.

I'm so sorry about your mother, Pam. Thankfully it was a mild stroke. It sound

like she is nearby? If so, that is a blessing for all of you.

Sending warmth and healing your way,
