Good for you! Ignore the nasty looks. I *know* there are bf moms out there,

I see them wearing the nursing shirts, but either they're incredibly

discreet or they just don't do it in public. Pity.

Welcome to all the new people! I haven't been here very long myself and

I've been kind of quite lately but I thought I'd say hi.

I'm Michele, 29 y/o SAHM of 2 1/2. Ds Arran is almost 6, in grade one and

was bottle fed because of lack of knowledge and support at the hospital. Dd

Keely is almost 2 and still nursing, we've never had one problem, not even

sore nipples until I got pregnant with #3 due in March. Keely only nurses a

few times a day now, usually nap time, bed time, maybe once in the middle of

the night and somtimes first thing in the morning. So I just grit my teeth

and bare the pain, it only lasts 5 seconds when she first latches on :-)

We live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and you can see more about us,including

my breastfeeding story at our homepage.

I am nervous either way to tell you the truth. I know that this will be our

last child no matter what, so it will have to be wonderful. A third boy will

be great in many, many ways. I am comfortable with the whole boy thing and

have everything I need. A girl would be a nice change, but I am not used to

even thinking girl around here. Oh well, I think it's another boy anyways.

Now...if we can only agree on a third boy's name we will be set. You all

have some great ones here though. I may be considering some of them:)

just curious as to why you think it is a boy:-)?

I had a feeling this one ws a girl early on, just becasue it was a

completley differnt pregnancie then the boys, I know that does not always

mean anything, but it did in my case. I get another ultrasound this next

friday, I have had 6 or 7 so far, I get them every 4 weeks.

I'm not a but I am a Micki. Around the week that the privates take

their place I broke out with the worst acne -- all over. This is something I

have never had. I was told this was a reaction from the male hormones in the

boy. Made sense to me. The U/S confirmed that it is a boy.

Dunno, just did :-) It was a feeling.... I also always *know* what my

friends are having, it's like I picture them in pink or blue and I've been

right every time but one and I think that time I was influenced because I

REALLY wanted my step sister to have a girl, but she had another boy. I

also knew someone who had been trying for 10 years to have a baby using

invitro among other things and one time she told us that she was pregnant

and I just couldn't be happy for her, she miscarried a few weeks later

( But she did end up adopting a little boy a year or so later.
